The food is always good. We always pick up our food and bring it home to eat. I get the Wings and Things plate but lately the wings don't have enough sauce or none at all. Sometimes the chicken strips are not much bigger than the smallest nuggets. I do love the egg rolls. I guess the service is great and I can't say anything about the ambiance since we don't stay there to eat. It's our go to place for chicken. Just wish they offered delivery to Williamston or the outer limits of Williamston near Hwy.29N. About 10 miles from the restaurant. We love Zaxby's!!! read more

This is my favorite wings restaurant. Back when I lived in SC, I would eat at Zaxby's or from Zaxby's about once a week. I ordered their wings and things meal most of the time however, in many instances, I tried many of their other delicious options on the menu such as their salads, sandwiches and the boneless wings. All have been great. There's hardly a time when they got the order wrong. I ordered tonight at the drive thru and while waiting for my food, I noticed that the server checked all the boxes that came out of the kitchen before she placed them in the bag and gave them to me. That's an excellent thing to do. This branch in particular always got it right. So I would strongly recommend it in particular Prices are average. Food is always fresh. They have lots of great options on their menu. It would be great if they would consider opening branches in Arizona! read more

Chicken wasn't hot. fries weren't hot. Fried pickles were COLD! Egg roll in the Zalad was fried to a blackened crisp. The coke freestyle machine was so full of spilled out ice you couldn't place your cup in for a drink. A scooped it out with my hand in order to use it. Servers would not speak above a whisper. The service was awful! Asked for grill chicken Cobb salad 2 different visits and still got fried chicken. This time when I got the grilled chicken after waiting, it was so rubbery I couldn't eat it. Asked for hot fries and got them cold 20 minutes later when we received our food. The Cook argued saying he made them hot but they weren't even warm in the middle. After the customer service I received today it's safe to say I wont return. I dont know what type of hiring process you put your new employees through but the training they're receiving is not effective. 75% of the employees that work there have the actual personality of a rock & lets not even begin with their attitudes because I'd be here ALL DAY LONG. Hire people who actually want to work or hire people who realize that they chose this job not the customer they're treating so poorly. As for my experience today on July 3rd at 12:51 PM..... From the eye rolling, to telling me I ordered something I didn't because "thats what she heard", to slamming her drive-thru window in my face after I apologized for the misunderstanding and told her to have a good day all why her manager is standing there looking at me out the window. Here's the best part I called to speak with a manager because I didn't want to call corporate and get someone in trouble the lady picked up once I asked who was the manager on shift right now she said "Jessica & Lamar" I said ok I'd like to talk to one of them please. I do not live in Anderson, but in a neighboring town. I went to the drive through and should have check my order when I received it. Got all the way home and had the wrong order in my bag. I paid almost $12 and received an $8 order. I called the store and was told if I would come back they would give me my order. I am not driving all that way, you should have people that know how to read the sticker on the bag and place the right order inside the bag. read more

I placed an online order since it was for Five people. The order was placed at 4:59 and it said it would be ready at 5:14. We arrived around 5:10 and kept an eye on the To go wire rack and patiently waited for 30 minutes. Another gentleman walked up to the counter (who was there when we walked in) and asked about his order and the workers said they prepared it and that he picked it up which he clearly had not. We learned he had been waiting for an hour. After overhearing that encounter we inquired about our order and they said the ticket was made and closed. The manager (?) told us we shouldn't place online orders because DoorDash pickup the wrong orders. That might be the case, but we didn't see any DoorDash people come in the 45 minutes that we waited for our order. During this wait was saw 7 employees in the front line on their phones and not checking in with the lobby full of guests waiting. IF there is a known issue of people picking up the wrong order then the manager should ask one of their team members to ask for names/check receipts. The manager did not once apologize and made us feel as though we did something wrong by placing the order online. When our order was ready the manager set it down and one of the bags nearly fell over, she then left after we asked about sauces and our drinks. Our order was not prepared correctly which we expected, but super frustrating after an hour of waiting. The manager had poor communication and was disrespectful. Disappointed and won't be back. My complete order was wrong.......The wrong order was as follows: fried pickles left out of order, the basket of toast was only buttered bread not toasted at all, basket of fries were cold, basket of 20 wings were cold with no dipping sauce or celery included, the cajun club was just a fried chicken sandwich. I had not gone in a while due to having to wait so long, but I decided to go the other night and went inside to pick up an order to go. I had to wait 35 minutes for my order, and when I got home I realized they never gave me my salad and my son's wings were freezing cold. First meal of the day at 9:30 pm and I found 1, only 1 wing that was edible. The rest were over cooked and hard like eating leather. I didnt eat the bark lie chicken they sent me. What a waste of money. The poor thing about this is that I'm fairly confident that nothing will be done about this. If i gave my service with this piss poor quality, my career would be over. Delicious chicken ! The tongue torch is just the right amount of heat ( hot enough to sweat a little by the time you're done, but not so hot you are miserable.) Food runner took our food to the wrong table. Twice. But otherwise food is hot and delicious. Cooked well and no complaints there. However did have to ask for extra sauces after getting the wrong things twice. Would still recommend it, love the big zax snack and the value of it. read more

They have here an irritating habit of taking the tray away after bringing the food to you, yet they expect you to throw away the plates, napkins, etc. when you're finished eating. Wouldn't it help to leave the tray, so it's easier for customers to carry things to the trash can after they're done? I had to ask twice for the tray not to be taken away, so I could use it after I finished. If you're going to take the tray, then just have customers leave everything when they're done eating, and you can bus the tables afterwards. Guess why restaurants who serve at the table also bus them. It's because they're not giving you things, like a tray, to clear the table with yourself. What Zaxby's (or this Zaxby's) does, I've never seen anywhere else. My guess is Zaxby's hasn't either. And there's a reason for that, namely, that this method requires not thinking things through and not being thoughtful toward the customer. But perhaps that's not the point of the practice.
