This place is a joke chicken sandwich with fires is $13.06 is this really worth it from my point of weiw no it was to sauce over the chicken sandwich and gave my 12 fires this is why I'm giving y'all a 1 star.

Very excited to have tried this newly opened Canes! I've been to plenty of Canes in other locations and this location is already better than some I've had before! The food was very hot and fresh 10/10. I just obsess over their Cane sauce, it's very unique. I substituted the cole slaw for an extra piece of their Texas toast and it did not disappoint! However, I've heard their cold slaw is good. The outside and inside of this location is very nice. I love the outdoor shaded patio, everyone appeared to be comfortable & enjoying themselves! The line was very long and took a long time but I give grace being this is a new location. The employees were very friendly and took their time ensuring the order was correct! Check out Canes!

This was my first time having raising canes, and I was really excited about it. However, it didn't live up to the hype. The chicken itself was very good. The toast and sauce were decent, but didn't live up to my expectations. The french fries tasted like middle school fries that were microwaved.

So.... I drove up here from north Alabama to do some shopping and saw there was a Raising Canes nearby. I didn't realize till I arrived they were still under construction. Oh well! I have eaten Canes Chicken in Louisiana many many times, and in Hawaii too, so I can only imagine this location will live up to the same level of excellence once it is open! Happy eating!!

So I was a little late to the #canes #caneschicken Chicken Fingers Frenzy. I must say they are good and if I want Chicken Fingers (Strips) they are my pick. All they do is Chicken Fingers so if you want other parts wings, thighs, legs or breast you need to go elsewhere. Chicken is juicy, flavorful and crunchy. Most meals come with slaw, Texas toast and krinkle fries, but the runner up star of the show is the #canessauce you could serve that to me in a Margarita glass and I'd be happy. So if you haven't tried yet I would say give it a try. I love cutting up the chicken and throwing into a salad with veggies and then mixing the sauce with some ranch for a tangy dressing. Toasting the Texas toast and cutting up for croutons. Delish.

Food is great but I cannot wrap my mind around the fact that there is ONE thing on the menu and you will ALWAYS sit in line for 30-45 min.

The take out ordering system is efficient if you want to avoid the occasional line for dine-in (think about popular times for bach parties). The rewards program for take out is decent. A parking lot is available for customers. This location has both indoor and outdoor seating, mainly picnic table style. You'll order at the counter and bring your table number to your seat. Paper towels are at every table. Beverages are abundant: typical soda fountain, lemonade, slushies (spiked even!), local beer (including draft), cocktails, and more. The salad is a new addition to the menu in the last year that is fresh, filling, and tasty. The cornbread croutons are insane! I love when salads have extra protein sources like beans and chicken. No matter your preferences, you have so many options for spice levels and sauces. You can purchase merch like dry rubs or t-shirts at this location.

I made a 4 paragraph review for the will location. Here it is (along with some edits): You should…read morego to Hattie B's Hot Chicken. It's a great place to go to for lunch, always leaving a tingle in the back of your throat long after you've eaten. It comes fresh and fried. It's easy to hold and they season it perfectly. They have six levels of spice, chicken wings, chicken tenders, and chicken sandwiches, grilled or fried. This leaves thirty six options to choose from! Now let's go on to the levels of spice, and which one is optimal for each. Southern, no spice. Not only are you a coward if you get this, but it's HORRIBLE! It takes away all the flavor and leaves it to be as plain as Cane's without the sauce! I urge you to avoid this flavor, especially for your first try. It will leave a bad impression on the restaurant. Mild, self-explanatory. A great flavor, for those who can't handle spice yet don't want the horrid blandness of Southern, I recommend for anyone who thinks medium is too hot. Your face may redden a bit, and cause sweat to roll down your cheeks, but it's worth it, as you leave your belly full of spice. Medium, the best flavor. It's perfect. Mild is mama bear, Hot is papa bear, and medium is juuuuust right for these people. The optimal flavor for the wings, tenders, and sandwiches. I guarantee if you have this, you will come back. I recommend this for first timers and every time. Hot, for the extreme. These are the people who like to go above and beyond, They're pure red, not a hint of the brown that made it mild and southern. Very good! Damn Hot. We're one foot on the line of being too spicy to handle and/or taste good, with the other still in the "normal" territory. I think if you have enough comeback sauce with it it's really good. I've been eating this recently to prepare myself for a sandwich level: Shut.The. Cluck. Up. Be careful. It's dangerous. Proceed with caution. This flavor is a safety hazard. If you have the sandwich here, you may have to be rushed into the hospital. I recommend you try it with a milkshake in hand, tenders in front, and to not touch your face. It's so hot it doesn't even taste good! You must try it. Because you won't know spice until you have it. Then you can brag and brag and brag to all your friends who haven't had it, and truly appreciate the milder flavors. If you know anyone who eats this regularly, stay away from them, they are a madman. Now let's talk about the sauce. This is the greatest sauce I've ever had! Comeback sauce, the sandwiches can't be eaten without it! Great to dip fries, tenders, or wings into. Everything will feel lackluster without it once you've tried it. It's not incredible, it's beyond that. It's a collection of the greatest flavors spread across the universe, no, multiverse. If aliens were to come to Earth, it wouldn't be for cows, it would be for chicken and comeback sauce! I've never had anything like it. Now we have the fries. Crinkle cut. "Dirty Bird Fries." Perfect name. Just, wow. The collection of spices are so grand, magnificent each in their own way. Sometimes they do get too many spices on them, and those specific fries are miserable. Get this over coleslaw or beans. For sure. The service. With 5 people food will come out in 30 minutes. Everyone is happy to be there. Customers and staff. You can sit inside with AC, a patio with fans, or outside with umbrellas, or maybe not, just the mood. Now, this is important, listen closely. They sell their spices! You can go in, grab spice that will last longer than a year for ten bucks. You can get it for each of the flavors (except for damn hot, I don't know why). If you want to make them without heat and with heat, no problem. If you want to have a harmless joke and put "Shut the Cluck up" in a friend's wings, feel free to do so. They'll certainly liven up the mood. It obviously won't be as good as if you sit down, but it'll still be great. In conclusion, go to Hattie B's, the best restaurant in Nashville.

That…read morediscomfort can come in a variety of shapes and if it occurs in Nashville, it's likely to be in the form of ordering hot chicken at an overwhelmingly crazy spice level without fully comprehending what just happened. And what better place to experience such a moment than Hattie B's, a local family fun institution. Started in 2012 by a father and son duo, this is the original location of the establishment despite many other outposts now present through the southern US. Now, back to the spice level. Beyond the standard selections, there are extreme variants like Damn Hot! and Shut the Cluck Up! That's where things get really interesting, because survival instincts always get tested when things are not standard. Those levels are not for the faint of heart. The hot chicken here is legitimately phenomenal regardless of level chosen and the tenders are the most famous cut. The pimento Mac and cheese and the bacon grits are not to be missed as sides. Maybe, just maybe, what separates Hattie B's is the mom and pop feeling of the establishment despite becoming ridiculously popular with tourists. The people taking orders are so nice and enjoy a conversation despite the massive line. All around, Hattie B's hits the spot.

Once at the counter, it was fast and easy to place orders, customized to your preference, and then pay and find a seat. We chose to sit out on the covered deck that was sealed up to avoid the elements. It did rain lightly while we ate, so it was nice to be protected and cozy while still enjoying the outdoors. Food was brought to the table and we all agreed the chicken and various sides were delicious. Everything was seasoned well, and hot items were hot and cold items were cold. Counter staff and food runners were all friendly and efficient. Noise level was mild to moderate and temperature was doable after the rain shower. Will be glad to return when visiting Nashville again to repeat order the chicken and also try new menu side items.

The little bread bite things they're known for are SWEET in flavor. I wish we'd have known that, because I am (perhaps in the minority) of folks who detest sweet breads with savory foods. It's very off-putting and reminds me of the one time I went to Jim & Nicks back in college when they had sweet rolls they served before their meal. Not my taste. Overall, it was not a terrible experience, but for the price paid, nothing we'd write home about, and no where we'd go again.

I guess it was too cold for the locals, with a high of only 20 degrees, so the place wasn't very busy at all during my visit. I ordered on the kiosk at the front counter - while ordering is somewhat impersonal, the employees are also available to answer any questions. They quoted twenty minutes, but it took 25. A lot of the reviews state that this place is take-out only. This is no longer the case. There's a large seating area with plenty of tables to choose from. Classic Dark, Spark Plug ($10.99) - This meal includes a thigh/drumstick quarter, fried to perfection, dry rubbed with seasoning, then doused in cayenne oil. The dish looks mean coming to the table given the fiery dark red color, but at Spark Plug, level 3 of 6 spicy, it's not too bad at all, equivalent to about a medium spicy at other places. It's enough to elicit just a bit of sweat from me, warming the mouth and throat as the spices hit. It's not nearly spicy enough to be overwhelming, nor does the heat cover up any notes from the Nashville hot spices. This mixture has just a tiny hint of sweetness, but is mostly salty, heavily peppery, and earthy and smoky. There's a bit of an anise-like quality as well. Some older reviews mention that the chicken tastes too heavily of cumin, but I didn't get that feeling at all. I do feel like the chicken isn't brined at all, so while the exterior is flavorful, the interior tastes somewhat bland, other than a mild natural chicken flavor. The breading is thinner on top and more craggly on the bottom. The skin isn't completely rendered so it helps adhere the breading to the chicken, preventing large swaths of breading from detaching. It has a nice hearty crunch. The chicken inside is moist, flowing with juices. Since it's on the lower end of fry times (still cooked through), the meat isn't able to detach from the bone that well. I actually had a lot of trouble trying to detach the drum from the thigh due to the cartilage still firmly adhering the bones together. It's definitely more of a two handed fried chicken, so prepare to get all fingers dirty. (4/5) The chicken comes with a slice of bread and some pickles on the side, as is traditional. There's more oil soaked into the bread for a medium compared to what I remember from other places. In fact, some parts of the bread were completely soaked through and turned into mush. I don't feel as if the spice level is higher than a normal medium from somewhere else though. The chicken also comes with one side, of which I went with the Green Chili Mac & Cheese. The green chile definitely isn't as fresh as what could be found in New Mexico. It's rather vegetal and contributes somewhat of a bitter note to the mac & cheese which I didn't find to be that pleasant. The cheese sauce is thinner, but still creamy. It's not overly salted. The mac is cooked until very soft, but not to the point of being mushy. Apparently they are known for this side, which is why I ordered it, but I found it to be somewhat underwhelming in both flavor and texture. (3/5) I had some food left over at the end of the meal and decided to do a direct comparison against the other two places I visited this time around (Prince's and Red's). Heating the chicken up in an air fryer and eating them side by side with the other hot chickens, I found Pepperfire to be the blandest in taste and the least spicy. I'm honestly kind of disappointed in Pepperfire. It's still above average hot chicken, but it pales in comparison to other places around Nashville (heck, I've had much better hot chicken outside of Nashville). I was waffling a bit between giving a 3 or a 4, but ultimately decided to go higher. Bathrooms - Single unisex room

The restaurant is simple and people probably will easily pass by. They do have a dining area after you make your order on the kiosk. Even though I was putting my order in myself, the employee was friendly and offered recommendations for me. I ordered the Tenders Hot Chicken Sandwich ($11.99) at Spark Plug heat level. I enjoy spicy, but didn't want to lose taste in my mouth. Quite frankly, I think I could've gone more spicy though but was still very satisfied. I also chose the Green Chili Mac and Cheese to pair with it and added an extra Pepperfired Okra ($4) on the side too. My order was ready within 5 minutes and I was on my way. The hot chicken sandwich was so thick, flavorful, and juicy. You would think that the thigh would be juicier than the tenders, but they really know what they're doing here. It was no question that this sandwich beats Hattie B's, which I also had at the same time. On the other hand, the mac and cheese was a bit lackluster. It could be cheesier and more flavorful. Despite that, I'd come back just for the hot chicken sandwich again. Unfortunately, it's a bit out of the way to come here if you're staying near downtown Nashville though. It's definitely more of a locals spot, but so good!

As I entered, one thing struck me - the price. Why is everything so affordable? Could it be good at this price? As I pondered the menu, I saw multiple people waiting, or pre-order and walk in to pick up. All of these people looked local. Made me feel better. Eventually, due to stomach size, I ended up ordering a hot chicken tender and a fried catfish. Staff asked me how hot I'd like it, and I mentioned, as an Asian, I can generally do spicy. He took it as a challenge. I may have mentioned the chicken I had before which was good but for "hot" it wasn't hot. If you want to do a spicy challenge, THIS IS THE PLACE. The hot chicken was HOT. I'm not sure if its a Carolina Reaper or what, but the spicy was borderline painful when the chicken was still hot, then much more bareable when the meat cooled down. Like magic. The fried catfish was the best catfish I've had in my life. IN. MY. LIFE. Batter was crispy and perfectly fried. Fish was melt-in-your-mouth soft. NO muddy flavors. Absolutely amazing.
