My husband loves Zaxby's but this one in particular is always missing something from what we ordered and we have to go back inside to get it. We have also tried to go inside and they take a long time to give you the order and it's hard to find a clean table, since no one comes to clean them. read more

Worst experience ever. My boyfriend and I sat there for 45-60 minutes and never got their food. They were so focused on the people in the drive through that they didn't care about the other paying customers in the dining room. The employees made eye contact with us and did nothing. My boyfriend and I had to leave to go back to our jobs without EVER getting our food. Never going here again. Would not recommend. No manager stepped in to help with the situation. Generally I like Zaxby's, but this particularly one I wouldn't recommend. The first time we went they didn't have any soda machines working. The second time we went we did the drive-through and waited in the drive-through for 45 minutes just to get up to order and be told they were taking no more orders and we were sent away. Zaxby's was always one of my favourite fast food wing spots when I lived in Tallahassee so I was very excited to be going past one on my drive back home today to South Florida. Like, "I cut across from the leftmost lane on the highway to make it off the exit on the right" excited (there were no cars behind me lol)! I was even more excited that they opened at 10:00 a.m! Sadly this visit was a little disappointing. How is it that the restaurant opens at 10:00 a.m. and at 10:08 my order of boneless wings and Texas toast are both cold. I mean cold and they taste like they've been sitting for a while. There is ZERO warmth coming from the Box. To note, I opened it right in the parking lot after I picked it up from the window. But honestly after having been on the road for the past 10 hours driving I don't even feel inclined to go back to the window and ask to have it re done. I'm new to town and just moved to Live Oak so I've only had the pleasure of visiting Zaxby's a couple times. However, both times were a good experience. Going through the drive thru was quick and simple. They spoke very nice and made me feel welcomed with kind tones, words and smiles. Love this chain and we've missed it! The chicken tenders are that ideal combo of breading to chicken ratio that makes it tasty! I like beading, but it's definitely not all I want to taste, and this place always has it right! Service was good and food came out fast. It's been a while since I gave Zaxby's a chance after a poor visit a while ago. It just wasn't that good I'm afraid. The wings were dried out and rubbery and just coated in sauce. The fingers were okay but if that's what you're after I'd recommend Raising Cane's instead. The sandwich was also okay but just that, no better. Even the fries were just bland lacking and taste. Our visit to this restaurant was decent. We ordered the platter that comes with both wings and tenders, along with a generous side of seasoned fries that are nice and crisp to the touch. Stopped in in the way to Orlando. The grilled chicken Cobb salad was fresh, crisp and yummy. My husband and mother had the chicken finger plate. The chicken tenders were crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. The coleslaw was fresh. The cleanliness was as expected as at a Zaxby's- clean. I always get exceptional service when I eat at this Zaxby's, and the food is usually up-to-par, too. The drive-thru has given me multiple bad experiences with mixed up orders, but it is made up for with the friendliness of the employees.
