I was skeptical at first of a Chinese and Country fusion buffet, but I was pleasantly surprised. The country food offerings include fried chicken, fried Catfish, fried shrimp, Macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, black eyed peas and more. For the Chinese food they have egg rolls, fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, egg drop sour, a variety of sushi and more. The bill for 4 of us and 4 drinks was $66, which I think is a good price. The servers were friendly, but didn't really keep an eye on our table and we had to flag her down to get refills. Rating from F to A+++ I would give it an A++. read more

This is a wonderful Buffet, very family oriented. With the country side of the restaurant it has a lot of things that the little ones will like. Mashed potatoes, fried chicken, meatloaf, vegetables, etc.. and then the Asian side is absolutely wonderful. It even has sushi and a salad bar. My partner and I spent a month living on a farm outside of Live Oak, Florida and this restaurant was our go to spot whenever we came into town. First, the concept is fairly unique, with country style and Chinese dishes offered side-by-side, but the food is incredibly tasty and they regularly change up the options. Second, it's pretty inexpensive, especially considering what you get. Third, there really aren't that many places in Live Oak to get a decent meal. Even after we left the area, we still pop in whenever we are passing through on the interstate. Everything on the buffet lacked a temperature--the hot dishes were lukewarm, as were the cold dishes. I watched staff take old pans of lukewarm food and dump them on top of fresh pans of food, then stir it around together. There is no de or to speak of, and the buffet options are about a third of what a good buffet serves. Do yourself a favor and LOOK at the buffet before you pay. NASTY, SO NASTY. read more

I am 49 years old and in all those years I have never tasted such disgusting food in a restaurant. It was so bad I would not even go back for a free meal, never again. Completely wasted my money, unable to eat more than 1 bite of anything, lost my apatite and nearly puked in the parking lot on my way out to the car, my son was also had the same experience, waste of $40, would have preferred to eat nothing or maybe find some food out of a dumpster, it probably would have tasted better, staff yelled at my son for asking where forks were because he didn't see them on the table. This marriage of two cuisines was more like a mixture of two types of food, good and bad. Unfortunately, mostly bad. The collard greens and stewed cabbage were brilliant, and the green beans were good. None of the meat was especially edible. Our favorite was the cat dog on a stick. The restaurant appeared to be Asian owned and operated, but we figured Billy Bob was in the kitchen wearing an old trucker cap, making those collards. Free ice cream, all you can eat. This is a great Chinese buffet, I've been to it multiple times and me and my girlfriend went there twice this week alone. The food is hot, they offer disposable gloves as well as hand sanitizer before you grab a plate and get to dining. It's a buffet, it's as quick as ordering your drink, they give you the drink, you get your food. So let's talk about the food- if it's not nearing the end of the pan and needing replacement it's hot every time we go there! Fusion is a twist on both Southern meals and Chinese-American meals, let's begin with the Southern cuisine, the baked chicken is a favorite of mine. It's unfortunately pretty dry but the flavor is great. The chicken legs are pretty small so it's a great portion to put the chicken on your palette and still have room for items. The corn on the cob is hot, well-cooked, just needs some salt and pepper or however you like it. The Mac and Cheese is cheesy, it's okay. It doesn't have much seasoning to it but it's still delicious and has great texture. Mashed potatoes are great. I love their rice and gravy. The food is good, maybe even great for a buffet and that's what you want at a buffet. Pretty much everything I've said about the Southern food can be said about the Chinese food, the lo mein, crab salad type stuff, rangoon is meh; not the greatest.. it's a buffet. It's good but I tend not to expect the best food in the world at a buffet. P.s. if you're reading this, try the yams. They're the best dessert there. read more

Also their location right off I-10 was awesome as we where driving from Louisiana to Orlando and we needed something that all in our party could eat (we be Asian). Wait staff were friendly and nice. Here's the scoop. It may be been strange having black-eyed peas next to lo mein noodles, but it was good!! There were many food choices but it was cold and the Southern food was bland. Terribly disappointing. The fresh fruit was out of season and cake desert was dry. I guess they also have a one fork policy because I asked for another so I can attempt to eat a piece of cake and the server told me I had to use my dirty one. Would never go again, I went to take husband for his birthday dinner, we were impressed by all the photos on the yelp review, thinking when we got there there would be all these kinds of food. There were only two bars. One bar was half sushi, have desserts. Peaches looked very discolored, inedible, we didn't even eat dessert. Dinner bar was half chinese half country, very limited choices as compared to the photos. Fried chicken was cold, no white rice. Stir fry beef was hard to chew. No shrimp or seafood. We were sad as we paid $40 bucks for this, we should have just left, but we had already started putting food on our plates. For a birthday meal it was very sad. Please don't let the photos deceive you. They don't offer all these foods all the time, they apparently only offer certain foods on certain days.
