This location is well spread out and easy to shop. We came in over an hour before closing to get my kid some clothing. The lady working in kids was friendly, but informed me that he couldn't try a pair of shorts on because they close the fitting rooms an hour before store closing. For a store policy - That's a bit frustrating since he literally just needed to try two sizes of one item, and Zara sizing is very inconsistent. We ended up buying a few things, but will be avoiding this location in the future. read more

I Used To Work At One Zara Department Store Which Was At Post Street In The Downtown Area Of San Francisco Ca USA.... The One Thing That I Like Most About Zara Is The T Shirts & Sweaters & Also The Free WI Fi!!!!! Not Every Department Store Has Free Wifi!!!! If U Yelpers & Yelpettes Like Shopping For Mens Or Womens Clothes Try Going To This Zara Location!!!!! read more

Really enjoyed my visit this time around. The store was well stocked, neatly displayed and the customer service was exceptional. It was easy to locate what I came here to find and purchased a few associated items due to how organized the pieces were displayed. The associate at the register was friendly, quick to acknowledge me and walked over with me to assist with sizing and requesting it from the back. She also assisted me with purchasing an item online whose size was not available in store. I would definitely venture back to this location for the service received this visit. I was able to get in and out with hassle or digging around to located pieces. There were few people in the Kids area which I loved and made it easy to navigate. My daughter has been wearing Zara pretty much since birth, their styles, quality and sizing make it a breeze to allow this brand to grow with my 5 yo. Right off the Muni line M for me and directly across the street from the Muni stop. Zara is clearly located outside the mall and entering near the location was breeze to locate the store. read more

Some of the worst customer service I've seen. The girl at the register had no expression during my purchase. No communication, not friendly. I asked the Asian guy at the fitting room a question but he quickly ran away to the back room and ignored me. Never going back to this store. Avoid this Zara. The workers must hate their job because they get paid nothing. read more

Love Zara sale season. I've been to all 3 Zaras in SF, and this one is the only one where the fitting room is closed, so I had to put on the pants on the top of my own pants. I will say they are trying to arrange the clothes by the colors, but the display is less organized than the one in Westfield, but a bit better than the one on post street. When I was there, there was one person working behind the counter, and the line was long. I had to wait 15mins, but the guy was very nice and helpful. I also returned 2 items that I bought online here, I would say the return process was easy. read more

Horrible customer service and workers are so rude. Wanted to buy stuff from the kids section, but they closed the registers right as we were wanting to check out and said we had to check out in the woman's section. The store manager rudely walked away as we were talking to her and wouldn't give us her name saying that "we don't give out names here". Another worker gladly told me her name, Toka, probably cause she's a bitch. Wouldn't give us her district manager's name or anything. I hope people realize how shit this place is. read more

Zara - Rude store manager, Toka - Women's Clothing Near Me - San Francisco, California

The employees in this store are stellar - always very helpful and friendly. However, their manager, Terry, is unnecessarily condescending. When I was overcharged for an item which was mis-priced (the sticker covering the price showed a price ~$20 cheaper than what I was charged, but in euros), rather than honoring the lower price (I asked for the equivalent price in USD after currency conversion) or even just explaining that it is against their company policy to honor mis-priced items, he tried his best to make it seem like I was the one who was in the wrong for not catching their mistake, not seeing that the price was in euros, and not peeling off the price sticker to see the REAL price underneath. For a store as large as Zara it seems silly for them to squabble over $20, but apparently they need it more than I do. read more

They are ridiculous that the return policy is 30 days. I was 2 days after the thirty day return policy, tags were on the items and they were absolutely rude about it. They don't make exceptions even though I was exchanging items vs just returning. I am extremely disappointed with how this company does business and they have lost a customer for life. read more

Customer satisfaction is zero. The employees are not friendly. Especially the Store Manager is not good at all and not understanding. Moreover, instead of helping the customer, he actually makes things more difficult. I will never come here again. This store is a disaster. Shame on you, Zara. read more

Terrible customer service. Cashiers swearing at the register just a huge turn off. I hope this location closes.

Absolutely the worst customer service ever.I had ordered clothes online, nothing fit, drive an hour to the nearest store so I don't pay $ to ship back. Called customer service as what was advised after spending an additional $350 in the store. The guy on the phone was horribly rude, not helpful at all. From the time you order to the time it arrives could be a week! Clothes I bought still in the store, full price and they would not let me return, exchange, store credit because I was a few days past the 30 days. I get if the clothes were not still in store BUT they were! Love their clothes but they need to learn a huge lesson on how to treat customers. I am stuck with $200 worth of clothes that don't work. I will NEVER order online again! Lost a customer for sure! read more

Fitting room closes an hour before the actual store closes. I wish that was posted somewhere

I did not want a bag at checkout but she ended up still giving me a bag and charged me $.25! I could've should've returned it but there was a long line at closing and didn't wanna make a big scene asking for 25% back! But will be back to shop cuz they have pretty affordable style I like to wear. I just have to make sure I remember to bring with me my .25 cent ZARA bag. read more

This review is for this specific store only. Not the actual company because I LOVE ZARA. I just wanted to clarify that before you punish the other stores. I wasn't that happy coming here today. The selection of clothing, shoes, and handbags weren't that great plus this location never has my pants size. As I was aimlessly walked around looking for something to purchase, I witnessed a shoplifter get caught stealing. A security guard and ZARA employee kindly asked the shoplifter to leave the store. They didn't make a scene or act out of control. I was impressed with the way they handled the situation. Unfortunately, the cashier with the reddish hair that rang up my things was super rude. She didn't greet me hello back after I greeted her and she just looked annoyed the whole time she rung me up. Maybe she was hungry or maybe she hates her job. Who knows. I just know that she lacks customer service skills and this gave me an even better reason not to return to this specific ZARA store. A rude employee and limited inventory just does not mix! read more

Drove today from Novato to Stonestown. 45 minute commute to shop at the store. After browsing and picking out clothes for 30 minutes I went to the dressing room. Had over $800 in clothing I wanted to purchase.I was then informed the dressing rooms would be closed for another hour and a half! Short staffed. Care factor was absolutely zero! May have given two stars if I was told this when I entered the store. Do you not think that is pertinent information before customers waste their time? They could have cared less about their customers. The store is an absolute train wreck of a mess. Would've been better off shopping at Marshall's. So disappointied as I am sure corporate would be as well. read more

ZARA, I LOVE shopping here, Especially SALES time of the year, Serious Sales for Serious Shoppers, Bit of everything for all ZARA Lovers, Wherever you may be, ZARA, you are my Shopping Spree! ZARA inside Stonestown Galleria (SF): This is it, the last ZARA of my quest to catch the Sales before season ends LOL. I went to all of ZARA's in NorCal (Roseville, Dublin, Walnut Creek, San Jose, San Francisco). Should I miss any other ZARA, please let me know LOL! Someone wrote in their review that "this place is huge", so thought I come check it out in person. Turns out it's not that huge, particularly for the Men's section. The Women's is no larger than at any other locations. Although the Store seem well-organized, there was not much selection to choose from in the Men's for me. read more

Simple question here, do you like being discriminated? Racially profiled ? Then this store is just right for you. My sister and I had decided to go shopping here since there was a sale going on , as soon as we walked in the door , we could feel all eyes on us. Mind you , we had our purses and backpacks on while other people had bigger size TOTES with them and yet, we were being followed around while we looked at their clothing. The security guy would even go as far as walking beside and behind me slowly , while making his way down to the exit (even though he wasn't there to begin with. Needless to say , I will not be going back to this store again. read more

Customer service is horrible! Mostly shop online, but travel about 3 hours to go to the Nashville, TN store a few times a year. Store employees are not that friendly, but customer service by phone is worse! These are the rudest people I've ever dealt with! This is apparently condoned by corporate, or it wouldn't continue to happen. I've seen many other reviews saying the same thing. Never again will I purchase from Zara or spend hundreds traveling to darken the doors of one of their stores. I'm disappointed that I was forced to give 1 star to write a review. read more

Considering this Zara takes up a huge chunk of one side of the first floor...it really is not that huge inside. The store is very spacious but the inventory is very limited, I feel like they should look into placing more items for sale, however that process works whether the store is in charge of that or the warehouse, either one. You are never greeted, for the most part the staff really do just stare at you when they see you walk in. I feel it's just common courtesy you know? The clothes are cute...but not a lot to choose from. read more

Zara's delivery service people have stolen my deliveries now two times and Zara customers should know apparently Zara does not care. Just this week, I have a Ring camera with photos of delivery man coming to my front door, knocking on my door, ringing my doorbell (looking at camera he knew was there), then stepping back, taking picture of package supposedly delivered to my door, and then waiting several minutes. Ring camera then stopped recording as he was motionless. What he apparently didnt' know was we also have Ring camera at driveway and street which shows him walking from my front door with my package, to his car, tossing it in back seat, and driving away with my package. I have so far spent in excess of two hours communicating with Zara both via its Chat box and on phone. I have been instructed to drag my photos to deposit into the Chat box, all unsuccessfully, which I have been told will not accept the photo format. I am told I have to download another program in order to send them the photos proving the theft. Zara refuses to provide any other manner of photo delivery and will not accept email attachments. Thus the customer is stuck WITH ABSOLUTELY NO ASSISTANCE FROM ZARA OTHER THAN "HAVE A NICE DAY!" I WOULD THINK ZARA WOULD BE CONCERNED THAT ITS DELIVERY SERVICES ARE STEALING THEIR CUSTOMERS PACKAGES - leaving customer stuck PAYING FOR ITEMS THEY DID NOT RECEIVE, and spending additional time going through their credit cards to contest charges which I fully intend to do. THIS LAST DELIVERY PERSON WAS SAVVY in that he knows Ring cameras are motion detection activated so thought there would be no footage of his walking down to his car with my package in his hand and driving away with it. I have explained all of this in detail to Zara and they just end the conversation without recourse or solution. ZARA CUSTOMERS BEWARE - if this happens to you, you have absolutely no recourse with Zara. They apparently do not care otherwise they would create a user friendly system of resolving these incidences. read more

The store is very spacious and nice, and some of the clothes here are cute, but there seems to be a limited selection than what I was expecting for a store this big. Now usually I don't shop at Zara because the clothes there are pricey and I'm not really into most styles they have to offer. However, I did find a pair of shorts in a design I like, and it was on sale for (get this) $19.99! I thought about going to the fitting room to try these on, but they were closed. That was a letdown (luckily they fit so nothing to worry about). Would I come to Zara again? Maybe, if they have good deals on their inventory. Thank goodness that there were no lines when I went to go check out. I was in and out within 5-10 minutes (I'm usually a pretty fast shopper). It's nice that this store (and the area) is next to SFSU so college students can come to the mall if they want to do some shopping and such. read more

Sadly the service sucks. Had a return that was passed the "30" days 2 days exactly.. the manager looked at me as if I was crazy to think she can return my items passed their return policy.. Terrible customer service. None of you look like you want to work here. Went in with my best friend to find her a birthday outfit and the line was so long. Worst part was when the cashier asked my friend if she had the app and she somehow couldn't find the barcode (which was not obvious to look for at all) he gave out a loud sigh instead of asking if she needed assistance in locating it. When my friend showed him the app to help her, he said, "it's right there" and just seemed extremely annoyed that he had to provide basic customer service. I try my best to be sympathetic to customer service workers, being a former sales associate in retail myself, but we're ALL tired. Do better, Zara. Especially with how much your clothes cost. read more

Walked in to return something, the store wasn't busy. There are now 2 lines, one for return and one for purchases. When I got to the registers there was only 1 cashier and she was preoccupied with a customer. The cashier clearly saw me line up and saw that there was no one else but me. While the cashier was still helping the customer, another party lines up in the purchase line *AFTER ME*. At this point I had already been waiting a while, but when the transaction for the original customer finishes, the cashier makes me wait and proceeds to help the guest that came after me. Everytime I come into this Zara the customer service is garbage, workers are rude, and they look super judgy. I hate coming here. read more

this racist lady helped me return stuff to zara. when i was trying stuff on, i put my jacket that i wore into my zara bag, which i already had since i was returning items. then she came up and yelled in my face. i started having a panic attack and peed a little. she wouldn't give her name or the names of her higher-ups to file a complaint. i'm shaking and so fearful and petrified to go back to that mall. please be careful shopping here. she didn't even mention her position; i had to ask someone else. read more

So horrible every time. The line and checkout process is a complete mess. And it doesn't help that the staff is so rude.

I went to see what they had for their seasonal sale and picked out a few cute things. I had a dress that I was sure on sale and when I asked the sales girl at the counter she smirked and asked her co-worker if it was on sale with an eye roll. Then I asked if they had anymore of a perfume I was looking for to which she smirked again and asked her co-worker. She gave me a generic answer, "It's just what's out there." I know this is total B.S. because when I was in Amsterdam they went to the back and checked for me and found the perfume I was searching for. They are lazy, unhelpful and RUDE at the Stonestown Mall. No apologies, no let me check, no THANK YOUs. I hate this store with a passion. DO NOT SHOP THERE!!! read more

My fellow Yelpers are right - the workers at this location are unfriendly and very slow. Although there is a large selection and the store is fairly clean, I was disappointed with my shopping experience today. There was only one person on the register (couldn't catch his name, but he was a bald guy) with at least 5-6 people waiting in line & the guy was so incredibly slow. Was he in his own world and not aware of the line? The cashier's lack of agility was so frustrating I ended up leaving the store and left the piece of clothing I was in line for. All of the workers were unfriendly and unapologetic about the line. It's a shame that a nice store like Zara has workers who are slow and look like they're miserable... which makes our customer experience miserable too. read more

I've recently moved out of SF to Sonoma County. Came into SF to come shopping. Came into Zara to pick up some fall clothing. I had about $500 + in clothing to try on- dressing rooms always closed! This is so frustrating. None of the sizing is consistent so you have to try everything on. I look around and just see ppl trying to try items on in the open over their clothing. The checkout line is 15 ppl deep all with returns. This is a horrible business model- do they do this in hopes ppl will forget to return their items in the return period so they get higher sales? I live 1 hour away- I'm not going to go home and try on clothes just to return 80 % of the items. I ended up buying 1 plain t-shirt. I was also at a location in Roseville and all the dressing rooms were also closed. - I walked out of that store read more

At 8:53pm on a Friday 2/18/2023, I'm asking the employee if I could purchase the coat that I was able to show her right in front of the store. It was literally 5 feet away from her.
