The online pictures will draw you in but once you arrive it's like oh okay we here now. The kids will get bored after a hour. I paid for the 3 hour pass and they literally was ready to go after 1 hour and a half.

    Mini bowling. Deceptively FUN!

We stopped at The Fun Lab on a Sunday afternoon after brunch. 4 30+ year old women. We were looking for a little extension of our meal and The Fun Lab was a great place for that. We did some mini bowling and one dark virtual ride. The mini bowling is deceptively hard, but super fun. And the virtual ride had us laughing! We all have varying degrees of motion sickness, but the ride was fun and not motion sickness inducing for any of us. We met the owner, Jim, who was very nice. We had one issue with some pins not dropping in mini-bowling, he promptly helped us and comped a round for the trouble. He made great recommendations for adults coming in without kids, but also pointed out items to keep in mind for future visits. Already planning a trip back with the kids.

Fun, fun, fun!!! I took my nephews to the Fun Lab the day after Christmas. We arrived shortly after their open time to avoid lines. The Fun Lab offers many fun activities for people of all ages. It somewhat reminds me of a smaller version of the big thrill factory. My nephews really enjoyed the virtual reality and XD ride!! I'm sure they would have just spent the entire 2 hours on those activities. I went on the XD ride with them and I was pretty impressed!!! We did the Zombie game which was pretty cool. The Fun Lab also offers a pretty full menu of various food items including adult beverages. The only slight disappointment during our visit was not all the games were staffed. It appeared some staff had to jump back and forth between multiple attractions. Other then that we had a great time!!!!!!! Check it out!

The Fun Lab! Rope obstacle course, bumper cars, games. Lots of fun.

Super cool place! Not your run of the mill trampoline/ChuckE Cheese kind of thing. Virtual reality games, cosmic bumper cars, beer and wine, really nice laser tag room, Walking Dead game, mini bowling. They have one of those rope obstacle courses like the one at MOA. We came with kids 4-18 and two adults and everyone had a blast. There's a huge jungle gym in the middle for smaller kids and that kept the little ones busy while the older kids played games. They have this laser maze room where you have to navigate through lasers with varying degrees of difficulty. That was really fun. None of us had ever seen that before. They had several large, private party rooms too. The decor inside is more tasteful than most indoor activity places I've been to also. The food was really good as well. They bread their own hot wings, make their own sauces etc. It's not greasy junk like these places usually have. I normally hate taking my kids to these kind of things and honestly, I'd do a work party here, it was that nice. Would definitely recommend.

Fun for the whole family. Staffing was amazing the wait staff tossed half of our food away while I was getting to container. When I told them I was not finished they made us a small order very nIce. They will match your Groupon price nice to know. Overall my grand kids love it so did I .

Virtual Reality - choose from 4 or more different games!

Very fun! A climbing gym like they have at MOA. Lots of virtual reality games that I've never seen anywhere else. And the food is good too.

I have been here 3 times, all for team building events. We've fought zombies and dragons together…read more But also competed against each other in Squidgames. After check in, the staff gets everyone suited up with vests, wrist and ankle sensors, helmet with speakers and microphone, VR headset and weapon of choice (which can vary depending on which game you play). Every Avatar gets linked into game by the staffer and then time for starts for fighting, screaming, swearing and sweating. 30 mins might not seem like a long time to play but by the end, you will be out of breath and your arms and fingers will be tired and sore. You can see, talk to and hear each other in the VR world. It's actually kind of cool and the only time I will be skinny! After your session is complete and once everyone's gear is removed, the staff will gather all to watch a highlights reel of what you just did together. The video will show you who fit the high score, what y'all looked like in the VR world but also how ridiculous y'all looked in the game room. And you'll leave knowing you had the best time. Other things to note: there are open cubbies in the game room for your belongings (coats and purses) but they are not lockers! You must trust that no one is going to steal anything but there are cameras everywhere. So there's that. Also, I was nervous the first time because I'm a Plus Size woman and didn't want to be embarrassed for any gear not fitting. But keep in mind these are unisex, so things will also fit bigger men too. Do not worry if you're size 24 Women's clothing or have a bigger chest.....the vest and ankle sensors will fit. Can't wait for my 4th game!

We had played at the Edina location before and thought it was great, but the Roseville Sandbox really impressed us. The employees there were much more hands-on and helpful than the ones in Edina. They took the time to show us how things worked, walked us through the games, and gave great recommendations. I was very happy with the variety of VR experiences they offered. We chose Deadwood Phobia because the kids, my wife, and I all enjoy scary and horror-themed movies and games. The staff member helping us showed us the best way to put on our gear and made sure we were comfortable. Another employee helped once we got into the room, explaining the red line boundary and how to call for assistance if we needed it. He even took photos for us and made sure our helmets and weapons were properly adjusted. Once the game started, there was a storyline that pulled us right in, and things got intense fast. We had a blast fighting off zombies coming from every direction, and the bosses were no joke. It really took teamwork and communication since we had to heal each other whenever someone got attacked. It is a bit on the pricey side, but the experience was absolutely worth it. The customer service from those two young men made everything even better. We will definitely be back with more family next time.
