If this is the standard then this isn't worth going to. Chicken was great but the toast wasn't even toast. Just bread. Feel like this has to be better.

Very first in a Zaxby's place. The place is country, rustic and quite dim for my liking. Had a salad with chicken and hubby had the Signature Club sandwich. Loved the salad; Chicken was good: moist, tender & tasty.

In the battle between Zaxby's and Chi-Fil-A it's hard to say who would come out the winner. I do hope to keep trying to figure it out, with lots and lots of testing. Zaxby's really does have some great Chicken, with lots of nice chicken related meal items. You can get your chicken on bread, or your chicken with bread, or your chicken with chicken.. and Zalads I guess. There are only three shake choices (Vanilla, Strawberry and Chocolate), but they are quite good. If you are looking for a fast food Chicken option, check it out.

The fries were good (but I'm not much of a fan of crinkle cut fries so I'm not going to rave about Zaxby's fries).

Visiting my daughter, I treated them to dinner and this place was within walking distance…read more We ordered cocktails and our food choices were: Spinach dip - underwhelming, lacked flavor. French Onion soup (cup) - the smallest cup of soup I have ever seen, but my daughter found it lacked the deep, rich, meaty flavor synonymous with French Onion soup and left half of it. Fish tacos - fish to tortilla ratio was on point. The fish tacos were well dressed and the cabbage add a nice crunch. This entree was 10x better than those starters. Bam Bam shrimp - had some crispy texture even though covered in the sauce. It was a solid dish and everyone finished it off. Sides- onion rings and fries. These were standard fare. Shrimp scampi flatbread - did not come out hot and quite flabby. We decided the kitchen was having a bad night. The cocktails were fine, so the bartender was having a better night. The service was quite slow but it was a busy night, so understandable as my daughter and I both worked as servers while in college. There is many parking opportunities here as this restaurant is surrounded by other retail stores and restaurants. I included the receipt in my pictures because I want you to know about the "hospitality fee". I find this disturbing practice is increasing. In my opinion, this practice is deceptive. It makes me believe the owners or corporate office is not paying their employees what they are worth. As a former waitress during my younger years, this will only make patrons reduce the waitresses tip if they are not bold enough to have it removed. I did not see this at the time we were finishing up as we were talking and just trying to get out of the restaurant. I did not see it listed on the menu either, although most restaurants that partake in this deception has it listed in very small print somewhere on the menu. I just avoid these restaurants in Vegas - but never thought Mt. Juliet restaurants would adapt such a practice. Lesson learned.

When you walk in, you order to the right, next to the drink cooler. They have a smallish seating area with a bar, plenty of space for a sandwich shop, and a big screen tv that was showing a Back to the Future movie. We ordered: - BLT (Thursday it is the Thursday special and comes with fries and a drink for $12) - Cheesesteak (obviously) with onions, with cheese wiz as the Lord intended - Mozzarella Jawns - I've never heard of that before but they're a very wide, sorta flatish cheese stick. I think they are named after an app from Bar Jawn in Manayunk (a Philadelphia neighborhood). Took it to go. It comes with house made chips and I ate those most of the way home. I'm normally not a fan of house made kettle style chips but these were great! Too salty for my husband but just right for me so your mileage may vary. The hot out of the fryer mozzarella and fries did not fare well on the 12 minute drive home but when I got to the house I popped them in the air fryer and they crisped back up to perfection. My husband had the BLT and he said it was delicious. The bacon was a little more crisp than he does it for himself but that's a personal preference thing. The tomatoes and lettuce were very fresh. As a BLT aficionado, he was a fan. The real star here was the cheesesteak. My husband said "this is better than the cheesesteaks I've had in Philadelphia" and he was not wrong. The meat was cooked perfectly, chopped and tender. Seasoned but not so much that the onions couldn't shine. Onions were browned and lightly softened, not soggy. The bread was delicious, soft and soaked in their homemade cheese wiz. Their cheese wiz? A national treasure. If I could order it by the tub I would and I'd never struggle to get my kids to eat their veggies again. It's that good. The whole thing was a 12/10. I have pictures but they're blurry because I couldn't sit the sandwich down long enough to photograph it so I'll rely on others for that. TL;DR - Go get a cheesesteak.

It would be unfair to describe this sandwich as being close to or nearly like a Philly Cheesesteak…read more THIS IS A PHILLY CHEESESTEAK The Cheesesteak's meat was cut and sliced by the owner. A real deal hoagie roll that does not get soggy but does soak up the juices. I had Provolone but Whiz or sharp cheddar is available (if you must) Totally delicious and satisfying. Took me back to my youth on the South Side Of Philadelphia. The Italian Hoagie is made with real Italian meats - Hot cap, mortadella, salami and pepperoni. The potato chips are cut and fried in tallow by the owner. Same with the shoe string fries. They are worth the trip all by themselves. Tallow....yum. If you eat healthier, there is a chicken salad served as a sandwich or salad that is amazing. The chicken is brined for two days then roasted in-house. Only a Chef/owner who loves what he does would go to that trouble. Huge portions on every item we ordered. I mean HUGE - come hungry to Milestone, leave full. The service was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and airy. If you craze cheesesteaks, hoagies or well made home cooked Deli food- get in your car and drive to Milestone Craft Deli. You can thank me latter

Finally, we arrive at the salad bar and it really does not look as appealing as in the past. The hummus looked dried out and the pasta, broccoli and other cold salads needed filling and stirred. There didn't seem to be anyone attending the salad bar to fill and clean the area. The pasta salad which i normally LOVE was so salty I could not eat it. I never even salted anything. I eat around the pasta salad and picked at the rest of the salad. The mini gingerbread muffins tasted like yesterday's and the corn muffins were so hard you could not bite them. So I had 2 chocolate ice cream cones for lunch. They were good. The manager came by our table and asked how our meal was and I did tell her of my dismay. I rarely get to go to Jason's deli and then I get a salt lick pasta salad. She did give me a free entree card and apologized for the meal. I hope the next meal will be on par for Jason Deli.
