I have no idea why the corporation will charge you more for asking extra, then the employees don't even give you what you paid for. I asked for extra grilled chicken as the app allows but when I get the product, it's just the normal amount of FRIED chicken they give on a salad. Like Zaxbys, are you doing that bad that you literally gotta steal my money and not give me the product I bought?? Everyone, just go to the Buddy's BBQ down the road. I don't really like to leave bad reviews, but honestly the workers don't have a good idea of what they are doing. Our drink order was a complete mess, they couldn't give us the right drinks and we were missing some, in the end we still ended up with the wrong drinks. As for the food the completely forgot an entire order, I get we should have checked before leaving but we already had a mess with the drink and were in a hurry. Overall the experience was awful and genuinely disappointing. p.s. since we payed in cash and couldn't go back we didn't end u getting neither the money back nor a reimbursement. read more

My second time ever eating at a Zaxby's and I loved it just as much as I did the first time. I love the crinkle seasoned fries dipped in Zaxby Sauce. We ordered chicken fingers for everyone to share and they were great. The breading is light and crispy while the chicken is juicy and tender. There are so many sauce options. One was sweet and just slightly spicy and it was so good! I ordered a Zaxby original I think it's called. It was supposed to just have Zaxby sauce, pickles and chicken but they forgot the pickles. I think it was just as good without pickles but next time I'll be sure to go back and ask for the pickles. If you ever see a Zaxby's don't pass it up! read more

We ate at Zaxby's a couple times on our last road trip last year and my 10 year old loved it. She couldn't wait until we were down south enough to eat at Zaxby's again. We arrived mid-afternoon to a clean and somewhat full restaurant. We ordered our late lunch/early dinner and took a seat. The girl who took our order was super sweet and we had a super funny exchange that became one of our running jokes during our road trip (who can understand my Chicago accent??). Our food arrived in a timely manner and our order was correct. Everything was good and my only complaint is that they were out of sweet tea. I love Zaxby's sweet tea so that was kind of a bummer. I stopped here on a trip down I-75 and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this "fast food" style restaurant. Friendly service, clean tables, a nice family-friendly atmosphere and great food combined for a wonderful experience. The salads were so fresh and flavorful that they didn't even need dressing. My only nitpick - the hot wing sauces have slightly misleading names. The 'Tongue-Torch' "hot" sauce was closer to mild/medium than hot, but still had a nice flavor. The menu had a few sauces that are supposedly hotter, so if you like spicy, I'd try one of those instead. read more

Zaxbys - Fast Food Near Me - Clinton, Tennessee

Zaxby's is a national chain fast food chicken restaurant based/founded in Georgia. I have many family members in the south and have eaten at Zaxby's several times. This particular Zaxby's is a fairly new restaurant located adjacent to interstate 75 north of Knoxville, TN. The building style is common among most Zaxby's I have visited. I ordered the Kickin Chikin, which is 3 fried chicken fingers drizzled with a medium buffalo sauce as well as ranch, fries, fried pickles, and a sweet tea. Now Zaxby's is well known for their tea, both unsweet and sweet. It is not uncommon to see several people walk in and order just a tea whilst you are awaiting your food. This location was not any different. Two different patrons ordered just a large sweet tea when I was there. The tea has an increadible flavor and perfectly sweetened (at least for my taste). Zaxby's offers many different types of sauces. I am not a huge fan of most buffalo sauces so I substituted my buffalo sauce for a Sweet and Spicy sauce (similar to an Asian Zing type sauce) and kept the Ranch drizzle as well. The chicken seems of good qualitly, and the melding of the two sauces works well with the fried chicken. Overall I would rate my buffalo sauce substitution as a good choice, but if you are a Buffalo fan I would suggest trying it as it comes. The fries are also very good. They are crinkle-cut and make sure to ask them to make you fresh, because cold crinkle-cut fries or any fries for that matter dramatically lessons the experience. They also shake some kind of spice or seasoning on the fries. It isn't a Lawry's seasoning, but similiar. i imagine it's a company concocted mix but delicious none-the-less. And the last think I ordered was fried pickles. Fried pickles are a souther delicacy. They take thinly sliced pickles, batter them and fry them quickly. I have had fried pickles at many different restaurants and the ones here are pretty good. Not the best, but not average. I'd order them again with no hesitation. and at less than a couple bucks well worth the price in my mind. I really have no complaints with Zaxby's or this particular location in general. If I had to nit-pick i would complain about the fact that if you want extra dipping sauces they charge you $.25 per sauce, but even McDonalds does that nowadays, so it isn't unexpected. Disgusting place just off the freeway. Super sticky floors, unclean toilets and idiots posing as staff. Long wait times with orders not all coming out at the same time. Concrete floors ensure that the toddlers screaming echos all throughout the barn like building. This is a great example of minimum wage. No-one seems to give a rip, didn't see a manager the entire time we were there. Don't forget food smashed into the floors and under the booths along with sticky tables. I would give this place zero stars if I could. read more

My first time at Zaxbys was enjoyable. After only hearing stuff about their chicken salads and them being a southern chain, I wasnt sure what to expect. A bit pricier than regular fast food, but better quality as well. Order at the counter and wait for your number to be called. I hate the styrofoam type cups they have tho. However, Fried cheese curds were amazing. I ordered the wings ans things which came with wings and chicken fingers, bread and fries. Fries are big thick crinkle fries. Wings were pretty good, I enjoyed the cook and sauce but they could have made them wetter. I got original sauce which has 2 flames by it but it wasnt hot at all. Hubby had the cajun club. Which looked great. Food came out in a decent time for it being chicken. Ill try them again when i run across one. read more

We stopped at this location on our way down 75 as we love Zaxby's, however this location was so dirty that after walking past 7 tables looking for a clean one we decided just to clean our own so that we could sit down. It then took about 10 minutes for 2 salads to come up, on a Monday at 3pm. Next time we will drive a few exits south to another location. read more

This place is totally inconsistent. The food, when it's prepared right, is very good. It's my favorite local place for wings. Both the traditional an boneless wings are good. The food, should you actually get what you ordered is pretty good, but the staff here is horrible. Rare is the time that I ever get my order in a timely manner. And rarer still is it ever right. Most of the times they cant even get it right that I want my order to go. On a good day, I could easily give this place 4 stars. But, there has been too many long waits, too many wrong orders and too many orders served half cold or with other problems. This place is a real disappointment and I can't possibly recommend it until they fix the staffing issues. read more

We have been comimg here for years but this last visit was very disappointing. My wife and I both ordered the wings and things. The fries were old, the toast was cold, the celery was placed underneath the hot food, and the wings had no sauce on them. My wife asked them to remake the food, and the wings had no sauce still, the fries had no salt, and worst of all my chicken was bloody. I told the cashier and showed her, to which she responded "thanks!" and then walked off to goof around. read more
