Upon further investigation, I learned how it all works post speaking with the staff member. First off, the pinball exterior machines are ran by a totally different company than Starcade and all those machines are .25 cents each. Starcade is stucked inside the former giant main restaurant of Keg and Case which offers unlimited gaming for $20. All the machines are set to free play after you pay the fee. There is a bar serving basic snacks such as chips, pizza and on tap local sodas. The liquor license was just recently obtained and the staff seems to think this will get rolling out within the next few months. I'm not a gamer, yet I can tell you lots of games exist vs. just pinball like the exterior. Inside Starcade, you will find both a main level and upstairs (where the former brewery was). It's dark, there are fun twinkle lights and LED signs. Starcade used to be located within Rosedale Mall so come give a warm welcome to them as they lay roots in Saint Paul!
