    Grilled chicken sandwich meal
    Nikia C.

Location: 2/5 Parking: 4/5 Outside appearance: 3/5 Inside appearance: -/5 Hospitality: 2/5 Food: 3/5 Price: 3/5 I went to Zaxby's and ordered the grilled chicken sandwich meal. I opened the sandwich & the chicken looked good but there was very little lettuce. And it was shredded! I prefer a whole lead of lettuce & not shredded piece. Fries were warm at best but not hot & crispy. I removed the chicken & I only at that. The Sprite drink was good! Service & speed was horrible.

For all things chicken this is the chain to hit. Sandwiches, salads, chicken strips and bone in wings too. The place is brand spankin new so came by to help break it in. I had teriyaki wings with fries which came with a drink and celery sticks and a side of ranch dressing. The wings were crispy, but on the small side. I visited a location in another state a number of years ago and the wings were huge. Guess those days are gone. The fries were crispy and covered with a heavy heaping of seasoned salt. I'd ask for them salt free next time as it was overkill for me. They have one of those Coke freestyle machines, which is cool because there's so many flavors to choose from. Diet Raspberry Ginger Ale?! The employees are super friendly. Everything is made to order so it's not super fast, but that's okay. I'd probably give it another go if I'm in the neighborhood.

The location seemed to be clean and well kept from the outside. There wasn't much of a line in the drive through so I decided to take my chances. Once My husband placed our order. He ordered the honey butter& bacon sandwich. They informed us that they were out of bacon but they could still make the sandwich just no bacon on it. In total the wait was not bad but there was only one other car in the driveway with us. Overall the experience could have been much better.

First time ever giving a review, waited 50 minutes for my food in the drive through. Unacceptable.

Small and very clean, almost hole in the wall kind of place in an old shopping center in a…read moreresidential neighborhood. Arabic music playing. Service is very friendly, and as quick as possible, considering that stuff seems to be made to order. I ordered a chicken kebab platter which comes over a bed of basmati rice, possibly with saffron. Whatever the rice tasted great and it wasn't dry like at a lot of places. The chicken was marinated in a tangy yogurt-spice mix, grilled and topped with a tahini sauce. Delicious! As sides I got mujadara and roasted vegetables which were also tasty. I'll be back for takeout for sure in the future.

"Bodega-like Mediterranean Grill & Grocery in Parkwood area of Durham"…read more This place is WAY off the beaten path for most, but I'm so happy to have gotten to try it out. Nestled in a little strip between a Muslim school and a mosque is this grill and grocery. We came on a Wednesday evening, and almost every table was already taken by diners. You order your food at a counter, and it has the Middle Eastern foods you'd expect-- kofta, shawarma, gyros, falafel, baba ghanouj, hummus, baklava, etc. I opted for the lamb gyro sandwich with a side of baba ghanouj, and my dining partner had the falafel sandwich. They call your number when it's ready. Food took maybe 10 minutes to receive, so we browsed the market area. It's not a huge selection, but very traditional-- nice seeing so many labels in Arabic, and along with standards (e.g., canned fava beans for Ful Medames), they also had things like frozen chopped mulukhiyah leaves-- that's definitely a rarer sight. Lots of good spices too. The food was EXCELLENT. The lamb was juicy and perfect (unlike what another Yelp review said), the tzatziki sauce was delicious, and the baba ghanouj was perfectly cooked and textured. I had a small bite of the falafel, and it was indeed one of the best I've had in the US. Price was fair, too-- the sandwiches are all under $10 before tax and tip, and making it a combo with side and drink cost just something like $2.50. And service was friendly-- although they called out numbers, they did walk out with the food to try to find and bring you your dishes. And while it was an older space, it was overall still generally clean. Overall, I'd VERY happily come back.

I had the Italian Panini with avocado (the avocado is an extra charge), and it was absolutely delicious. I also tried the La Poire dessert, and it was so good. It wasn't overly sweet or too rich, just very natural and perfectly balanced. We came on a Friday around 1 PM and even though there were about 10 people ahead of us, the line moved smoothly and there was plenty of seating both inside and outside. The customer service was top notch, and the staff was very welcoming. We'll definitely be visiting again. Also... whoever the guy is with the bracelets, black hair, glasses, and accent, he definitely added a little extra charm to the experience aka very very attractive.

I think this was an Italian bakery...and it had a truly sensational selection of pastry items, some which were quite arty and unique!! They were also somewhat pricey...but I wanted to try so many. I ended up trying this dessert called "The Fun Guy". It looked like a Mushroom, but inside, it was just heavenly bliss! (I included a pic with all the ingredients inside) Truly, it ranks as one of the best desserts I've had in a LONG time. That's saying a lot, given how I go to bakeries a LOT! I will say, however, that their Iced Latte, wasn't that great. Still, for the bakery selection, I'll be happy to return here any day!
