I told them they did not have to but they insisted on repeatedly putting on booties when coming into the house. They have a $200 fee for coming out that covers repairs if they do not need to install expensive equipment. I think that is very reasonable in today's world. Rick, who lead the team, strikes me as being honest as the day is long. It is so good to find intelligent, honest, and competitant craftsmen to fix stuff when it needs. The project was to install all new wiring, switches, outlets, ceiling fan, and exhaust fans. Each phase of the operation was done with professionalism and quality. Everyone was polite and kind, and they met or exceeded my expectations. It's a breath of fresh air when dealing with Multi Electric. They return calls, answers questions and work through and find the best solutions to any issues that arise. To give one example, David worked and provided the best solution to an issue we came across. Our house is laid out as an open concept, the living room has 4 entries. Well depending on which way we are entering the room, we needed the ability to turn on the lights from all 4 entries. David was able to configure our lights to be controlled by all 4 switches. His attention to detail doesn't stop there. He also recommended a timer switch for the poop fans in all the bathroom. So if you're doing your business and you had some tamales or burritos the night before, you know you going to need extra time for that exhaust fan to do its job :). Anyway, he suggested a switch with a preset timer built into it. It comes in 5, 10, 15 and 20 minutes configurations. Pretty cool. The list goes on, but I'm going to keep it short, cause you're probably tired of reading this already :). It's the little things like that I was impressed with. Oh, did I mention communications? and professionalism? David and his crew are one of the cleanest contractors I came across. They will make sure all their trash and debris are swept and cleaned up at the end of the day. As far as the cost of the job goes, they are competitive and fair. The job was exactly what they had initially estimated, and they finished in less time than they promised. I consider their prices to be very reasonable given the amount of work that the size of the job. Not only would I use Multi-Electric again, I don't think I would consider using anyone else if I need an electrician in the future. They have my recommendation without reservations and will honestly refer them to anyone with confidence!
