It was a bit of a tricky job due to the trim being arched, which meant it had to be traced and cut appropriately. I had the pleasure of contacting David, whom I asked several questions of how he would go about the process and I felt very comfortable with everything he walked through. He scheduled the work for a couple weeks out, text notifications let me know when he would be arriving and he was able to complete everything within a few hours. David cut the replacement beautifully using PVC so there is no maintenance on it in the future and caulked / sealed up all points of exposure to rain. He was very efficient, kind, and answered all the questions I had since I'm learning to do these kinds of tasks on my own. The pricing was extremely competitive and there's no question that I'll have David back pretty soon for other jobs around my home that I'm not comfortable handling. Highly recommended, thanks again David! Best, Charlie

We contacted Rich when we realized that the seven (yep, seven) different types of flooring we had…read moreon our first floor were making it difficult for us to settle in and feel at home. We had reached out to a few other flooring places, but didn't feel like the people we talked to knew what they were talking about or were able to give us any good advice. In our entryway, for example, we had what I've come to know as the Winfield special - poured concrete and tile meshed in chicken wire. Other contractors we talked to told us we wouldn't be able to remove it. Rich didn't bat an eye, we felt that no matter what we threw at him he was going to figure out and make work for what we wanted. Rich was able to meet with my husband and I and go over, in detail, all the areas of the first floor and what he would expect to do. He visited us a couple of times to get everything right and go over the plan. During job my husband and I were in Colorado for work. We were able to check in on the progress through text with Rich and felt we had a good sense of what was going on. If Rich had any questions, he would contact us. When we got back to our house we were blown away by how great the floors looked. We didn't want to walk on them for a week, we were so worried about ruining them! We've found they hold up extremely well to our toddler and two dogs, and we've now been able to settle into our new home. Overall the job took a little longer than originally planned, but only by a couple of days. We found a couple of spots that were questionable, but Rich has been extremely accessible and more than happy to help, which is a relief. Their pricing was competitive, and we knew that we were getting a high level of expertise and professionalism. My husband and I feel like Rich is more of a trusted advisor than a contractor. I highly recommend Rich and the team at Innovative Wood Floors!
