We have always been treated courteously at this Zaxby's. Yes. It does take a bit longer but that is no different than other Zaxby's locations. I love getting their blackened blue salad. The ingredients are always fresh and the taste is delicious. They have done a great job during the COVID 19 time. The line has been long and slow but we have learned to call ahead and order. Then they bring it out to you. This is by far our favorite fast food restaurant in Hartwell. read more

This spot can't even spell sauce much less give you any of the sauce you order. Like how you order extra sauce at the window and they still forget your damn sauce?Also who eats a salad with no damn dressing like we aren't rabbits how you forget dressing for a salad? I originally gave this place a higher rating given the trouble they were working through with the pandemic but quality has consistently declined To the point of being just a miserable experience. The chicken fingers have become half the size while the menu price has steadily increased which makes no sense given that you aren't paying nearly the employees you were at the start of this mess. Tonight we tried again and you failed us again and it's so disappointing because we can't get anyone to hardly answer the phone and I'm not sitting through that long line again just to complain and have no recourse. I'm so dissatisfied and disappointed with the service tonight. I ordered a ten piece wing in insane sauce, something I get every time I come to your restaurant. Tonight, again, I asked for extra sauce and what I got is I the photos. There's hardly any sauce on the wings at all. Barely any and most of the wings have no sauce at all. My son had boneless honey mustard wings and he had the same problem. Why is it that I sit in a line and pay you good money to fulfill an order with the expectation of quality and you just absolutely do not care about the customers and you continue to do this. You have lost our business after tonight. Your food and service are sub par and certainly not worth the money you charge when all you do is mess up our order and deliver over cooked, half covered wings. Shame on you all. Guthrie's just came to town so I guess we will be going there from now on or to Blazers but certainly not back to you. I realize your business model is make money and hose the customers every chance you get but I'm done with you. I hope others read this and stay away like the plague until you begin to train your people and treat the customers on whom you rely with the respect they deserve. This place needs some improvement. 90% of the time either I'm missing items, or the food is just bad quality. I'm talking the frys or toast is burned. Stuff is cold. Staff is busy running their mouths instead of making sure you get what you paid for. The cashier hands me a drink with the lid half way on and it spills everywhere. There are like guidelines you follow to cook food and they do not follow them. Im writing this review because I need to vent. I've never been to a restaurant that is a miss 90% of the time for quality. I keep going expecting different results but they are consistent in producing below quality food and service. I'd rather drive to lavonia for chic fila. Just a warning to anyone who reads the reviews before visiting, save yourself a trip of absolute dissapointment and go elsewhere. read more

Never remembers my extra zax sauce. I could kill the chicken myself, and make my kickin chicken sandwich meal quicker than they can.

Online order placed, I waited 20 minutes before going to pick up and stil had to wait 10 minutes. I assumed the propose of online ordering was for quick pickup. I was wrong, you may as well go to the drive thru. read more

The people working here are teens who are too busy playing or sitting on their butt than to actually do their job. This is by far the worst Zazbys I've been to. The order is almost always wrong and the service is so freaking slow. If you try to fix your order they'll get upset and indignant. We've spoken to the manager on several occasions and we only got sarcasm back. The drive through workers either can't hear with faulty equipment or they just don't listen. We always have to repeat our order 2 or 3 times before they get it and the order is still wrong when we get the food! They just don't care here. read more

First off, I love Zaxby's. I eat at the 28 bypass store in Anderson, SC several times a month, and am always satisfied. This store in Hartwell, GA, however, is the worst. The first time I visited a couple months ago, the service was slow, the food was cold, and the dining room was filthy. I realize that staff often changes at these places, so I gave it another try last night. Big mistake! The server was very rude. Our simple order took 20 minutes to be prepared, and when we finally got it, the chicken was cold and dry, and so were the fries. It honestly tasted like it had been cooked hours before we arrived.
