This zaxbys food service, taste and quantity has really gone down when it used to be one of the best. Went in on June 6, 2025 and placed on order over $30.00. Gayla G. took order and could not get $5.00 off $20.00 order to come off and management was busy. Look like with trainees. Then in each order the amount of fries was minimal and I ask why and she said they now have to weigh their fries before placing in order. I of them had 7 fries which I rool pictures of and will be sending to home office. The fries were undercooked, the toast was barely crispy, and I had to order another fry to have enough. When I got home I had to retoast toast and recook fries. So could not enjoy all items at one time. Fraudulent on $5.00 off coupon. Go somewhere else. Have not been back since to a place I usually go to a lot. Left word for someone to get back with me but still no reply. read more

They gave us our food perfectly fine but when it was time to pay, we gave them a 50 dollar bill and she gave our change back, when we drove off and we were already home, we don't live in the Macon area anymore, we realized the 20$ change back bill she gave us was FAKE. read more

Our first time ever to Zaxby's. The Snax Pax meal was okay, but my grilled chicken breast sandwich was terrible! The strangest chicken meat ever! I thought it was part raw bc the texture was rubbery and gristly. But it wasn't pink inside! It was fully cooked. Just same weird SUPER PROCESSED chicken!! I couldn't eat it. We came in with 49 people today while traveling to Tennessee from Florida. We called before we came and they were very accommodating and were able to take our orders before we made it. The food was ready when we came in and they had enough sitting for us all. They served us with a smile. One of our members left her cell phone at the restaurant and we didn't notice it until we were far away. The manager was very accommodating and said she would mail the phone back to Florida for her. So much for southern hospitality, the employees could not care less. I get it, I have also worked in a drive thru restaurant. Sometimes we just have those days. But the gal taking our order was just not having it today. She gave me quite the RBF while I was pouring my drink from the gross and broken machine. The machine's ice lever was still dispensing ice even after the user stops pushing it. Hence a gallon ziploc bag's worth of ice clogging up the dispensing cavity. Then when you hit the button to pour the drink of choice, it would only spirt out a little bit of drink, so you'd have to repeatedly hit the button for it to fill a small cup. Only for you to discover the nasty drink station, dried up soda stains of beverages past. I ordered a Mr. Beast Box, which I've had before at a location in Kentucky and had no issues. The fries were cold and over seasoned on one side and not at all on the others. Not to mention there just weren't very many. The cheese curds were good size and the chicken tenders were hot. I dislike being negative but I hope this might generate some improvement in the location. read more

Well. Second visit to a Zaxbys in two weeks. Same experience. Food is darn good. Restaurant is poor at best. Eatonton no ice no ketchup and not one clean table. Macon about the same. Most tables need to be cleaned. Shoes stick to floor. No soap in bathroom. Table was sticky also. read more

I am pissed!! I should NOT have to turn around to get hot food and the order that I paid for. The Cajun club chicken was cold the fries were also cold, and no lettuce and tomatoes on my sandwich. I got hot fries the second time, but a Cajun sandwich without lettuce. The guy fixing my sandwich had a major attitude. On our way home from Florida, we stopped in after a friend told us about Zaxby's. My husband and I both tried the chicken finger sandwich. We don't typically eat much fast food, but we were in a hurry and didn't want to stop to dine in somewhere. The sandwich was decent. It wasn't impressive; just your typical fast food style sandwich (chic-fil-a is much better). However, the sauce was very good! The fries were the 'crinkle cut' variety. The service here is absolutely HORRIBLE!! The cashier was hateful from the moment we walked in the door. We told her to 'have a nice day' and she rolled her eyes at us. Where's the southern hospitality? I do NOT recommend this place and won't be returning on future trips! read more

Hit or miss when it comes to this place. Tonight 4.12.18 730pm was a F-ing disaster. Line wrapped around building for drive-thru so decided to go in. Stand at counter for 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledges me. Order a salad and gallon of tea. Wait atleast 20 minutes. Salad is bagged up but no tea. The girl at the register who took my order (Alexis H.)instead of making the gallon while I was waiting on my food chose to instead stand there and talk to one of her friends over the counter the entire time. I tell the person who handed me my food I ordered tea. I then have to wait 10 more minutes while she makes it....there was no tea even made. I finally get out of there, bring it home, sit out on the back porch to enjoy . I take a bite , look down and there is the biggest , nappiest black hair I've ever seen right there in my salad. i just went to my local zaxbys literally 2 minutes down the road. we go through the drive through and order. once we come out the drive through the order was wrong so we took it back inside to have it remade, had to wait another 45 minutes before they ever started remaking it, and the whole time the manger was standing there making comments like "oh well they can wait" horrible horrible fucking experience. stay away from zaxbys in hartley bridge road!!! read more

Possibly the most rude staff out of all the fast food restaurants in this area. We purchased two nibblerz meals, one which was fine and the other lacked Zaxby's sauce. The one that was fine had sauce on both sides of the chicken within the bun. The other had the tiniest amount of sauce on one side of each sandwich. I explained what happened to the girl at the counter and asked if I could get some extra sauce. She told me it would be .25 cents and I asked her why when they shorted me and she said they just don't come with a lot of sauce. She was rude the entire conversation and unwilling to help when they shorted me. read more
