Zaxby's is a somewhat solid option for a fast food meal, but overall, I just don't think it's worth it. I never really feel satisfied after the meal and wish I would have just spent the time and money getting something of better quality. But it's not inedible and if it's offered to me, I will eat it. I like the fries, which are pretty hard to mess up, but I feel like I would enjoy them if it feels a little bit more like they were made fresh. Nothing is really a standout. I have never had a bad experience service wise, and it's pretty much what you would expect of a fast food restaurant on that front. read more

This is a duplicate review. I just realized I had posted a review a month or so ago but it was on my work account. Good as it gets super fast food. Staff has been very friendly both times I have visited. Restaurant is very clean. I love Chik filet but sometimes can have a heavy taste to it - this fast food was much lighter on the tummy while still being filling. All the sauces are good but in my opinion do not live up to their names but in full disclosure I might have to high of a heat tolerance. I had the chicken strips, fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, & a drink for $12.52. I believe that's a fair price for all that food! I will return! read more

My 9yr old daughter loves this place, but it's not exactly my favorite. I ordered the Blu salad with fried chicken and the amount of chicken I received was shameful. I would have taken it back but I didn't open my plate until I got home. I wanted to like the salad but it seemed a bit bland. I don't know but something is missing in the flavor profile. My daughter's chicken tenders were just ok as well. Surprisingly, service was pretty fast. We didn't wait long for our food at all. I ordered thru the drive thru which is super convenient. Whenever I want a salad this is my to go place because they hands down they make a great salad! I get the house salad with grilled chicken and blue cheese. It's so good and it's my favorite. You also get the signature piece of bread which is delicious! I went in the drive-thru and employees are always so quick and efficient with getting my order out and they are very nice! Usually you need a GED or higher in education to acquire a job. However, that's not the case here. These two pictures were taken a month apart. I even contacted corporate to let them know their employees don't have the spelling capabilities of a third grader, and they thanked me for bringing it to their attention. Clearly they did nothing. If you can't spell avocado correctly, I don't trust you making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, let alone an oven requiring temperature settings and timing as well as numerous other devices you have in your restaurant. Ordered: Big Zax Snak Meal (~$9; free with app download): 3 Chicken Fingerz, Texas Toast, Zax Sauce, Spicy Zax Sauce, served with Crinkle Fries, and a small Fountain drink Coleslaw Cup (~$1) Aya's take: I was finally in a state that had Zaxby's, and so many people rave about Zaxby's that I had to try it for myself! I had downloaded the app the day prior after hearing they offer a free Big Zax Snak Meal for new users. That's exactly the order I would get, with added coleslaw, so it worked out perfectly. The Chicken Fingerz were crispy and decently sized. The Texas Toast was super buttery, crisp on the outside, and soft on the inside. The order typically comes with one sauce, but I wanted to see the difference with the Zax Sauce & Spicy Zax Sauce. I ultimately preferred the Zax sauce but both had great flavors! The Crinkle Fries were pretty standard, and were so fitting with this meal. I'm glad I got the Coleslaw Cup as it would've felt incomplete without a fresh element to it. Overall, it was a good try and certainly kept me full for a while! I might need to do a side-by-side with Raising Cane's to see which one is better. Until then, the debate continues! read more

If you order a salad to go, be sure to check for the dressing before leaving! I ordered a salad, with three additional dressings. There forgot about my online order and I had to ask. The guy who looked to be the manager handed me my bad, I asked about the dressing--he said it was in there. I asked if the extra was in there, he grabbed 2 and put them in the bag. I walk out. I get home, and there are only 2 dressings in the bag. Not the FIVE I was supposed to get. My complaint: If you insist on charging me for extra dressing, ensure it's in the bag. Better yet, if I order a salad, just make sure there is even the allotted amount is in the bag. The best part: I called. After all this, I told them about missing 3 dressings... and the employee only said "Okay." I wasn't happy. Not one bit. But I dropped the issue. Yes, FIVE dressings. And I intended to use all five. Hadn't been to this location in at least a year, I think. I hate to say it but, it seems like it has really changed. (& not in a good way) When we entered, the 2 with me went to use the restroom first. They came back out & said it was disgusting. One couldn't use it at all, based on the condition. We went to grab us a table. It was dirty & sticky.... the seats were greasy & covered in crumbs. I went to get napkins but, I didn't see them at first because they were laying flat in the holder instead of upright. The food was pretty good. No complaints there. The service was . Since we don't have a Zaxby's down in south Florida whenever I come to Orlando or anywhere in the vicinity, I make sure to stop. I was super excited about coming and was a little disappointed. I ordered my usual wingz and thingz. The thingz (chicken tenders) was just as I remembered. Simply delicious. The wingz on the other hand were not. They were slightly breaded and not fried hard at all as I'd asked. The fries were were not fresh either. Very soggy and limp. I would've assumed that with the length of the line that food would've been fresh especially the fries. I didn't even attempt to try the toast. The workers were very nice though and I loved the way that they had a system on how to bring out the food. The negative thing about this location is definitely the parking lot and surrounding traffic area. It can be really difficult to get in and out of with the high volume of traffic it sees. I can also be very busy during Peak eating hours during the week. So if you're on a lunch break you might want to consider how long you have before you decide on this as your lunch option. Other than that is location is awesome. They have all the typical things you would expect to find for this location and the chain in general. Orders are always made fresh however they do come out quickly. When my personal favorites is the Cobb salad with fried chicken. They do have a good light ranch if you're trying to cut calories as well. The inside offers plenty of seating so if you're on a lunch break but want to stay and hang out you should be able to find a seat. The inside is also kept clean for the most part so you don't have to worry about dirty seats. During peak hours you may find a few dirty tables since it's a high turnover. Overall: A Despite being in a high-traffic area this location actually serves up food pretty quickly just be sure to keep in mind that surrounding traffic may back up and cause it to take longer just because of where it's located. read more

On Sunday May 30th 2021 we stopped by the Zaxby's in front of the Millenia Mall in Orlando for lunch before driving back home to the Miami area. The closest Zaxby's to where we live is over an hour away in Palm Beach County. The cashier that took our order, Jean A., was a bit impatient with us, which was fine. I worked at both a McDonald's and Pollo Tropical in high school; they weren't easy jobs, and tough days happen. However, Jean A. was notably in a rush as he kept asking us if "that would complete" our order after each item we requested. My girlfriend specifically noted that he kept rushing her at this time as she doesn't know their menu very well. We gave Jean A. my name for the order: "Erick". Our order was placed and our receipt was handed to us. Nothing was wrong at this point. Minutes later, the cashier, Jean A., began calling out for a "Larry" to pickup their order from the front counter. "Larry" was repeated several times; we didn't react. Then, the order number was announced, and it turned out that it was in fact our order, so I walked over to retrieve our food. Despite the name oversight and impatient service, nothing was wrong at this point. Upon arriving to get our food, the cashier, Jean A., asked me if I was Larry, to which I told him "no", that I was named Erick, but that the order number that he yelled out was our correct order number. After I told Jean A. that I wasn't Larry, he responded by saying "well that's the name on the order". I told him "well, you were the one who took our order." At that point, while still holding our food out for me to grab, Jean turned his vision and focus towards the back of the restaurant away from me in the middle of our conversation, which, along with the back-and-forth about the name on the receipt, was very dismissive. While I was annoyed by him I also didn't want to keep speaking to him, so I grabbed my food, which he was still holding over the counter as he looked away in the middle of our interaction, and went to my table to eat with my girlfriend and her 6 year-old daughter. Nothing was wrong enough for me to make a complaint. Less than a minute later though, cashier Jean A. had followed me back to my table, stood right over me as I sat, inches away from myself, my girlfriend and her daughter, and without his mask on in a very peculiarly manner asked me "is there a problem?" I responded and said "is there a problem with what?" He firmly stated "is there a problem with the food?" I said, "no, there's no problem." Jean then rebutted "I think there is a problem because you snatched the food out my hand. You got a problem?" I, again, with my girlfriend and her 6 year old daughter at the table, told him that there was no problem, and he walked away back to the cashier counter. It was hard not to absorb his line of questioning as veiled threats. If I had said "yes, there is a problem", how exactly was he planning on resolving it? It felt as though he wanted to fight me on the spot with my significant other and her child, who is just finishing first grade, right there beside me at that table. Needless to say, both myself, but moreover, my girlfriend felt very threatened by Jean A. After finishing our food, we went back up to the cashier counter to speak to a manager. The only person standing there at that moment was Jean A., so when I asked him to get his manager, he tapped the first person closest to him, who confirmed she was a manager. I began telling her about the incident, and Jean A. began to loudly interrupt my conversation with the manager in a threatening manner stating that I was only telling part of the story, and he began to shout at my girlfriend. The entire incident should be on camera at the restaurant. I am not sure how the managers dealt with Jean A., but I highly recommend no one visit this establishment as some of their staff will risk it all and fight you over literally anything. I imagine Jean A. is young or has nothing to lose (what if I was someone else with less patience carrying a gun?), but it was the absolute worst way to end our family road trip. I felt bad for his managers who were put in that situation because of him. His selfishness put everyone in a bad spot. read more

I typically only write positive reviews never enjoy writing a negative, however this could not go without saying. Incredibly rude employees on the day/time I visited the Millenia location. Two employees were fighting with one another when I was at the drive-thru window. The drive-thru attendant handed me a straw and my order. She went to close the window. I stopped her saying I had ordered a drink (hence the straw she gave me) and without saying a word or apologizing, she looked at her screen, walked away and brought the drink back. I've only ever been to a Zaxby's once in Fort Myers, FL and I wasn't too impressed with the food or my overall experience. I went to this location with my fiancee since I now work nearby, figuring I would give it another shot. We stood in front of the cashier ready to order and for about 10 seconds he was either completely zoned out or was distracted by the loud conversation happening next to us. Regardless it took him a bit to realize we were there. Strange. Anyway, we placed our order and sat down. I wasnt given a table placard or a buzzer and I didn't have to give my name to anybody. I wasnt told how they'd know which table to run food to, until I realized they constantly yell out numbers (printed at the bottom of the receipt, which I naturally would crumble into a pocket or throw out) throughout the restaurant. It got annoying. My cup accidentally fell on the floor before I got to fill it up and I went to go ask for a new one, but stood up at the counter for what felt like a lifetime before I was acknowledged by anybody. Again. Aside from that, the food was okay. The chicken tenders looked freshly fried and were juicy, but did not have much flavor or seasoning anywhere. The piece of toast I received was smushed in certain spots but still was nice and buttery. I tried the pasta salad and it was decent. It didn't really stand out but it was okay. The fries though tasted like absolutely nothing. No seasoning or anything seemed to have gone on my fries. My fiancee ordered the 3 chicken sliders and wasn't told it includes their sauce, which he did not want. The chicken was still good, but the bread was not. Didn't taste fresh. Biggest plus for me here was the Coca Cola free style machines. The dining room itself was clean, but the in bathroom, there were broken paper towel dispensers and no soap. Not really a place I would come back to. You can find better service & more flavorful chicken and fries elsewhere. read more

Zaxby's has the best, greasy, somewhat unhealthy :-), fried mushrooms you could ever sync your teeth into. Lol. I found out about Zaxby's some years ago when I was a meat eater. I thought going vegetarian I would no longer get the opportunity to enjoy some of their "comfort foods" but that's not the case at all! My usual order consists of a Zaxby's house salad with no meat, crinkle fries, and those yummy, yummy, (greasy), mushrooms. (I stress greasy because that is exactly what they are. Keeping it real with you folks.) It turns out to be a really filling meal that I don't even finish. But it works for a vegetarian who wants to eat at a place that predominantly caters to chicken eaters. Their salads are great! They usually come with two slices of their famous toasted, white, bread (which I usually take a bite or two and put the rest to the side. Have you seen what white bread can do to the body?? First, google maps need to step up their game because this place was so hard to find! Ok maybe it's because I'm also directionally challenged but I knew the place was across from Millennia Mall - I can see it from the street while driving - but maps kept taking me to Wendy's! And I couldn't see Zaxby's! None the less i did finally find it! I was headed on a road trip back home with my dog so had to just go through the drive thru, which I always appreciate a quick service place, that is higher quality than the typical fast food joint, having a drive thru! I opted for their boneless wings & fries combo. The wings were juicy and had tons of sauce which was delicious! Fries were crisp and slightly thicker cut. I enjoyed the BBQ sauce!
