We visited Palm Beach Meats on a Saturday afternoon after hearing rave reviews about their waygu sandos. My boyfriend is a big fan of waygu so he was in heaven! Every menu item has some type/form of waygu in it. From American staples like burgers and hotdogs to Asian favorites like wontons and lumpia. There's a variety of menu options to choose from including breakfast items. Palm Beach Meats also has retail selling meat, local food products and wine. After much deliberation, we ordered the Australian waygu filet sando, Australian waygu strip sando, waygu chili cheese hot dog, and the Japanese cream brulee cream sando. Everything was delicious, however the standouts were the filet sando and the cream brulee sando (employee's recommendation-no notes!). We sat at the bar and the employees we were chatting with were really nice and easy to talk to, and happy to share what their favorite menu items were. We were scouting this place out before we were even in town, and it did not disappoint! We did their wagyu Philly cheese steak and the Wagyu filet sandwich, fries, the Wagyu wontons, and two drinks. Saw that they had the viral Japanese Creme Sandos and was so excited to try them. The restaurant is very clean and has a calming nature even when though it was pretty busy. You order and pay at the counter and then a receive a table number that you can take to whichever table you choose. All of the staff were very nice as well. I ordered both Strawberry and Creme brûlée Japanese Creme Sandos. They were both delicious, but my favorite was hands down the Creme brulee one. The bread on both were perfectly crispy and fresh. I do believe that they both could be improved. I think that the whipped cream on both could be a little sweeter. On the strawberry Sando, I think that the strawberry creme should have a little more strawberry infused in it as the strawberry flavor didn't fully come through. Since the whipped cream and strawberry cream weren't as sweet, the tart strawberry slices on top didn't have any contrast. I recently attended the Palm Beach Meats one year anniversary party on a Sunday morning. They had a large crowd and obviously have a lot of fans. High quality meat, gourmet grocery items, beer and wine and frozen items like premium ice cream are a huge draw. I turned up a half hour before they were scheduled to open and there was a big line and the parking lot was full. Fortunately there is additional parking at another shopping center next door. The line snaked in front of the building and I waited my turn to go inside and order. My plan was to get a sandwich and also some wagyu ground beef. Everything looked good and while I waited in line to get to the counter I noticed they have a lot of premium grocery items from Japan. Very interesting but my focus was on selecting a sandwich. It was my turn and I ordered a pound of wagyu ground beef and opted for the pastrami breakfast sandwich. The description is wagyu pastrami, cheddar cheese, an egg and a mixture of mayonnaise and mustard on a soft sub roll. I say at the counter with my friends. I have to say I was impressed with the friendliness and attention I got from my server on a chaotic day. My server filled my water, checked in frequently and also gave me a to go box. Even though it was quick serve I had more attention than I get at a lot of sit down restaurants. The pastrami sandwich was piled high with meat and had a lot of cheese along with the egg where the creamy yolk spilled onto the sandwich. It was a rush of flavor. I was missing some acid so I asked my server for a dill pickle. In no time I had a thick spear which made a good sandwich great. I purchased a pint of their premium ice cream in the banana bread flavor. I wish I could tell you the brand but it was consumed at home with strawberries and was a really good dessert. I don't know why it took me a year to try this place. The owner is very friendly and stopped by to say hello and make sure I had everything I needed. It was quite empty on our afternoon visit, so we were greeted right away. It seems both workers wanted to talk with us, so we each got a beverage and then reviewed the menu. However, it quickly came upon me that the vibe in this place was off. Wagyu galore in almost every item, and it comes with Kobe beef prices! I get the allure of Kobe and even its much less stringent or regulated cousin, Wagyu; however, it's like the 'Wagyu' hotdog or even the Wontons we tried seem to distort the overall concept. Fried or overcooked items will distort the concept, and in the end, it'll just taste weird or like normal beef, but at way higher prices. Service: I enjoy good service at a restaurant or even a retail store/restaurant concept like this. However, the staff seemed to hover around us this fateful afternoon, and paired with some off-putting music for the setting, it created a strange vibe. Mains: The term Katsu is a Japanese term for any cutlet of meat that is breaded and fried. Maybe the Katsu filet sandwich had been fried at some point, but it was heavily rare (see photos). Now this is Wagyu, so you definitely don't want anything past medium rare here. Overall, it was an interesting dish, but one I probably wouldn't seek out. The Wagyu Philly cheese steak was fairly "meh," as the meat was cooked long and wasn't any better than other places that specialize in cheesesteaks. First off, the decor is super inviting -- clean, cozy, and stylish without being over the top. You immediately get the vibe that you're in for something special. A quick note: nearly everything on the menu is made with or features Wagyu beef in some way. Even better -- they also sell different meats and beverages (including some unique Wagyu options) if you want to recreate the experience at home. Thought that was a nice touch. I didn't realize they had beer and wine until we arrived. Our group had planned to do happy hour before, but -- if you've dealt with Orlando traffic on a Friday at 5 PM, you know how that goes. Their drink selection was solid, and the staff gave us great beer recommendations. Appetizers: First visit, I had the lumpia. Second time, the empanada. The lumpia was super fresh and ended up being my favorite of the two -- though I do wish it came with a sweeter dipping sauce to balance the saltiness. The sauce it came with was a bit too tangy for my taste. Entrees: I got to try both the cheesesteak (first visit) and the burger (second visit), and both were excellent. We added the double meat option for just $6 each time -- I couldn't believe they were offering extra Wagyu for that price. The cheesesteak was surprisingly good -- I wasn't sure how Swiss cheese would work here, but it totally did. Portions were generous, too -- enough for leftovers. The burger was my favorite item overall. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked exactly how I asked. It's stacked high, so don't expect to eat it neatly -- but it's worth every messy bite. I even shared half with a friend who ordered the cheesesteak, and they were shocked by how good it was. Dessert: Even after all that food, we made room for dessert -- and wow. Imagine a cold peach cobbler and a churro having a baby. The flavors were amazing, and the ice cream on top pulled it all together. I remember when this was Hungry Pants! Love the irony of the plant based restaurant becoming a meat market. (They did keep the bathroom decor)! It's a lovely location! On my visit, I ordered the cheeseburger (no butter), which came with fries for a total just under $20. The portion was generous, and the presentation made a strong first impression. Unfortunately, both the fries and the burger patty were overwhelmingly salty--so much so that I could only get through two bites before having to stop. That said, the atmosphere was inviting, the staff attentive, and the overall quality and variety on the menu give me confidence this place is worth another try. After two visits and getting to try a good variety of the menu, I am definitely a fan of Palm Beach Meats! If you're looking for your wagyu beef fix, this is the place to be! They serve both Japanese and Australian wagyu (depending on your preferred price point). I'm not quite ready to splurge on the $100 Japanese A5 wagyu sandwich yet, but the Australian filet katsu was still very tasty! I've also tried the aged wagyu tallow popcorn, wagyu wontons, wagyu lumpia, and the Kurobuta pork katsu sandwich. Don't sleep on the pork! It was super tender and delicious and an underrated menu item in my opinion. I think I prefer the lumpia over the wontons, but they were both super tasty. The staff was so helpful and welcoming! They gave us recommendations and told us about the quality of their ingredients. The inside is clean, well maintained and casual setting. We've driven on that road many times and never noticed the Palm Beach Meats sign or the bright red neon A5 sign in the window. We ordered the Philly cheesesteak and its flavor was insane! We also got the Australian Wagyu filet sando which was also incredible. I'd recommend a side of fries with the sando since it was a bit small. The fries are worth the $5 extra cost. Disclaimer - this is not a cheap meal, but not necessarily expensive for what you're getting - Wagyu. This is one of the few places that provides it, authentically, from solid sources. They have items on the menu that are affordable, but you likely won't be super stuffed here. But, when it comes to the richness of Wagyu, you honestly probably don't want to get too full from it, as I personally get a bit sick after eating too much of something so rich. We went in for their wednesday special, which was essentially steak frites the day we went. Not a horrible deal, a flank cut for $29 with a side of fries, fried in what I can only assume is wagyu beef tallow due to the richness of the flavor. Portions were on the smaller side, but not horrible consider it's still wagyu. Very tender, pretty tasty. We also got the $25 filet sando. Pretty yummy, but be warned, this is going to be rare / medium-rare (the proper way to eat this delicacy). A couple of us ordered this at the table, and I will say the cooking range of our meat varied - some were more rare, while others closer to medium-rare. So consistency is a bit of a problem, esp if you're more queasy towards the "mooing" meat. But I enjoyed it! There was also a complaint that for $25, it would have been nice for a small side to be included, but you had to pay for additional sides. Besides those minor items that prevents a five star in my opinion, this is a great place to get your Wagyu fix. They have a bar, and lots of fun things to try like dessert and apps that utilize the Wagyu / beef tallow. I did not list them or take pictures, but we went with Japanese inspired beer, and soft drink, which were both fantastic! started with the Wagyu wontons, the PBM Wagyu cheeseburger and fries, the Wagyu Chicago hot dog and the Wagyu beef Tapa, appetizer arriving within eight minutes presentation very nice flavor and taste I have to say I was a bit disappointed. I expected more, but it was fine. Within 10 minutes. The first entrée arrived, the cheeseburger next the Beef Tapa and a minute behind that was the Chicago hot dog, we decided to do a tasting, no way we can eat all this food but we wanted to try it! Right when you walk in it's hard not to drool over the meat case with their beautiful selection of meats displayed. We opted for the wontons, Philly cheesesteak with Wagyu and the Chicago dog. The space is lovely and you can choose beer, wine or sake as alcoholic beverages. We opted for some Saratoga and cane sugar cola which was divine. The wontons were the least favorite of the items we got. Our entrees were perfect accompanied with fantastic bread. Unsure of who the bread purveyor is but it's certainly fantastic quality. Both were accompanied with tallow fries and aoili, what's not to love. While we waited for our food (which wasn't too long) we spend our time perusing all the amazing fridge, freezer, pantry, and beverage goods they had in store. To heck with a bite of the sandwich, I ate the whole half, sitting right there in the parking lot!!! The sandwich was sooo smooth and had amazing flavor and the rice bowl was incredible, I'll be wanting this for lunch weekly. I had the A5 Wagyu burger to go. It was perfect. I did feel crazy spending almost $100, but honestly... Merry Christmas to me, it's not every day you get an A5 Wagyu sand. The staff was really nice, and the burger melts in your mouth. I only wish it was slightly bigger, because I wanted to savor it for at least 30 seconds longer. read more

Came from NYC to Orlando and made a beeline from the airport to PBM based on an FB post I saw and have to say this was well worth the effort. We were greeted by Herbie ( sorry if I'm wrong) who was courteous and attentive. We started with the wagyu Wonton swhich were crunchy and delicious. Then the start of the show came out. The burger was juicy and dripping with flavor! Then the great news that they are coming to NYC ext year. Can't wait!! A definite must go to if you come to O-Towm!! read more

Coming into the place, it was interesting. It's supposed to be like a meat deli place, but it kind of felt more like a chill bar place. My friend and I came to this place because we wanted to try quality meat. We asked the server what he recommended. He gave us really good recommendations and gave us idea of what the quality of the food tasted like. Super nice guy! My friend and I both got the Wagyu Philly Cheesesteak. With Japanese A5 wagyu steak. You can definitely taste the a5 quality of the meat biting into the sandwich. But I was expecting more though? The sandwich was good don't get me wrong!
