There is a 20amp breaker in the box. This year the breaker tripped and there was an electrical burning smell. About 10 outlets stopped working. Everything was running on extension cords. I called Corey and told him what happened. He said to text him the next morning and he will come out and fix the problem. I called/texted over 12 times for 21/2 weeks with not one response! We had another electrician come to fix the problem. When he figured out which outlet it was he took the box out to find it burnt in several spots, the wires were burnt as well as the caps etc. Also the box was held in place with 2 inch screws which the electrician said was not safe. Corey's son did the work on this job. His work is subpar, dangerous and reckless! The electrician said we were very lucky that there was not a fire. Now I am wondering what the other outlets look like. I sent Corey the pictures I have below and told him what was going on and crickets! This is no way to run a business. Most of our outlets are in crooked and the outlet on the island stopped working and also had to be repaired.

Danny and Evan were so clutch for our house in Wyndmoor, PA. Danny and Evan responded quickly through e-mail and phone, and were out to see our project within 24 hrs of first contact. We needed a new 30 AMP dryer outlet, and also a brand new electrical line to our circuit breaker. Evan and Danny were honest about the work, time, and materials to complete, as well as cost. We had a quote in our hands the same night we spoke to them. They were able to schedule the work for a Monday after we accepted the quote on a Friday. The work was great and we are really happy that we could upgrade our laundry game so quickly because of Wescott Electrical. We also reached back out to Evan and Danny about a lighting project that we had attempted to setup on our own, and they came out within 24 hrs to support us. We had gotten pretty far, but lacked the expertise for rewiring the light switch. They told us that we didn't even have to go that far and provided us a quick fix of how to finish the lighting ourselves. Which worked! Amazingly! They didn't ask for any money, and offered to quote us for additional features for the lighting project, and we had the quote in our hands the same night they came and saved our project. We were able to schedule them to come out with in days to add on the features as well. Wescott doesn't look at it's customers as a check book, but more of an extension of their family. We have several other small but ambitious projects that we plan on collaborating with them on as well. We've used several electricians in multiple homes over the last 10 years, and Wescott Electrical has been the first to show up when they say, do what they say, and charge an amount that is reasonable. No other company which is a total 5 in the area has checked all of those boxes.

We were stumped. First, I called one of the top rated solo electricians here on Yelp, who was hesitant to come to the house... he emailed me a pdf of things to try. I tried them all with no luck. So, I called him back, at which point he said he was booked through the next two months and told me to call "one of the big companies who have lots of employees." Basically, he could tell it was a weird situation and didn't want to deal with it. So I called a bigger company, also top Yelp rated. Boy were they professional! And turns out... very expensive. It's nice that the estimator put little sanitary slippers on his shoes when he walked through my house but when he tried to sell me a "whole house surge protector" for $550 and charge another $440 just to diagnose the problem, I quickly understood how they afforded all those employees. Finally, I called Tony. He was in center city working at Dillworth Plaza doing electrical for the Christmas Village. He came right over to my house after he wrapped there--and immediately went to work trying to diagnose the problem. He then provided a very reasonable estimate to run new lines from the panel in the basement and get my outlets/lights/home back to normal. The job was pretty complex... he and another guy had to cut into a few walls and drywall them back. Along the way Tony kept me posted via text, sent pictures of their progress, and was available via cell phone. I feel lucky to have found Francolini & Sons Electric and would not hesitate to recommend Tony. He's reasonably priced, keeps in touch, and does good work!
