Brittany I.

I came through the drive thru on a Sunday afternoon with my family of 8. The food was hot, accurate, and delicious. Staff was very quick and friendly. The facility looked to be very clean from the outside. It was an overall good experience. I would recommend and return. The only negative remark that I have is that the fries lacked the typical seasoning utilized by other Zazby locations leaving the fries to be pretty bland.

Would give zero stars if it was available. The last 5 times I have gone here through the drive thru I have been shorted items in my bag. They are too busy slamming the window and saying have a good day. Caught it all the times but this one. Missing kids grilled cheese and they gave me a box with actually 5 fries in the box. No grill cheese. Every single time I have been missing a sandwich, fries, etc. This place is a mess. Update: Have tried calling now for over a hour and half. No answer. They have taken the phone off the hook. Wow

We were greeted immediately upon entering. Everyone was nice. *Patio is cool with the large tree growing in the middle of it. * All 3 of us got a variation of the jerked chicken. * Jerked chicken tostadas were just flavorful and delicious. *Calypso nachos with the jerked chicken, the pineapple paired well and just good nachos. *Pac-rim salad with jerked chicken, big serving and a nice crunch with the cabbage Cole slaw paired with a peanut vinaigrette and the jerked chicken. Delicious. * Our serve was attentive but not over burdening. Checked in, was super pleasant, just darn right nice. *Chocolate bread pudding was recommend and it was moist and warm with a good scoop of vanilla ice cream. The caramel drizzle was the highlight for me. What could of been better: *A me thing for nachos, when piled high the bottom gets soggy before you can enjoy them. Great visit, want to come back and try some other items.

I actually ended up going there twice this week- once for lunch and once for dinner. For lunch I had their Bombay chicken salad where the chicken is curried and on top of a cabbage slaw with a bright citrus vinaigrette. 3 small pieces of flatbread accompanied the salad along with a Fruit chutney that tasted like apple pie. I ordered an additional side of flatbread which came warm and was quite good with the chutney. The curry chicken is outstanding so I was tempted to have it for dinner later that week but decided to try their Bahamian curry which was excellent- a bowl of rice with curried chicken, sweet potato and kale. My husband had the special which was Mahi mahi Marsala and he raved about it. If that is on the menu next time I will definitely get it. The restaurant knows how to spice their food so definitely check it out. They do not take reservations but turnover seems to be pretty quick particularly at lunch.

We explained how many people we had 5 with one more joining us. Just stared at us and looked confused. Said we could sit at the bar. The place was mostly empty. Asked again about seating and she seemed lost. A member of party asked if we could sit there, and pointed and the hostess states " I guess so" it was the weirdest interaction I have ever had with a hostess. She seemed lost. We were debating whether we should even stay. Overall we enjoyed the visit once we got past the door. Will give them another chance

Still, a steady flow of traffic so we proceeded to enter and order. We ordered 13 pc fried jumbo shrimp and 5 pc wings. The food was served hot and crispy. The shrimp didn't come with cocktail sauce so we requested. The wings came with a side of hot wing sauce which was good. The wings themselves didn't have much taste without the sauce. The fries were also not good. Try to upgrade to other sides. With that said, there was a man who said he's a regular and always orders fried fish. So maybe we just ordered the wrong items. The food was 3 stars, ambiance was 2 stars.

They do a lot of takeout, but we decided to "dine in". Food is served in takeout containers. It's located behind the gas station but not far off the interstate (I-95). We were hungry when we stopped so everything sounded great and we couldn't decide what to order. We wound up getting their 3-item platter. The items we chose were chicken livers, fish, and fried oysters. We got the fried flounder (a dollar more) although we'd wanted snapper -- it's too expensive now and not included per the gal taking our order. It didn't take long for our food to be ready. It came out in a big aluminum tray. And we requested tartar and cocktail sauces. They also gave us some ranch and blue cheese. The portion was huge!!! The only problem was that they gave us scallops instead of oysters. When we pointed that out, they gave us a side of fried oysters in addition. My husband said the oysters were some of the best he'd had. The fried flounder fish -- there were two large fillets -- was so light and flaky. The fish was my favorite. The chicken livers were good also. And the plate also came with a ton of crinkle cut fries. We did have leftovers. And we said we'd certainly stop here again. Prices were reasonable for the quantities and quality. Just don't stand on ceremony -- it's a down home, very basic, local kind of place.

This…read moreyear we're in town closer to New Year's and thankfully, we were able to try Maggie Mae's in downtown Brunswick. This definitely appears to be a popular place with locals because most people are greeted by name as they enter the restaurant. I was greeted with a smile and a good morning as soon as I entered the restaurant. They gave me a menu and told that I could sit anywhere I would like. The server was very friendly and relatively attentive. The dining room is adequately filled with six large larger tables and a number of smaller ones that are perfect for two people. They also have four picnic tables outside. They serve breakfast and lunch all day. Yelp shows that they're open until 3 PM, but the menu shows 7 AM to 2 PM Monday through Friday, and the grill is turned off at 1:30 PM. I decided to try their ham and cheese omelette. The menu shows a peace symbol next to the best selling items. The omelette comes with hashbrowns or grits and your choice of toast. The server suggested raisin toast or the biscuit. I typically do not order biscuits because they tend to be dry. Their biscuit was surprisingly good. It was sliced in half and grilled on both sides. It tasted soft and moist after applying butter and strawberry jam. Similar to the biscuit, the ham and cheese omelette was also really good. It was loaded with ham and there was possibly a little more ham than cheese. Overall, I had a positive experience. The food tasted great, and the service felt personable and exemplified southern hospitality. I would definitely consider returning, and I would recommend Maggie Mae's to others Cheers

Maggie Mae's look fun and it was. Food: a unique, toasted Cuban sans mustard with a heap of tater tots. Also tasty egg salad with pasta salad. Both with water. All good. Ambiance: this is a local oasis with a wide breakfast and lunch menu, including soup of the day. Sandwiches are specialities but we hate to have missed breakfast. Not opulent but a hometown feel you can't import. Service. Perfect. From ordering to delivery to a quick "hey" from the boss. We'll go again when in the area.

Tipsy McSway's is open until 10 PM and the kitchen stops taking orders at 9 PM. After looking over the menu, I decided to try the Brunswick stack sandwich. I had hoped to try the tomato bisque soup as my side, but unfortunately, they only serve chili, not soup, on Mondays. So instead, I ordered the fried potato salad as my side, and it was surprisingly delicious. It comes with small diced potatoes in a warm savory mustard sauce. When I originally asked the bartender what he recommended, he mentioned the Brunswick stack sandwich as well as the smash burgers. While the sandwich was good, I would probably try one of the burgers next time. Nevertheless, I would definitely get the fried potato salad again. The next time I'm in the area, I would definitely consider returning to Tipsy McSway's and I would recommend it to others as well. Cheers

To start when I pulled up to the place I was so impressed with the incredible vibe of the outside. Beautiful plants. Awesome fountain. Vibrant paint. Just beautiful!! Then you walk in and I was taken back by how beautiful the inside was too. Amazing wood work. Homemade drinks to the left. Great menu straight ahead and then some of the nicest staff I've ever met. I hadn't eaten all day so I was really hungry. I talked with the staff and had them pick me out their two best sandwiches. The beef and the chicken (can't remember the menu names lol) and then got a cup of chili! All of it was amazing!!
