A pleasant surprise when I walked in and not knowing what to expect. I was passing through on a trip and wanted a good Mexican meal. I would compare to a Chipotle to give you an idea of what Surcheros is like. The counter helped me with my choice and did an excellent job. Great Experience! Very clean! Staff was super helpful and polite (it was our first time). Food was yummy and cooked just right. Portions are huge, some come with an empty stomach. Tortilla chips were light and warm. Don't forget to check out the salsa bar. We had never heard of Surcheros, but will definitely stop in if we travel through the area again. read more

Visited this location multiple times, last visit was disappointing. Everything was fresh and great except for the rice. It was really mushy and off putting to eat (I got a bowl). Food and service can be a little inconsistent depending on who is working, but please fix the rice issue, I don't think anyone wants mushy soft rice and I couldn't eat my bowl because of it. read more

This review is for the new Midland Ga location. They recently had a grand opening, and realistically, it's just a Moe's. It new clean but nothing worth rushing to. I ordered a grilled and it was barely warm. So I see it as another cafeteria set up similar to Moe's and chains like those. read more

Stumbled upon Surcheros on our way to Florida. I wanted something other than the usual fast food chain. We'd never heard of Surcheros before but at first glance, it looked like a Moe's or Chipotle. Similar menu and same ordering process as well. We were greeted by two pleasant young ladies upon entering. My guys ordered burritos and I a veggie burrito bowl. It came loaded with rice, black beans, spinach, salad mix, pico, corn, guac, etc. The ingredients were fresh and the flavor was good. My son loved his burrito and my husband said his was alright. The space was clean and the staff wore masks and gloves. However, we found it a bit odd that they used their hands (gloves on) to scoop/grab rice, beans and other ingredients. Maybe we're being picky, but it didn't sit well with us. Most places use serving utensils for scooping ingredients. Made us wonder what else they do with the same gloves. Anyway, I'm glad to see a fairly healthy option for travelers. read more

Heading North on 75, saw a sign with Sucheros on it and hunger woke up. Located in strip mall, unassuming, clean, bright, familiar "walk down the counter with my order" style dining with bright friendly staff ( thanks Hayden! Great job!!) All staff was refreshingly friendly and positive! Busy at 1 pm when I was there. Just under $15 fir loaded bowl upgraded with steak, chips and soda. Expected it to be good but this was Vastly superior to the competitions bowls. Great veggie, tender flavorful steak; I had to take a break from "woofing" it down! Bravo. Ummmmm they don't charge for guacamole!!! enough said! Say less! lol - but no, on top of that, it's literally better than Willys in Atlanta, any Moes, and Chipotle combined! And they have a fresh salsa bar that would put Rubio's in San Diego to shame. Don't walk, RUN to this place and mention my review. I wish I could rate this place, but when I went to order the staff was extremely unhelpful. I asked for an allergy menu and the woman looked at me like I was crazy. She asked another employee but he was seemingly more annoyed by the request. They ended up giving me a regular menu with no allergens listed. So, I asked if they had something with specific allergies as the one they gave was a menu. She said she was sorry and that was all they had. Every other place I've ever been at least acted like they cared what my allergy was. I can't chance it, so we left. read more

I have been to this location multiple times and mistakes were made, but they were small so we gave them more chances. However, i ordered online for my family tonight. I didn't receive any chips that came with my meal. I didn't receive guacamole that I ordered. I did receive a small cheese dip that I didn't order, but the lid was not secure in the top so it spilled all over my car. When I called and asked for a refund for the items I didn't receive, I was told that I had to come in and receive store credit that they could not refund me over the phone, even though they had my card information since it was an online order. The food tastes good, but if you want what you order and you want decent service, find another business. read more

My hubby and I travel this way often headed to Florida. We have always seen the big billboard signs on the highway. Finally got the chance to stop in. We ordered the chicken burrito with chips, quac, and cheese on the side. The medium salsa was awesome. That's about it: just no real flavor in the chicken or melted side of cheese. Don't let the big billboards fool you!! I cannot speak for the other items on their menu, but we will never waste our time there again. I gave them 3 stars because the place was clean and the food was hot. The staff was nice and helpful. Just rating the food, they would have gotten one star in terms of flavor. read more

Food was very good. Kinda like Chipotle but with more choices & toppings. We ordered the chicken quesadilla, chicken bowl, beef tacos, and chicken burrito. No leftovers. How do you grab a mop and broom handle (which are filthy) and then use the same gloves to grab the veggies to make my food. I mentioned it but the young persons response was - I didn't use them. I'm sure they don't clean the handles on their moos and brooms so it's unsanitary. Also cashier didn't wash her hands before stuffing the iced tea pouch into the holder to make more iced tea. Cleanliness is more important now then ever before. Food was good but had to ask them to remake it. I just couldn't eat that food made w dirty gloves. read more
