Mini bowling. Deceptively FUN!

We stopped at The Fun Lab on a Sunday afternoon after brunch. 4 30+ year old women. We were looking for a little extension of our meal and The Fun Lab was a great place for that. We did some mini bowling and one dark virtual ride. The mini bowling is deceptively hard, but super fun. And the virtual ride had us laughing! We all have varying degrees of motion sickness, but the ride was fun and not motion sickness inducing for any of us. We met the owner, Jim, who was very nice. We had one issue with some pins not dropping in mini-bowling, he promptly helped us and comped a round for the trouble. He made great recommendations for adults coming in without kids, but also pointed out items to keep in mind for future visits. Already planning a trip back with the kids.

Fun, fun, fun!!! I took my nephews to the Fun Lab the day after Christmas. We arrived shortly after their open time to avoid lines. The Fun Lab offers many fun activities for people of all ages. It somewhat reminds me of a smaller version of the big thrill factory. My nephews really enjoyed the virtual reality and XD ride!! I'm sure they would have just spent the entire 2 hours on those activities. I went on the XD ride with them and I was pretty impressed!!! We did the Zombie game which was pretty cool. The Fun Lab also offers a pretty full menu of various food items including adult beverages. The only slight disappointment during our visit was not all the games were staffed. It appeared some staff had to jump back and forth between multiple attractions. Other then that we had a great time!!!!!!! Check it out!

The Fun Lab! Rope obstacle course, bumper cars, games. Lots of fun.

Super cool place! Not your run of the mill trampoline/ChuckE Cheese kind of thing. Virtual reality games, cosmic bumper cars, beer and wine, really nice laser tag room, Walking Dead game, mini bowling. They have one of those rope obstacle courses like the one at MOA. We came with kids 4-18 and two adults and everyone had a blast. There's a huge jungle gym in the middle for smaller kids and that kept the little ones busy while the older kids played games. They have this laser maze room where you have to navigate through lasers with varying degrees of difficulty. That was really fun. None of us had ever seen that before. They had several large, private party rooms too. The decor inside is more tasteful than most indoor activity places I've been to also. The food was really good as well. They bread their own hot wings, make their own sauces etc. It's not greasy junk like these places usually have. I normally hate taking my kids to these kind of things and honestly, I'd do a work party here, it was that nice. Would definitely recommend.

Fun for the whole family. Staffing was amazing the wait staff tossed half of our food away while I was getting to container. When I told them I was not finished they made us a small order very nIce. They will match your Groupon price nice to know. Overall my grand kids love it so did I .

Virtual Reality - choose from 4 or more different games!

Very fun! A climbing gym like they have at MOA. Lots of virtual reality games that I've never seen anywhere else. And the food is good too.

She likes claw arcades…read more Down the street from my house too, I've driven past this place so many times and had not checked them out. Cute little arcade, they have 2 rows of claw machines to play, some claw machine requires 1 to 3 tokens. Depending on how big the teddy bears are. Once you enter, you're greeted by the cashier that explains everything. The tokens are $1 each, the more you purchase will get extra. For example I chose $30 and I received 35 tokens. Cashier handed us the tokens in a basket and clear bag for your winnings. Once you're done playing, you can trade the stuffed animals for something else behind the counter. Fun place for kids or dates.

I don't remember the rest, but I saw $10 for 10 tokens or $20 for 25 tokens. Those are the prices I was looking at. It turns out I spent a total of $40. It's a great place for little kids. You are given a bag to keep all of the plush in. The win ratio was good too. I think in 45 minutes, I had 13 plushies total + 1 keychain, and I traded 10 plush for a giant Jigglypuff. I wish all the machines were one token, but some were 1, 2, or 4 tokens. (Like Spiderman was 2 tokens...) Prize trade-in was good. The highest cost was 12 plushies. The big one like Jigglypuff was 10. The next was 5 plushies. They also have some Pop Mart items in a shelf. No labubu. Check out their Facebook page or Instagram for hour updates. They just went into their summer hours. Unfortunately, Yelp won't let me suggest an edit for a Facebook or Instagram link.

This was my second time at this location and I am keeping my rating the same! This place is…read moreawesome! But let's dive in! This is a high end place, so it's going to be expensive to bowl! Decided to take a family of 4 bowling on Christmas Eve and it was over $100 to rent the lane for 2 hours and the bowling shoes. My kids are 5 and 9 and 2 hours was truly perfect! We were able to do around 4 games. Depends on how fast you bowl. We decided to get some drinks. The prices for even just a regular soda are insane! $5 for a Mt Dew that doesn't get a refill? And is full with ice? No. Haha We also got the cotton candy lemonade and dragon fruit lemonade. These tasted so cheap and VERY sweet. The lemonade is not tart. That was even MORE expensive. The pretzels with cheese are what you would buy at Walmart but marked way up. Again not worth it at all! May be the pitcher of soda and pizza would be better for a family? The vibes here are very fun! Large projectors with games on, fun music and everything was clean! Everyone we encountered was very friendly! At one point, one of the bowling balls got stuck in the gutter and an employee came out quick to fix it! There is an arcade, a pool table, bags/corn hole and plenty of spots to sit. This is a super fun place to go! I personally will be eating before I go next time!

Cheap Skate - Fun for kids & adults!

Cheap Skate

(32 reviews)

Things to know:…read more 1)There's a a fee to enter and another to rent skates. Because I was accompanying kids and didn't plan to skate, there was no entry fee. 2) There's an online schedule showing the different event times, and when applicable target ages. We brought my partners kids on a Thursday during the 5p-7:30p slot because 8-10p was 21+ (that day). The 5p slot didnt list ages, but tuns out it was mostly little kids. Additional teens and older people started showing up later, but still seemed younger age focused (with group games like hula hoop). 3) There's a decent number of arcade games for the space. If you don't have quarters, you can use the change machine. While the assortment of games was good, my gripe is that we counted 84 tickets won playing. However their ticket counting machine only accounted for 66. While the experience was okay, I think it's a nice option with a good selection of music, decent sized rink, fair pricing (cant speak for concessions) and a nostalgic feel. Check it out for yourself.

Cheap Skate does have certain hours so be sure to call ahead or check online. I believe there are hours for family/kids and some evening for just adults. So fun for everyone. I was able to purchase tickets online but you do need to check-in when you get there despite the check-in on the online scannable ticket. I took my kiddos for some skating fun and oh how it brought back memories! Cheap Skate has a 90s feel to it but with all the hip music of nowadays. A great workout and all around fun. The cost to skate isn't bad but like anything now-a-days you for pay for everything. In addition to the fee to get in and skate, there is a rental skate fee, locker fee, and obviously arcade, bouncy houses, and food. Speaking of food we got some icees, soda, pizza, and ice cream. Pretty pricey for what it was but for an easy access to food without leaving - exactly what you'd expect. The screens telling you what you can order either weren't working or not turned on properly when I went to order (about an hour in) so I had to ask what food items were available. My kids weren't interested in the bouncy house or the arcade although as a typical arcade there are tickets where you can exchange for prizes. We had so much fun and we were so exhausted by the end. Overall, I would highly recommend if you're looking indoor fun.
