Kinda saddens me that every single time I go here it's never the same amount of fries sometimes I don't even get the right amount of chicken. I've just dealt with it but I'm officially done starting today. I won't go back. I ask for large fries and extra fries instead of coleslaw and this is what I get, a normal thing of fries that you'd get with a regular order not asking for extra fries I get charged quite a bit extra for extra fries so give me my extra fries. I'm a fan of Zaxbys and reaffirmed my dedication. Instead of drive thru I decided to walk inside to place my order. I was greeted upon stepping up the register. Order was simple, The House Salad, with dressing of choice. Order was confirmed and took possibly 5-7 minutes to receive. Salad lettuce and other items were fresh looking and tasted good. My husband and I went to Zaxby's on 9 Mile Rd. For dinner. There was only one other couple in the restaurant at the time, but when our food was ready the employee did not bring it to our table. Instead, she stood behind the counter shouting the name several times. My husband asked for ketchup, and she said they didn't have any, and from there proceeded to be mouthy and rude. She and another female employee stood there laughing and talking about my husband. I could hear this from my table, and went to the counter and asked to speak to the manager. They made comments like, "oohhh, she wants to talk to the manager". The manager finally came out. He was useless, and it was obvious that he is not in charge of his employees or his store. These two women don't deserve to have their job when they treat customers this way. We will not be back! read more

Terrible, awful experience. Came in last Monday because my fiancee was craving a buffalo chicken salad. There were two other people in the lobby who stopped me before i ordered and let me know they had been there a long time waiting for their food, I wish I would have listened. I go up and explain to the cashier that I wanted a buffalo chicken salad and he informed me they no longer offer that but i can order one of their salads and they'll toss the chicken in buffalo sauce for me, which was weird because that's exactly what I wanted, no need to explain it to me. Anyway, I tell him which salad I want and he mumbles something about sauce and I asked him what he said to which he replied "It's asking me which sauce you want but I'm just going to pick one. Pretty rude and again a little weird but I saw he picked the tongue torch sauce so I didn't press the issue. After a thirty minute wait for only one salad I get home and my fiancee tells me there's no toast and there's very little sauce on the chicken at all. Granted I could have checked the bag for toast but I'm not popping open the salad container to inspect such a simple item for accuracy. Thirty minute wait only to be given an incomplete order after dealing with the strangeness of the cashier. Absolutely do not recommend. There's a KFC right down the road. read more

I came all the way here for some packaged salsa. It's shameful to call the sauce "nuclear". An actual child could have had more spice after eating an altoid. Overall however the service was quick and efficient. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was typical of a restaurant of this quality. I arrived to no such order in their systems , but the staff went into action and two salads , 20 wings and 3 cookies were in my hand less than 5 minutes and with such niceness . We love zaxbys. It's our go to for a quick meal on the go. Their chicken tenders are arguably the best you can get in a drive thru. The fries and zaxs sauce are also a hit with the kids. They have a variety of salads, and seasonal offerings. This location no longer has milkshakes sadly, not sure about other locations. The hot honey mustard and sweet and spicy are some of our favorite sauces. The Zaxs wings and things meal is big enough for the two of us to split and not a bad deal for $10 bucks. read more

I have been going to this zaxbys on nine mile for a long time, but these past couple of times i've gone the service has been terrible. In the past i've received completely wrong orders or just little things missing like no sauce, but this time was the last straw. I asked for a large drink the worker says we are out of large cups, that's fine except when i pull up to the window there's obviously large cups on the counter not that big of a deal whatever, but just to add onto that i asked for two sweet teas and one coke i get my drinks and they're all sweet teas so not only the drink sizes but you completely give the wrong drink. Too add onto that even more, i get home the fries are completely undercooked still partially frozen, even have a frozen taste to them, the boneless wings have zero sauce on them after i requested sauce, the chicken strips were even partially frozen. You would think the food would be cooked after having being asked to pull up and wait for our food. Overall disappointed with how the management has been lately and i will not be going back anytime soon. read more

First, I usually get the cobb zalad, which is great, but last night the drive thru attendant mentioned the signature sandwiches and I ordered 2 of them for a change. Got to window, paid, got my drinks and was asked to move forward. I did and then sat there for 10 minutes nd watched 8 other drive thru customers get there orders and leave. I took my receipt, went inside and a young African American girl was standing there doing nothing. TOld her my story and she asked what I had ordered. I handed her my receipt, she turned and gave it to the cook and my meals were ready in less than a minute. She turned and set the bag on the counter and walked away. NO, I am sorry, piss of, nothing..could have cared less that they forgot about me. Horrible customer service!!! for managment, this was 5:30 yesterday. My girlfriend's and I decided to go out to lunch on a whim because one of them was craving a "Zaxby's salad." Since there is a new Zaxby's less than 5 minutes away from where we were, we decided to go check it out. I've only been to Zaxby's once, and that was in another town. I liked it before but honestly, was not sure what to expect. I chose to get the house salad, with fried chicken, because I had seen it advertised a lot lately. The girl that took my order, while was not overly friendly, she was very professional and didn't get upset with me taking so long to look over the menu, even though the line was building behind me, she never rushed me. By the time I was done making my drink, my order was called. I was pleasantly surprised to see it served on a large glass salad plate. While the plate was a bit heavy for me, because I have arthritis and tendonitis in my hands, it was a little hard to carry the heavy tray, it was still nice to feel like they went that extra mile to make it nice and serve it on something other than a Styrofoam container. The salad was very good, I was very impressed. They also gave me 2 packages of salad dressing, which shocked me. One of my friends required more dressing and was told it would be .25 for more, which I thought was a bit much. We were in the restaurant for at least 1 1/2 to 2 hours and never once were we rushed to leave or made to feel like we shouldn't be there. That was very nice to be able to relax and enjoy our visit without the peering eyes of those wanting to make room for others. I enjoyed it very much, and most definitely will return. They let us move our tables together so we could all sit together and never complained, so we will be considering this as a spot for our future group luncheons. Yummy. Road trip from New Orleans and we had to find a Zaxbys. I honestly don't know how they have better salads than most restaurants. Super fresh ingredients, chicken perfectly grilled and tender. I got the cobb salad and the portions are generous. Super fast even though we were at peak lunch time. Can't wait until y'all open in south Louisiana. No more wilted, sad salads from Panera for me once I can get a Zalad Bowl. Hurry up, Zaxbys!!! read more

I can't believe how terrible the customer service is at this Zaxby's location. It's marginally better if you go inside the restaurant to eat, because you can point out anything missing or incorrect right away. My kids love their chicken tenders so they beg me for Zaxby's from time to time. And I give in, because I think, "how can it be wrong every time?" And yet there is always something wrong. It's not major stuff, but always something important. A missing fork (not sure how they expect you to eat the cole slaw in your meal), the extra sauce that you had to pay for (not like Chick Fil A-who will give you whatever you want) is not in the bag, the extra piece of garlic toast you ordered is missing. It's never enough missing to make you spend the time to turn around and drive back to Zaxby's, but enough to make you irritated that you didn't get what you paid for. I've called every time (5x so far) and been given a variety of apologies. And they will be happy to give me the missing piece of toast if I want to go back and get it (not worth it). Like I said, my kids like the tenders, but since they aren't paying I get to make the decision to not go back to Zaxby's. I'll spend my money on Chick Fil A, Foosackly's or Popeye's chicken tenders. i would give zero stars if i could. a customer tried to start a fight with my family while we were eating because she was first asked to move her car when she park so close to our car we could not get into it. then she came in the restaurant and sat next to us with her kids and plopped out her breast to feed her baby. she was sitting in a booth near a window as my family was talking we were looking out the window talking about the weather. she started to yell at us about looking at her breastfeeding. then she brought up about the car issue it went down hill from there. we had a baby with us. as she continued to verbally attack us she upset the baby, my child, and family. we had to leave the restaurant because of the yelling and threats coming from the customer. while this was going on we recieved no help and i repeat no help from the staff of this restaurant even after we request for help. after speaking to hunter the manager of the restaurant in which he stated that he staff is not supposed to help a customer being verbally assaulted by another customer plus he took the side of the person who started the attack. he blamed us and stated that we should have just left when it all started. he is the most rude, unkind, and inhuman manager i have ever in countered. he should not have the job he is in. plus there is no way of complaining except through a hotline that goes right back to the rude manager. beware if anything happens to you at this establishment you are on your own. you are not safe here at all and i repeat not safe here at all!!!!!!!!! these people do not care about you at all!!!!! read more
