I like Zaby's in Cordele Ga. The Food is always Good . I have never taken anything back for any reason . I come here pretty often . My Favorites are the Cobb Salad. I wish whoever in Corporate took away the Mediterranean Salad Dressing could realize what a mistake they made . I'm sure others would agree too. I might just have to cop this and send it to them . Service is always good , everyone is friendly and busy . I usually get my order for takeout because I like ordering on line and I don't live very far away . It's just convenient for me . Ordered a fried blue zalad. Nothing listed on the menu board or mentioned by the cashier that the chicken was drowned in a very spicy buffalo sauce. Discovered it only after we opened the meal in our hotel room. Called the store and asked for them to refund the meal as it was way too spicy to eat. Manager said he could only do so if we brought the receipt back in even though they could see the order and the name the order was placed under. We were driving a big truck and weren't going back out after being on the road for several hours. They said a manager would be in by 8 am the next morning and he could process a refund for us. We delayed our departure for a 7 hour drive to be there shortly after 8 am but no one was there. Food wasn't edible and no one in the store could come up with a fairly simple solution. We ended up paying $10.69 plus tax for a meal we threw away. Don't see any reason to go back there again. read more

My friends were boasting about this place throughout our entire road trip and I had never tried it. They stated that the chicken here is "better than Chic Fil A" and I can confirm to you that it is NOT. The chicken here is ok but there are plenty of chicken establishments that do just as well or better. I ordered the boneless buffalo wings meal with French fries and a drink. The boneless wings are a little more tender than the one's at Chili's. They're pretty good but they're not amazing! This is just another fast food chicken place that does chicken "alright". The fried mushrooms as a side order were pretty good. I've never had that so that was worth the try. Zaxby's is decently priced and not a bad place but there's nothing special about it either. Well went back to Zaxbies tonight Ordered 1 ea. 4 finger, 5 finger, 6 finger plate. The 5 finger w/ double fry no slaw that part was right but all 3 plates had 4 fingers. The other 2 plates, One was right and one wrong. Which people would worry more about doing there jobs right. It wouldn't be that big a deal if you were charged for the wrong meal, but when you pay the higher price it matters. Was there at 6:27, took the food home, found it to be wrong. We ordered here and we did not receive our sauces just one ranch with our 2 plates. We went inside and asked for the sauces that were missing and they got offensive and said that they put them in the bag. They didn't want to give us our sauces even after we told them we would pay for it since it was SUCH a hassle for them and even then we didn't get our sauce. Last 2 times I have been here they tell me someone has called and canceled the order, talk to management about it and they say that online order can not be canceled by phone. If you have been stuck in traffic for ages, and your GPS reroutes you in a round about way and you end up in Cordele, GA...Zaxby's was a good fast lunch before getting back on the interstate. We had never been to a Zaxby's before, so while I know it is a chain, I have nothing to compare this visit to. It was a busy place, the entire time we were there, but the service was pretty fast. The location is good for travel. I'd be willing to try another Zaxby's if I was looking for something out on the road. read more

This is the worst franchise. I run a business and if you are applying for a job and have Zaxbys as a work reference, you are wasting your time applying for work at my store. I went through the drive-thru when it was slow and still waited 25 minutes, then they had the nerve to tell me to pull up and wait. I didn't order anything special, just a club sandwich meal. This Zaxbys is terrible. I ordered 5 meals, each with a drink. While I ordered, the guy taking my order cut me off multiple times, told me the wrong total for my order, and had an irritated attitude due to my large order. When I got to the window to take my food, the worker gave me only 4 drinks and got the sauces wrong on one of my orders. When I went to eat the food at home, there was no seasoning on the fries and they were soggy. The chicken tenders were maybe 2 inches long-- they were basically nuggets. There was absolutely no butter on the toast. I asked for 4 extra ranch packets and they gave me zero. Finally, there were 5 slices of onions in my Chicken Finger Plate Meal. Like does Zaxbys even have onions? Where did they get onions from?The employees and employers of this Zaxbys literally should not even get the privilege of calling this restaurant a Zaxbys. Decent fried chicken joint when you're on the go. Got the wings and strips platter with a drink and it came out to about $10 Only came with 3 wimpy wings which was disappointing. Got the hottest sauce for the wings they got which wasn't as 'nuclear' as its called. Comes with buttered toast, fries and some slivers of celery. People raved about the sauce but it's nothing to call home about. Comparable to Raising Canes. Interior was nice and clean and they had those soda machines where you could customize flavors so that's a plus. Wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again but everything tastes good enough. read more

I stopped into Zaxby's last week for a quick snack, I got fried pickles.. They were cooked in old grease, and dropped way too long.. They weren't edible. I contacted Zaxby's, and today I received a call from this location. I was told by the manager that he'd been sent there to basically "clean things up" and make this location better. He apologized for my bad experience. I will give it another shot in a few weeks when he's had time to make the place better. read more

Good for a Zaxbys (which means great for fast food). Always has very clean bathrooms and very fast service. They time the wait in the drive thru to ensure it is fast. Very consistent food and srrvice. read more

I cannot believe we drove by a Chick-fil-a for this! Sandwiches were awful, buns old, bacon soggy, chicken over-cooked. The fries were covered with season salt and were cold and limp. The chicken strips were the best thing we ordered but honestly, they were tasteless. Sauces were not good. Got Teriyaki sauce which was very syrupy and dark and tasted like thick strong soy sauce. Sweet and spicy was ok not fabulous. Lesson learned: stick with what you love, in my case, Zaxbys was no competition for Chick-fil-a. Thought we would give it a try! Epic fail! read more

It's overpriced for what you get and the young girls serving you here are more concerned with laughing and playing with each other than serving customers. I ordered a 6 finger plate and only got five when I got home. Spent 14$ on food and when I ask for one extra sauce I was told it was a charge. This place was so nicely decorated but it was filthy. There was filth on all of the tables and the walls, food left on the floor, and it was 3:00 in the afternoon and only a couple tables occupied. There were plenty of employees to clean the dining area up but they didn't, and hadn't in some time it looked like. The restaurant looked fairly new but was as filthy as a 30 year old Taco Bell. We got 7 meals and the fries were decent but my traditional wings were cold as soon as I got them, and not like cold because I waited to eat them, cold like they were not cooked all the way. We brought them back and asked them to please heat them more and they gave me a new plate. Everything was steaming and I ate most of the fries and most of the wings and got to a wing on the bottom and it was cold like it came from a refrigerator again. Not sure how that works. No one else complained about their food but they were kids so I'm not sure they cared. It's just a shame that a restaurant that someone obviously invested so much in has been ruined by managers that don't make their employees clean or cook the food all the way through. read more
