We were driving from Panama City Beach to Jacksonville and decided to stop here for lunch today. When we arrived at 1 o'clock the place was completely full. We got a high top table in the bar area. Our server came over and took our order after a minute or two. The menu has plenty of options. I ordered a cowboy steak salad and my husband ordered a burger. Took 9 min for someone to come to our table. Full service bar but couldn't make a mud slide, no frozen margaritas I just opted for a soda. My dining companion got the surf and turf. The steak was uncooked and when we mentioned it to the waitress, she said oh sorry about that. Didn't take it away. Didn't offer to take it off of our bill. Nothing. The french fries I had requested to be well done were still soggy and undercooked The main part of my dinner the Dubliner was delicious. We never got salt or pepper or napkins on our table. Many years ago I went to beefs in Lake City Florida and when they wanted to charge me $1 for a piece of cheese, I crossed them off my list of future visits. Then they opened one in Live Oak Florida where I live and I decided one afternoon to give them another shot. It was Friday and the fish and chips were the special of the day, I was stoked! They brought it out to me and the fish was still frozen on the inside so I sent it back. 10-15 minutes later they bring me another serving and guess what? The fish was frozen on the inside! I had it and was going to pay for the beer that I drank and the manager stopped me and asked me to let her try and fix this issue. She decided to give me Swai instead of Pollock. I was familiar with Swai so I agreed to stay. After multiple attempts to get it right, I finally ate my dinner and paid the check. I won't be back but I appreciate the boss stepping in to get me what I paid for. I did take care of my server as this wasn't her fault but I'm done with O' Brady's. read more

Found this cute place the other night and ordered Philly steak Sammy and my bf a burger with frys.. it was quiet good! We came to trivia night and the guy working made it sooo fun! We were greeted right away by a nice lady who asked if we had any preference where to sit. She seated us in a booth with torn but taped seats. Our server introduced herself and asked if we would like drinks. We both ordered the special for Friday which was fish and chips with coleslaw. It said malt vinegar upon request which i did. Our orders came but not the malt vinegar also we had no silverware. We waited but our server never came back. We asked another server if he could send our server over. After a few minutes our server came and said nothing but put the malt vinegar on the table. I stopped her and asked for silverware. She promptly brought some. The fish and chips were both really good. We got the curly fish. I did not care for the coleslaw. Our server asked if I wanted another beer and I said yes. She brought me one with the check, so we felt rushed. This is a pub style place with lots of tvs showing sports of different kinds. We thought we'd eat and have a few beers before walking back to our room but since we were presented with the check we decided to leave. The service was the worst service I've ever experienced. The waiter was very disrespectful as she never said "Hi how your doing" and simply said "what u want to drink" in a very grumpy and disrespectful tone. Later, the waiter asked what we wanted to eat. Worse meal I ever had. Ordered the Fish and Shrimp from the $10.00 menu and I couldn't even eat it. The fish was floating in grease and there was so much grease in the bottom of the basket that the fries were lying in a pool of grease. You walk in and are immediately greeted (barely) by ms. attitude herself of a hostess. The only thing that gave this 2 stars was that our server was friendly and actually good at her job, she should work somewhere better. We ordered the steak nachos and they came out too quickly. About half way through we get some rotten tasting steak, like they mixed the old with the new, but it was too late to complain, and we're really not the people who send food back. We don't normally eat at BO'B but the dining options in Live Oak are limited. Stopped in on a Sunday evening, seated quickly. Good menu options, we went for the 2 for $20, Fish & Chips and Grilled Shrimp. We started with the Onion Rings, they came out quick. Food followed shortly after. The Grilled Shrimp was the highlight the rest was middle of the road. The rice was crunchy and dry, the server offered a replacement and brought out a burnt baked potato. Service was good. read more

First time ever visiting a Beef of Brady's. I stumbled across this location, while I was stopped getting fuel off of Interstate 10. I searched Yelp and decided to give it a shot, due to the reviews. The location is easy to find and over all appearance is inviting. Upon arrival, there was the immediate notice of lack of enough staff members. This was reflected in the service and the timely fashion of order taking and receiving of the food. We ordered an appetizer that never found its way to the table. Now I can live without that, but when the entrees arrived that's when the meal ending situation began. We had ordered basic food. Reuban Sandwich with a side salad. Sandwich came out, minus salad. Once again, no major issue. Once we notified waitress she went to receive side salad. We also had ordered a BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries. The burger came out it looked great. Except for hair that was attached to hamburger meat. I unfortunately won't be visiting that location again, due to not living anywhere near there. But it looks like it could be a great place, with some more supportive staff members. (I also never once saw anyone resembling a manager) The three team members I saw working, seemed to be over worked and taking multi tasking to new level. read more

After traveling for an extended period I probably would get better customer service from the McDonalds or Taco Bell down the street. The waitress spilled a drink all over my dress and I had to offer to move to another table so she could clean up the mess, she didn't even think to do this, another waitress came by and said that we should sit at another table then she gave us the opportunity to move, strike 1. I understand that mistakes happen but the Manager should have came by the table to personally apologize and made sure everything was okay. I didn't want to ruin the mood at the table so I tried to make the best of this. After the meal I personally went to the Manager to tell her that as an act of good customer service she should have been by our table to check on us or offer a complimentary item or discount my meal. She told me that she wasn't aware of the situation and that was a blatant lie. She was told and choose to do absolutely nothing. Word to the owner: Good customer service travels and people will continue to visit the establishment. If the Manager would have made a slight effort and did SOMETHING I would have left this alone. I travel quite frequently and I am in a position where I have the opportunity to network with people from all over the world. Went there with a party of 10 tonight after my grandfather's viewing. The waitress came through to refill 3 waters at the table from a cup and after taking a big gulp my dad realized the she had refilled it with bleach. My dad was coughing and hacking and nearly threw up. The waitress came back and explained the other girl working had filled the cup with bleach water to clean the soda taps. She was just kinda like "my bad" with no offer of a comp or discount or even another fountain drink for free after nearly poisoning a third of our party. My husband's filly and my tacos hardly had any meat. And to culminate the evening we were charged for a soda we didn't order. Very clean, friendly, really good pub food. Bartender Nick was fast and friendly. He was training Brittany who made a good Cosmopolitan. She offered me three vodkas, I chose Belvedere, only $5.50! We also took advantage of the two for one glasses of wine during happy hour. Manager Melissa stopped by to ask if our steak and pork chop were cooked to order, they were, and very juicy too. I did not have a good experience at Beef O'Brady's. It seemed like a nice place with lots of locals. I ordered the roast beef garlic melt minus the onions. When I got it, sure enough onions are all through the melted cheese. Okay, I was in a rush but I sent it back. It came out 5 minutes later, it was clear this was the same sandwich with a new piece of bread and cheese with the onions removed (or so they thought). In biting the first sandwich, I spit up part of the sandwich when I bit into raw onions back onto the sandwich. They did not catch that and sure enough my new sandwich had my spit up "old" sandwich in it. I also found remnants of the onion in the melted cheese. The fries by this point were ice cold. So I asked to have it removed and they did. One of my pet peeves is when a restaurant clearly messes up and they try to reuse the food to be cheap. I like Beef O'Bradys as a chain, and I enjoy their food, but I will not be returning to the Live Oak location. read more
