The food was nice, we had breakfast when we came here since we were going to visit our family but we were a bit hungry; so we ate. I totally recommend going to "Wow! Zone". And also the picture is true people don't even say "bless you" anymore they just look at you in that way. :0

Well, the food here is mostly good, especially the pizzas, that is, if you can track down a server amongst the chaos. I should say, if you go into the bar/restaurant area, chances are the chaos is less, however, not absent. The atmosphere feels like an early teenager who had too much sugar and caffeine. If you choose the bowling area, it can be hit or miss if someone actually recognizes that you exist. Otherwise, the server that eventually took our order walked by us 5 times before I had to open field tackle her to get her attention. I had the spinach artichoke dip with pita. Unfortunately it wasn't very good. The pita chips were over cooked and had a weird aftertaste, the artichoke dip looked promising with all sorts of spinach and artichokes peaking out, but the taste also wasn't very good. Almost like it was freezer burnt and old. Had a slice of pizza, still pretty good! All that being said, if you are shy and not adventurous, this place will pose a challenge. For those of you who are former Defensive Backs, it should be easy to navigate. Have fun

Golf Zone - I will come back to this mini golf effort

If you're looking for a spot where little kids can feel like PGA champs (with a lot of parental…read moreassist), this indoor mini golf course is a gem. The vibe is part Northwoods cabin, part whimsical putt-putt wonderland--with twinkle lights overhead, fake pine trees, and just enough obstacles to keep it interesting without causing a tiny human meltdown. The highlight? Watching my kiddo in his sunhat take his "pro swing" with a bright orange putter--while Dad provided a hands-on golf lesson that was equal parts adorable and chaotic. (Note: teaching patience on a par-2 hole is an Olympic-level parenting event.) Course is clean, staff was friendly, and the layout made it easy to play without constantly bumping into other families. Bonus points for the fact that it's indoors--so Minnesota weather can't ruin your plans. Would I recommend? Absolutely. Whether you're chasing hole-in-ones or just trying to get a kid to hit the ball in the general direction of the cup, it's a win for all ages. I'll be back for the driving range later. Try them out!

The atmosphere is calm and quiet, which makes it easy to enjoy without feeling rushed or crowded. The driving range is a great deal in the summer for $18 for an hour--well worth it for the quality of the facility and the overall experience. We've also tried the mini golf, which is super easy and casual, but still a lot of fun (and super affordable too). Whether you're looking to get some practice in or just hang out with friends, Golf Zone is a solid choice.

We were…read morechatting with a dad at a local outdoor playground and he mentioned GNG as a new-ish spot he brings his toddler to. After the heat took its toll, we decided to head over to GNG for some indoor fun. It is located in the midst of a sea of warehouses but you're not lost...it has a huge jungle gym space that requires those tall ceilings. The space is clean, as are the restrooms, with hand sanitizer throughout as well. There are snacks, drinks, and coffee for purchase. The prices are affordable and we opted for the $15 combo passes for the three kids to play in the gym and play 18 holes of mini golf. The play space is enclosed with socks required, so bring those with you (or purchase at GNG). There is an abundance of seating for parents to sit outside the play space or you can go in at no cost as a spectator. Our kids (7 & 11) loved both the jungle gym and the mini golf. There was no one in the large mini golf area and it is black lit and decorated in a pirate and nautical theme that was a lot of fun. I honestly would come back here to play mini golf without my kids with friends or my spouse. With kids was great, too, but the mini golf is also adult-friendly. The arcade was extremely expensive and not worth it, in our opinion. Makes sense, as they likely also pay a game rental company for use of the games. The one item our kids had success with and happiness from was a rubber duck claw machine that guarantees a winner. In general, this was an amazing place that we can't wait to come back to when we are back in town. Amazing find. Thanks, park dad!

The paved paths make for an easy and accessible walk, suitable for a quick escape or a leisurely stroll. What really stood out to me was how quiet it felt. Even with buildings in the background, the park feels remarkably peaceful. The gentle sound of water, the rustling of leaves, and the overall calm let you forget you're in a busy area. It's a fantastic bubble of serenity. The scenery mixes urban sophistication with natural beauty. Modern buildings create a sleek backdrop for the beautifully designed waterways and landscaped grounds. Even without full bloom, you can see a real commitment to diverse plants here. I can't wait for a return visit in the spring! I can only imagine how bright and colorful it gets when everything is in full bloom. If you want a peaceful place to clear your mind, enjoy some fresh air, and take a nice walk, Centennial Lakes is a must-visit. Whether you have 15 minutes or an hour, it's the perfect spot. I left feeling refreshed and energized. I can't wait to see it come to life in the spring!

It was way fancier than I'd been expecting from just finding it on the map on Google. I read on the historical plaque that it was designed in 1988 to replace some old gravel pit! Considering how gorgeous it is, that was a really good choice. I got the feeling from how many folks were enjoying the grounds that this park is a staple of the area for communal recreation. It is very much built into the cityscape to reside alongside it. You won't be escaping the buildings and roads nearby, but still, it was a nice bit of natural relief. The primary attraction this time of year is the ice skating between three man made lakes and paths between them. Rentals were available at the warming house, which also had a concessions stand (reasonably affordable fare!), restrooms, water fountain, lockers, and ample benches to put on your skates or warm up awhile (with two fireplaces on either end). There were also exterior restrooms for when the building itself isn't open, which are available year round (the outdoor water fountain though was understandably switched off). During other seasons there is apparently golf, fishing, and paddle boat rentals. Cute! Towards the south end sits an amphitheatre. There are various sculptures along the outer path to see as well, including a giant pine cone, crane, a golden retriever ready to shake your hand, and more. Lots of benches and even swinging benches to rest and relax. Plenty of maps at intervals. The park connects to the Edina Promenade pedestrian/bike trail that goes north and east. I think next time I'm in the area, I'll take a stroll down them. In the future I believe there are plans to connect them to other sections. There's plenty of parking to choose from in any of the nearby shopping centers with garages, but I believe there's also parking specific to the park as well.
