Got my suit tailored here. It cost $100 and I'm positive they did nothing to the suit coat. I came back to pick up my pants per the date they said they would have everything done. It wasn't ready. I asked them to taper the pants and they did not. Won't be coming back. read more

I walked in for a zipper fix. lady said nothing was wrong with it but I had to call my husband to confirm with her that the zipper was broken and splits. she said $20 for a new liner. When I came to pick up with my husband another lady said $15, possibly $50, I could not tell by her think accent but I heard $15. charged card and now I'm looking at $50 on my bank statement. Homecoming 2021... a 5'9" kid who is super slender is difficult to buy for! Went all over town looking for a a suit solution, to no avail. I took a chance on a suit on eBay! Unfortunately the jacket was a bit big and the pant legs were "grandpa legs" as Zarif called them! Zarif got to work immediately measuring and pinning. The process was very quick but she is obviously a master at her craft. Highly recommend! Just picked up my bridal dress after alterations, and I must say that I am overly excited about it. Zarif did an amazing job on my all lace dress. I came in for my first fitting and didn't need a single thing touched up. The bustle is beautiful and everything fits as it should. I'd used Zarif in the past and she has done work for several of my family members. Of course, I took the dress for my son's wedding to her for alterations. She told me they were really, really busy and she was making great money and she hoped she could get it done. I hadn't chosen a dress until about 6 weeks before and the one I fell in love with was the last available, two sizes too big. I asked her to be honest and let me know if it couldn't so I could go somewhere else since I knew I had a time crunch. She assured me she'd do it and reminded me she'd always taken care of my family, which was true. It took about a month, me calling to check in, and I went in the day before I had to leave for the wedding and begged. I had to sit while they finished. The end product was horrific. They had done NOTHING to take the dress in other than folded the dress and run a straight stitch along the side. All of the excess material was just folded down, resulting in a lumpy profile. She had forgotten to do the bustle for the train and I ended up waiting 15 more minutes while she sewed in 3 hook and eyes. The whole thing cost $250 for... literally NOTHING!! When I got to the wedding destination, my aunt, who is a seamstress was beside herself. We went into the city and found a tailor at a cleaners that took the seams apart, cut the dress properly and restitiched it correctly in about an hour. She charged me $50!! NEVER again will I go to Zarif, nor will my family. read more

I have previously written a review about this superb tailor. This past week I brought them a very thin dress that I inadvertently had washed in the washing machine which resulted in a large 90 degree tear. I brought it to Zarife hoping she could maybe turn it into a tunic or top. She surprised me and said she could fix it. Let me tell you they are magicians!
