Upon further investigation, I learned how it all works post speaking with the staff member. First off, the pinball exterior machines are ran by a totally different company than Starcade and all those machines are .25 cents each. Starcade is stucked inside the former giant main restaurant of Keg and Case which offers unlimited gaming for $20. All the machines are set to free play after you pay the fee. There is a bar serving basic snacks such as chips, pizza and on tap local sodas. The liquor license was just recently obtained and the staff seems to think this will get rolling out within the next few months. I'm not a gamer, yet I can tell you lots of games exist vs. just pinball like the exterior. Inside Starcade, you will find both a main level and upstairs (where the former brewery was). It's dark, there are fun twinkle lights and LED signs. Starcade used to be located within Rosedale Mall so come give a warm welcome to them as they lay roots in Saint Paul! I look forward to returning and trying some games. It has a Can Can Wonderland feel but less complex. I'm very glad the building is getting used as it's a beautiful venue. Enjoy!

Their game card is very confusing. You buy a $50 card, but it only has 25 points on it. But it gives you unlimited use of some of the experiential games. So we wasted a lot of time upfront trying to figure that out. Front desk staff was helpful, but in general, the supervising teenagers there were aloof and just doing their jobs. They have a small grill and the food was surprisingly good. My husband had an excellent hamburger with french fries and the kids and I each had small individual size pizzas which were very good. I asked the kids to rate it while we were in the car and they gave it five stars. But when they compared it to Dave & Buster's, they gave it no stars to Dave & Buster's 10 stars. I give it overall four stars and I'm taking a Star away because the bathrooms were dirty and 3 out of 4 bathrooms none of the water was working in the sinks so we couldn't wash our hands. They win on Dodge cars, laser tag, and decent snacks.

Bowlero Lakeville Rocks for Birthday Parties!…read more We just had the BEST 10th birthday party for our son Jaycen at Bowlero Lakeville this past Saturday! They reserved 3 bowling lanes for our group of 17 kids and a few adults, which was perfect. Food & Drinks: We opted for their party package and it was fantastic. The chicken tenders, fries, pizza, hot dogs, chips & salsa, and chocolate chip cookie cake were a huge hit with the kids (and adults!). There was also unlimited soda (Pepsi products) which kept everyone happy and hydrated. Amazing Staff: A huge shoutout to Felicia, the General Manager, and Jenna, the Event Manager. They were both phenomenal! Felicia was on top of everything, making sure our party ran smoothly. We were so impressed to see her helping Jenna clean up after the party - that kind of leadership doesn't go unnoticed! She was incredibly friendly and truly made Jaycen's birthday special. Both Felicia and Jenna checked in with us constantly to make sure we had everything we needed - they were on point! Fun for Everyone: The kids even got arcade game cards loaded with funds to play with, and Felicia and Jenna encouraged them to enjoy both bowling and the arcade games. They were incredibly patient with all the excited boys running around. Taking it Home: After the party, Jenna helped us gather all the leftover food and provided boxes so we could take it home (seriously, enough food for days!). Overall Experience: This was an absolute slam dunk of a birthday party! Felicia's management and Jenna's event coordination made it such a success. Felicia absolutely deserves recognition for her fantastic leadership, and Jenna for her excellent service. They were both amazing and so easy to work with. Thank you, Bowlero Lakeville! P.S.
