I can't even leave a 1 star for the $70 that we spent on this garbage. Cold chicken, flooded with cold sauce, old lettuce and dirty tables. Save your money and go home for a peanut butter and jelly read more

Zaxbys - Old lettuce - Chicken Wings Near Me - Asheville, North Carolina

Zaxby's is the best chicken place that I have ever been. There service is great and they have a drive through too.

This place absolutely needs new management and workers. The costumer service is terrible! All I did was ask for a grilled chicken house salad, the people preparing my order of course give me fried chicken, the tomato has a literal odor to it! I asked for a Zax sauce for my meal and they charged me 1.50$?!?! Do NOT go to this zaxbys unless you want your food fucked up read more

Service is horrible, we're also rude. Was a hair on my food, dry chicken, fries were under cooked. Place was dirty, floors looked like they weren't swept in days. read more

Zaxbys - ultimate fries - Chicken Wings Near Me - Asheville, North Carolina

Still the best chicken finger deal in town! 10 pc. Box for $10.49 Oh yeah! Must have that savings if you plan to buy gas next door!

The food is okay, it has been variable with each visit in portion size, ingredients and service. The sad part is they stopped serving Caesar Salads, which means I will never go again since that is all my wife would eat from their menu. They DID have a great Caesar. Is it worth it to save pennies in Caesar salad dressing when you lose whole family's business? read more

First of all, leaving a review on a fast food joint seems a bit pointless because you should know what to expect... it's a Zaxbys and if you've been to one, you've been to all of them. Unfortunately, that's not the case here. I've been to this location at least a dozen times and I always end up saying to myself, why do I keep going back?? Every single time, my order has been messed up whether they just didn't order what I had asked for after an acknowledgment of "what else?" Or they just forgot to put it in the bag. I've finally learned my lesson after them not only not ordering what I asked for, but also getting that order wrong. Normally, I would never leave a review on a fast food place because it's pointless, but with all of the money I've spent here over the years, I've had it. Just don't. Just drive the extra few miles to the next Zaxbys. read more

I have been to many Zaxby's locations and this is the first time I've come to this Asheville location. The young man working at the counter had one AirPod in and barely gave us the time of day to order. When I received the food, the Kickin Chicken sandwich that I typically order had little to no sauce on it. The fries were cold, soggy, and undercooked. It was the worst experience I have ever had at a zaxby's. I'm very disappointed in this location and I don't suggest anyone going there unless you want to be very disappointed and dissatisfied! read more

Pretty weak salad today. I've noticed that last several times they don't add the bacon on a Cobb salad. Clearly it's listed on the menu with bacon. This time, lettuce was brown and old-- no bacon -- one sliver for a tomato. Very disappointing. read more

Service sets this one apart. Zaxby's is a chain, so it's difficult to write a review on one particular location as opposed to another. The food should, in theory, be identical, so really the service is all you have to go on. The people at this location were all very friendly, the place was very clean, and they went above and beyond to make it a nice experience for us. As far as the food, this was my first trip to Zaxby's, and I was pleasantly surprised. I expected less from yet another chicken chain. There is a place out west called Raising Cane's that does only chicken tenders, and it's overpriced. Zaxby's is quite the opposite. My wife and I got enough lunch for $15 to where we didn't have to even eat dinner. The chicken is really well done, with just a light coating of batter on the outside (not like the super thick crispy ones you get some places). The fries are really well seasoned as well, and the sauce is a great addition. Really not a negative thing to say about the place. I still prefer Bojangles for my chicken (and there are several closer to my house), so that's why I don't give Zaxby's a 5. I reserve that for the best of the best, but Zaxby's is a good go-to if you're on a road trip and you want some reliably delicious food. read more

If you haven't heard or eaten at Zaxby's anywhere in the South you live under a rock or just never get out. This particular visit I was not too happy with the wait. I was one of 5 customers in the restaurant and it took over 14 minutes to make a grilled chicken salad. This included NO drivers in the drive through. I appreciate making my chicken fresh but that long? Either way the food is on point for a great salad however I do feel their prices are a tad high for "fast food" I think a better value would have been about $2 cheaper. Other than the long wait the food is usually great I just don't stop by that often due to costs. I can eat at many restaurants in the area that are local for close to this price of a salad. I do wish East AVL had more selections though read more

Really, really dissapointed with this particular Zaxby's as of late. They constantly get our orders wrong and today I ordered a Grilled House Zalad but when we got home we realized (too late) that the salad had absolutely NO CHICKEN on it! The salad itself was a total disaster. read more

The food is greasy and burned my fried mushrooms. When I mentioned the problem staff said that is the way it is.

I went to Zaxby's for a quick meal. The sweet tea was great and the Grill Cobb Salad was fulfilling.

I would be surprised if you get your order out right. now I'm just typing more words so this will be posted as a review and not a tip. Get new employees or something read more

This location absolutely has gone downhill. I know these are rough times but it started before this. Decided to give it another shot because it's close to our home and they've been advertising an item I've wanted to try. I pull in and my order isn't ready after ordering online because they "forgot" about me. After waiting longer than it would have taken to go through the drive through, I get my food and I don't even have half of my order so I have to go back and wait again. 25 minutes for my food after ordering and paying online and I still didn't get 3 cookies, dressings, or the drinks that I PAID FOR after having to go 3 times for them to fix it. Management or someone needs to do something, employees are rude and act like it's a joke. They don't care when your order is messed up and treat you like you're a problem after they FORGET you're there. It's a bunch of kids playing games at work not caring about their job. read more

It's a franchise. However, it's regional, and I had never been to one before. Like Chick-fil-A, Zaxby's is a chicken oriented establishment. It seems they've tried to make it a little classier establishment by throwing some tacky stuff on the walls, but it definitely still in the fast food category. I had the chicken fingers, and they were decent. The fries are the crinkled ones. The meal also comes with coleslaw and that totally unnecessary piece of toast. I had a few complaints with the menu. It was a little too cutesy for my liking. They seem to have confused the letter "s" with the letter "z". Tragic. These spelling mistakes aside, there was a grammatical error. Also, they charge for sauce, and I'm a sauce fan. read more

The people suck ass, food is heavenly. Awful workers. They always get our orders wrong. Never ever clean. They are rude. Never get the sauces right. Ice is always out. Napkins are never filled. read more

I used to love this restaurant, I answer Zaxby's under the secret question to remember passwords. LOL I have gotten food poisoning twice from Zaxby's here in East Asheville on tunnel road. Both times I ended up in hospital. Both times I knew it was food poisoning, lboth times I asked them to run the "fecal test "and that confirmed it. I will never go there again read more

Worst service ever! I went and order food through the drive thru and once I got home and ready to eat one of my meals had multiple long hairs and I called them to let them know and they told me to hold on, there were going to put me with a manager and I was on hold for about 20 mins. Never again will I go there!!!! read more

I love zaxbys chicken but this one by far was the worst one of all. We ordered chicken wings, fingers and fries. The chicken wings were overcooked and dry the fries apparently were fried with a year old oil they were horrible. The girl at the drive thru didn't even let me finish my whole order like she was in a hurry and of course something came out wrong! I'm sorry I love zaxbys food but like I said I DO NOT recommend this location!i read more

Things have gotten much better at this location since my last review. No complaints with the service, and friendliness of the staff. Very seldom do they get orders wrong anymore. Great place to eat :) read more

I've tried eating here on two different occasions and both times there were people already setting at tables waiting for there order and a huge line of customers waiting to get there order taken .So if you don't have time to wait don't go to this zaxbys because you'll definitely be there awhile. read more

We ordered the chicken wings the sauce was fine but the wings were very overcooked and dry think we are maybe three total will never go to that zaxbys again. read more

Zaxby's is my favorite fast food place, but this place is so hit or miss. Can't go wrong with the chicken finger sandwich, always hot and fresh. French fries are a different story. Got some today that were hot but tasted old and very little seasoning. Had to ask for sweet tea. Had to ask for lemons. Had to ask for dipping sauce. Counters were sticky, tables and floors were dirty. read more

Stopped in for Lunch at 135pm on Monday ...ordered the Zensation Filet chicken, which is pictured on the sign above the Ordering PA system. I was told , that it is no longer available, so I reluctantly substituted the Cajun chicken sandwich with fries and a Sprite drink, because they were also out of Coke ! My girlfriend ordered the chicken strip meal and Spicy mushrooms.. Got home and guess what, no mushrooms and the Cajun chicken sandwich was given a bath in some kind of dressing ! Called and spoke to the on-duty Zaxby's rep who offered to "replace" the mushrooms... I'm not needing replacement because they weren't included to begin with ! Evidently " replacement " is a term used often at this Asheville Tunnel road location! I'm out 3.79 plus tax but will NEVER go to any Zaxby's again.. I'm not sure what other business goes on at Zaxby's but they have given up on the primary business of fast food ! I am very disappointed in the quality of the food and service at Zaxby's ... signed , Still Hungry in Asheville read more

The service staff are very friendly and personable. Charlie is the best!! Food is good.

My first trip to Zaxby's, and my last. Service was fine, place was clean, but that is about where the good ends. The food is no different than I could buy at a grocery store and cook at home in my oven - except for the cost. I don't mind paying for food with flavor - but this had none. Save your money and eat at home - or go elsewhere for food with flavor. read more
