I've had consistently poor experiences at this restaurant. Every time I place my order ahead of my arrival, I'm always left waiting. Even when I finally receive my order, it's often wrong, with items missing or cold. Don't bother with curbside pickup because they're unwilling to walk it out to you. You'll end up sitting there for 30 minutes, waiting for someone to come and get your food. They seem to follow the McDonald method of "I don't want to make a milkshake for you," so there's always an "issue" with the machine. If the machine does work, they'll give you the milkshake but make you wait so you can deliver it home by the time you can bring it back. And when you're waiting in line and forget you moved forward, they'll use the excuse "it's being made" without checking after multiple cars behind you got their food. You ordered 20 minutes before them! I'll definitely be going to another location in the opposite direction. At least there, they'll be polite and make sure I get what I ordered. read more

My order for a Cobb Salad was taken @ around 9:06 only to get to the window & be told that we are out of salads for the the night. I knew upon arrival that Zaxby's closed @ 9:30 but for my order to taken & then be told that what I ordered is out after the fact is ridiculous. If there was an issue I should've been told upon ordering. read more

I'll play along with the common theme of the other reviews. We sat in the drive thru for 25 minutes to get our food. It's Zaxby's, and they're all about the same as food taste and quality, so I'll skip that. We drove home, about 20 minutes from the restaurant to discover they shorted me food and gave my wife the wrong order. When we called, the excuse from the MOD was the text book "we are training new people". They must have about a 70% turnover rate because they are always training new people?!? I do not recommend the Zaxby's in Barnesville, Ga. Go to Big Chic. read more

Updated review. On my third visit since they opened. Updating my review to 4 stars from 2. They are exactly what you would expect from a Zaxbys. Chalking up my initial bad experience to them just opening. Slow! Went in for a take out order. Exactly 25 minutes from time of order to getting food, with two others waiting on orders and no one in line. Food was slightly below average for a Zaxby's. Maybe that are still getting going, it is a new store. Will give them one more chance in the future before I make my final judgement. read more

Great place to have in Barnesville. Good food and prices are not bad. Their atmosphere is inviting.

I'll start of saying that I LOVE Zaxby's. This one is awful. I came to town in July to visit family, and was super excited to eat here. My dad and brother had never been to Zaxby's before, and their first experience was the cooks forgetting to make our order, waiting 30 minutes to get our food, with which I had to go to the counter to ask for it, and as a consolation for our wait, we got 3 cookies. I'll keep going to Big Chic instead. read more

I honestly wish I didn't have to give a star! Because today has been the worst service in my history of restaurant ever!!! It took over 30 minutes to get our food. We had customers who ordered after us get our food and leave! After I send my boyfriend up to see what was going on with our order, nobody acknowledged he was there, even had their backs turned away from him! about 5 minutes later, after he asked how much longer, the young lady turned away AGAIN, mind you, and never answered him! At this point it is getting late and my 4 year old son just kept saying he was hungry, but guess what, you guessed it, still no food. I called my boyfriend back asked what the problem was, explained everything I just saw, I got up and told them how I felt. I was shaking mad!! I got a refund and will NEVER be back again!!! The cashiers and cooks at this location SO friendly and more than accommodating to my sometimes strange requests (small wings... no seasoning on fries). Sometimes they are busy - as fast food places get at lunch time - and or seem to be handling a number of catering orders and large online orders... in which case, I am patient and understanding. Unfortunately, every time I stop at this location these workers seem to be dealing with some sort of crazy entitled person (for example, just today someone in front of me during the lunch rush requested that all of their toast be on the side of their order... okay? ‍ and then told the employees to not give him a "wimpy" salad as if to imply he wanted them to give him two salads in one bowl - they gave him a perfectly adequate Zalad made to corporate standards and he still found a reason to complain... you just can't satisfy some people). Mostly I just feel bad with what these workers have to put up with. Still one of my favorite Zaxby's in the area! The dining area is large and accommodates bigger groups. Generally well kept parking lot and facilities. The owners/operators and catering manager are friendly and courteous as well! read more

I went to this Zaxby's tonight I ordered 2 grilled cobbs salads I asked for 2 extra ranch dressing and PAID for the extra dressing. After I placed my order in the drive thru the cashier asked me how I wanted it prepared. I told her I wanted 2 grilled Cobb salads with 6 ranch dressing. It was obvious she wasn't paying attention. When I got home ready to eat there was NO dressing at all for our salads. When I called to make a complaint was hung up on twice. How can you eat a salad without any dressing? read more

Today was the first day that they were open to the public and my boys wanted to go. I on the other hand was not so thrilled. You know new restaurant, tons of people, long line, waiting for food. All these things I don't do well with. I am very pleased to say that this Zaxby's was on point! Yes, there was a line and a lot of people but, they kept the line moving. We did not have to wait very long for our meals, everything was exactly the way we'd asked for it and nice and hot! I ordered the Zax snack which is 3 tenders and crinkle cut fries. My boys had club sandwiches with fries. We shared some cheddar bites. Everything tasted good. Oh and they have the free style coke machine too. read more
