Wanted the greatness of Zaxby's, sadly this is the closest one from Las Vegas. We get to Zaxby's with a smile on our faces. The cashier's attitude was a little off but hey it could be the end of a long day, no harm, no foul. Food comes out pretty quickly, not bad. We were eating there but the order was in to go bags. Meh, nothing to be mad about. I will say the drink machine, being that it was a Coke freestyle machine lack many choices, like Sprite. That still would ruin the great tongue torch flavor of my wings. As we are eating our goodness a large table left, sitting was a challenge as there was not many tables. Now the table that got up, table was not wiped down or cleaned in any sort of way and a family had to sit at smaller tables in groups because the table was left dirty, quite some time has elapsed since the group left the table dirty. Washed my hands in the bathroom, water was left on at the sink, witty Zaxby's definitions on the wall and the place was somewhat clean, I mean it wasn't trashed. Now I order a meal to go because I wanted to take full advantage since we drive out here just for Zaxby's, the young lady that takes the orders is just surly. As we are leaving to put our trash in the bins, every single one is over flowing. Garbage is now falling to the floor. Would I say this a bad review, no. This a a nice zaxby's. Very clean and incredibly nice staff. They were pretty backed up for the line to order and it took forever. It was only one girl. I won't knock any stars off for that. That's poor scheduling or moving someone to help take orders. Knocked off two stars because they forgot my salad dressing for our to go order, the chicken wasn't that great, the cheese bites are not as good as they use to be, Texas toast isn't even Texas toast anymore; it's super small and doesn't taste as good and lastly I've never been to a zaxby's that didn't have milkshakes. But since It had been over 2years since we were near a Zaxby's and we had never had a bad experience while traveling in the South we gave it a try. We ordered some fried potato chips, chicken finger sandwich with fries, chicken wing combo with fries and buttered toast. Everything we ordered were pretty good. It's almost a cross between Raising Canes and PBC Chicken. They have their own sauces...several of them for your chicken. They carry several sauces for your wings like Buffalo Wild Wing does. The staff were pretty nice and friendly. Extra sauce cost 25¢ each. The sweet tea was good, not too sweet. The carry Coke drinks. Overall, I would go back there to eat again. The salads they have looks really good. I gave it a "4 Star" because the food was good but it didn't "wow" me, just mediocre. read more
