My issue is more of a general issue with the burgers now versus the burgers in the past. Wendy's used to have the best burgers out there, in my mind. The patties were fresh tasting and big enough to hang off the bun. They were also juicy enough that you had to wrap the burger in napkins just to eat it, something like Five Guys burgers now. It was great! I don't know what happened to them through the years, but the burgers are now dry and form fitted to the bun. No napkins needed to eat it now. They taste more like cardboard. I assume they just went with the flow of other businesses and started to buy the cheapest ingredients possible. Not sure. It used to be a treat to eat a Wendy's burger. Now, not so much.
