This was a multi-day job and I mainly dealt with Vince throughout (great name btw). He was friendly and responsive throughout, and his crew was very professional. He also took the extra step to double-check his work and make sure everything was operating properly before leaving. I summoned John to my house a couple months ago to replace a non-functional fluorescent bulb in my closet with an LED light, and to run an outlet to my newly installed heatless water tank. He came with his son and another worker (sorry for forgetting your name, man), and they did both jobs in a reasonable amount of time for a fine cost, with plenty of kindness and pleasantries. While doing this work John pointed out that my electrical panel was full of corrosion - probably from when my nearby garden hose line burst and flooded the panel. Whoops... Cue John coming back a couple months later with 4 dudes a to completely replace my electrical service. We went from a 150 amp breaker to a 200 amp and he installed an emergency shutoff outside by my meter. He took great care to make sure everything in the breaker was labeled appropriately and to walk me through how to use everything. John is a good communicator who follows through on what he says he is going to do. He is a nice guy to boot! When my dog took a piss right on his toolbox, he didn't make me feel bad about it. Sorry, John! I would recommend him to anyone in the area that needs electrical work done.

Our Contractor agreed to use them because of the delay. Steve came out on a Saturday afternoon only 6 hours after we contacted him in order to review the job. He spent 3 hours at our home going over every aspect of the job, looking at the existing wiring and the proposed options we wanted. Steve not only made some excellent recommendations but also had the foresight to allow for a junction for a first floor connection on the same circuit that may be eliminated in the near future, saving us a lot of work and most likely a bit of money also. I don't know of another Electrician that I've ever used in the past that would think ahead like that for the customer. He said his helper Jim would be out early Monday after a lengthy consultation with him to review all aspects of the job. We were admittedly a bit concerned as we've had owners of businesses come out and sound top notch before and then send their workers out and be totally disappointed. This was truly not the case this time. Outside of the necessary noise required to complete the project we would almost not have known he was there. He arrived right on time every day. Worked the entire day. Never had to do one of those 2-3 hour mystery trips in the middle of the workday when you wonder if you're actually being charged for the offsite time needed for poor planning. Our entire experience was excellent. There is nothing they could have done better or done differently. We are having our faith renewed in the industry and look forward to working with them again for other projects in the future. Contact Lenko Electric if you need any electrical work done. You will NOT be sorry in any way. Thank you Steve and Jim!!!

I was looking to get a new outlet installed in my garage to enable an electric car charger. I didn't mention that when talking with him because I just assumed this would be foreign (I've heard stories of other electricians balking at such a thing). Turns out he just finished installing a charger for a Tesla! When it came time to do the install he actually texted me if he could come several hours earlier (which was welcome on my part). His work was fast and clean and he even installed the charger for me even though I didn't ask him to. We were stumped. First, I called one of the top rated solo electricians here on Yelp, who was hesitant to come to the house... he emailed me a pdf of things to try. I tried them all with no luck. So, I called him back, at which point he said he was booked through the next two months and told me to call "one of the big companies who have lots of employees." Basically, he could tell it was a weird situation and didn't want to deal with it. So I called a bigger company, also top Yelp rated. Boy were they professional! And turns out... very expensive. It's nice that the estimator put little sanitary slippers on his shoes when he walked through my house but when he tried to sell me a "whole house surge protector" for $550 and charge another $440 just to diagnose the problem, I quickly understood how they afforded all those employees. Finally, I called Tony. He was in center city working at Dillworth Plaza doing electrical for the Christmas Village. He came right over to my house after he wrapped there--and immediately went to work trying to diagnose the problem. He then provided a very reasonable estimate to run new lines from the panel in the basement and get my outlets/lights/home back to normal. The job was pretty complex... he and another guy had to cut into a few walls and drywall them back. Along the way Tony kept me posted via text, sent pictures of their progress, and was available via cell phone. I feel lucky to have found Francolini & Sons Electric and would not hesitate to recommend Tony. He's reasonably priced, keeps in touch, and does good work!

I "tried" to speak with a man (assume it was the owner), but from the start he did not listen to…read morewhat I was saying.  I began by telling him he had a guy at our townhouse "condo" community the day before doing some work for one of our owners. I said again we are a condominium community and wanted to see if they could quote work for us that included replacing a light fixture on the exterior of a Unit.  I explained the fixture is approximately 18 to 20 feet from the ground, mounted on the balcony roof overhang.  So here I gave him all these details but he starts asking me why isn't the homeowner calling.  So I repeated myself saying we are a condo community and the Association is responsible for this and AGAIN told him the light fixture is approximately 18 to 20 feet from the ground thus would need a ladder.  He then tells me before he can quote the job he will need for me to take a picture from my cell phone and send it to him so he can determine whether the job can be done with a 6 foot ladder or if it needs something higher. Obviously this guy is tone deaf.  But then it gets worse,  I said I usually do send emails with pictures, but his website doesn't have an email, and before I could tell him my cell phone plan doesn't include data so I can't send a picture via a text, he rudely interrupts me and begins speaking in a slow condescending manner saying again I need to take a picture with my cell phone so he can determine what the job entails.  That's when I said I can't do that and don't like your attitude, so forget it! I tell my neighbor who used their service only to learn she got the same treatment from this guy along with his worker who came out to do her job. I am female but have enough knowledge in home repairs to carry on an intelligent conversation with a contractor. Maybe this guy doesn't like talking to women.
