We called up and to our delight within less than hour we had our fabulous electrician they sent out Darren Sounder. Darren is a shining star! Talented & personable he got right down to work installing our new smoke detectors. He tested them out and made it look easy. We asked about GFCI's and requested those to be installed as well to bring everything up to code. That was a surprise but Darren was happy to assist. He had all the supplies on hand. It's a pleasure doing business with a company that is responsive and cares about providing respectful, prompt and exemplary service. Don't hesitate to call this company! I gave the operator all of my personal info and then waited an hour for their "master electrician" to call me back. Sean called me back 1.5 hours later to tell me they WON'T come to my area to do the work I explained to 2 different people that I needed. Instead, the "master electrician" texted me, " "we can't drive that far for a repair. We would suggest installing new lights. Anytime we try to repair a light it just spells trouble for both the client and us." Then, when he could tell I was upset (and probably thinking about leaving a bad review), he suddenly offered to come out and fix my fixture for free. Hmm. This company is a SCAM. Do not waste your time calling them. Find a LOCAL electrician. Shame on them.

They installed/replaced an outside flood light which was professionally done and required a bucky truck to reach the light. I was delighted with their work, and it was a reasonable price for their service. I requested their assistance again in November 2022 to install/replace an outside flood light in the back of our home. The job only required a ladder and was reasonably priced. However, I wanted more professional service and shared my concerns. They replaced the light fixture I provided with a box that allowed exposed wiring. I was unhappy with the job and consulted other professionals who felt the job primarily would not meet local code. A wire was exposed going into the box. I asked if they could put all wires in the box, which I thought would have been done the first time. The cost of doing it correctly would be $565.00, which I felt was unreasonable, but I signed the contract, not knowing they had the attention to charge me the $335.00 for the first visit. The total cost would be $565.00. However, shortly after paying $565.00, I received another payment notice afterward of $335.00. The total costs to replace an outside flood light I provided and existing wiring that took less than an hour cost $900.00. I share this with you all, so this does not happen to you. The first service was at least a month and a half before the second service to correct the problem. There is no way I would have requested their service if I had received the first service bill. The service was going to be $565.00 in total. I have attached some pictures of the two jobs. Needs to say, I am looking for excellent and honest electric company services.

That fix lasted five minutes while they drove off. I called to have Tech back but they refused and instead talked about additional charges and talked about coming back days later ? By end of day my home electric issue was fixed (By a different reputable company) for half the amount of money Martella charged. ​I called their dispatchures 2 x this week to get a refund instead got the run around. I did not want to write a bad review but this incompetent Martella outfit left me know choice to report along with filing complaint to the Better Business Bureau. Martella is the worst.
