A decent but not great Zaxby's location. I don't know what to expect from Zaxby's actually - they are all over the place from location to location. Greensboro has a few locations with much worse service but the service here isn't what I would call good: it's functional and inoffensive. I feel like most Zaxby's don't have any grown ups working on several shifts which I think explains the service you get. The food here is also the most okay of all the Zaxby's we've tried in the local area. There is nothing wrong with it, it just isn't the best you can get from a Zaxby's. This location is close to my house and Zaxby's is better food than McDonalds or Wendy's so we come here a fair amount anyway. Ordering online is pretty easy and they typically get the order right - although I still don't know how many sides of fries are supposed to come with the family meal because it's different every time at every location. read more

This location is close to my home so I downloaded the app and headed in. I wanted a small but filling dinner and was pleased with the service I received upon arrival. The inside appeared to have only a couple of diners and very little foot traffic. However, the drive-thru line did fill up quickly. I decided to go inside upon placing my order online. No trash on any of the tables and clean booths/tables were visible. I did not use the restrooms during this visit. The self-serve beverage area could use attention to the organization of cup lids and straws. The drink machine was clean. The standalone water dispenser was down at that time. I was greeted immediately and my order was taken care of in a matter of 8 minutes or less. My order included tenders, fries, & toast. The drive-thru line was still at a standstill when I left. At this time, they are offering special deals to download the app and in turn, I received my meal at no cost. A great deal in my opinion! I would return to this location. read more

Absolutely love this place. I always order online and it's always ready when I arrive. The portions are so large that my son and I can typically share one meal and have another for the next day. They put one strip of bacon on the loaded fries that cost 9 dollars consistently and never have "dark soda" I finally asked after a month of hearing the same thing and they said they don't know when they'll have it. Went to Xaxbys for lunch, drive thru was fast, young lady at the window was very pleasant. I got home and took my salad out and my hand was covered in oil, looked inside the bag and there was an excessive amount which had to come from the fried pickle container. This is a new Zaxby's location that just opened not too long ago. It's nice and clean, but kinda hidden behind the McDonalds & Smithfield BBQ. Good option for fast food chicken stuff, everything's chicken. Chicken sandwiches, wings, tenders and salads mainly. I usually get the boneless wings when I get the urge to stop at Zaxby's, they are breaded fried chunks of chicken breast doused in whatever sauce you choose. It does not matter if you order online or at the restaurant it will take at least 20 minutes. I have tried both the drive through and going in to get my order and never have it ready in under 20 minutes. Multiple times things were left out or forgotten with my order. Worse experience ever! Waited almost 15 minutes for a salad, the Blue Buffaloed. My daughter orded the same thing. I got mine but they cancelled my daughter's order after paying for it herself. My salad was awful! They just poured hot sauce all over the salad, or should I say dumped! Other Zaxby's toss the chicken in the sauce them put it on top. Not here. My daughter finally got her salad, 20 minutes later. They thought it was a duplicate. How did you think it was a duplicate when the order was taken by the same person? I placed an online order as Zaxby's promotes. I arrive and the pick up window is closed. i go inside and let them know I have an online order. At least 10 customers walk in after me and are served while I am waiting for my on line order. When asked why the delay, 2 different servers say I cannot say. In essence the manager told them to move on line orders to the back and serve all others first. One gentleman came in after me and asked if I did online ordering. I love Zaxbys in general but this store often disappoints me. The food is high and I get the simplest orders. Just about EVERY SINGE TIME I have their toast, whether it's complimentary with a meal or I pay the extra 59 cents for it, it's not consistently fresh or buttered well. It pisses me off to no end because the toast is my favorite part. At this particular location they move the drive thru quickly, but they're not as friendly as they could be. In the drive thru, I always feel rushed and like they have an attitude with me for checking my food before I pull off. They're also stingy with the sauce. First time we've ever been to a Zaxby's. They took our order and while we were waiting 2 gentlemen came in and stood waiting to take their order. The younger girl working walked by looked at both of them and just went back to cleaning the trays. The men had been standing there now for some mins waiting but after this they decided to leave. She wasn't friendly nor did she even smile or seem to want to be at work. We had been standing there waiting for our order for about 20 mins before the manager came and asked if we were still waiting for our food and we replied with yes. He realized our ticket was sitting and hadn't been made but we had seen many orders for the drive through go. He apologized and said they didn't know it was on that side. Took them 5 mins to make it after that. A simple stop on our travels turned into a very disappointing first visit. I hope they improve this for the future.
