The inside, outside, and bar are all seated on the waiting list. They sat the 2 of us at the bar and it was a fun experience. The bartender made great recommendations and was very knowledgeable about the menu. They have 8 draft beers on tap and a large cocktail menu. We started off with the crispy brussels and it was excellent. The balsamic honey reduction was a nice addition to the appetizer. We got two sandwiches (chimichurri steak press and brisket reuben) and both were very good and recommended by the bartender. I enjoyed the fries a little more than the chips for a side item. Definitely plan on coming back to this restaurant the next time I'm up in Clemson!

Our server was so sweet she took the time to explain that she too is a Clemson student and went into depth on the menu. I got the French dip and you can add three wings to your meal which seems like a good idea at the time. Also I swapped out the fries for a salad because I'm chunky. My wife and daughter at the burger and chicken tacos respectively, Burger was indeed tasty and the tacos were on point. Place seems to die down about 8:30 but it was the first week back from school break but you can tell this is a local favorite especially when the parents come in town! Our first place that night become regular lunch location! First, there was a great ambiance to feel comfy and "at home". Bakery items by the register were enticing. Merchandise in the back inclusing super soft tees, sweatshirts and pants amongst other items (some handmade)! And there were Pickens referenced logos. I love finding shirts of a town!! This is all good but what really makes it superb is the food. I had the homemade chicken salad on wheat; healthy portion, soft bread and delicious chicken salad with a touch of apple plus a side of chicken dumpling soup. And a chai latte. All delicious. My friend had an egg and cheese croissant. She also exclaimed how delicious it was, especially the croissant. Finally, the staff.
