Visited the fun lab on a Sunday and was surprised at how empty the place was this was great for us and our first visit. We walked in unsure what to do and stood next to two staff at the front desk for a couple minutes before being greeted. We used our explorer pass from Groupon which allowed for a visit do try most of the attractions. A lot of stuff was broken (laser tag maze, laser tag vests, games, blowers in the ball area) or no staff were available to let us know how to use it. What we could use was fun the bumper cars and arcade were favorites for our five year old. We purchased an additional pass for the bumper cars he had to go again. Well, my kids loved it here! They attended a birthday party here and a school field trip. This is quite the drive from Minneapolis, but its their only location. The volume decibel is 10/10 at all times. Sully from Monsters Inc. Would be so excited to collect all the screams from here! However, adults can get pitcher of beer ora glass on tap. Order drinks or food in the back from the Food Lab. There are so many kid food options! There are many sections of this large space to explore. Kids can try out bumper cars, laser tag, playground, ball pit, VR games, air hockey, claw machines, arcade games and more! Charge each hand to your card which connects points to purchase stuff from the store at the end if you want. Lastly, you buy a package as your ticket to get in. Each package offers access to some or all of the areas to play during your time here. The price goes up the more you have access to. Same as the birthday packages. First time coming with my kids, 7 and 9. We had a great time, spent about 2.5 hours here on a Thursday, not crowded at all, no lines for anything but it was well-staffed and all the staff were so nice. We did the $18.99 nutty professor weekday deal with $7 ropes course add-on. Highly recommend the ropes course, which was the highlight of their day, and I could tell it really built their confidence! Kids also enjoyed the laser beam challenge, the valloroom game, and bumper ride. We didn't do the arcade or the VR but it was still plenty and the kids were super happy to spend the afternoon here! Horrible experience! Broken games. Over run with field trip kids. Garbage overflowing. Dirty bathrooms. Owner said to come back later so we did and it wasn't any better. Fun place that a lot of activities are packed into. Not a large place considering the amount of different things packed in. Arcade games (mostly ticket games), an indoor playground (with a ball shooting portion too), laser maze, laser tag, VR games, bumper cars, XD Dark ride interactive shooting game, ropes course, mini bowling, and some food options. We didn't get food this time, had pizza on a previous visit, but don't really remember any details or impressions. This is usually a very fun place, but there was a very unsociable worker in the food bar on Sunday May 26th. We couldn't find any workers back there at first, had another employee check outside in the smoke area for them. When she did finally come in to work, she was in no way pleasant. Really fun place with friendly and helpful staff. It was clean and everything was working. While we were there, there was a large party of unruly kids whose parents let them run wild - it quickly got out of hand, forcing the early closure of the restaurant area. Perhaps a roving monitor would help when there are large parties? It didn't impact us - we had a great time! 3 hours is enough. Overall a great place for the 3-12 crowd. read more

We stopped at The Fun Lab on a Sunday afternoon after brunch. 4 30+ year old women. We were looking for a little extension of our meal and The Fun Lab was a great place for that. We did some mini bowling and one dark virtual ride. The mini bowling is deceptively hard, but super fun. And the virtual ride had us laughing! We all have varying degrees of motion sickness, but the ride was fun and not motion sickness inducing for any of us. We met the owner, Jim, who was very nice. We had one issue with some pins not dropping in mini-bowling, he promptly helped us and comped a round for the trouble. He made great recommendations for adults coming in without kids, but also pointed out items to keep in mind for future visits. Already planning a trip back with the kids. read more

Fun, fun, fun!!! I took my nephews to the Fun Lab the day after Christmas. We arrived shortly after their open time to avoid lines. The Fun Lab offers many fun activities for people of all ages. It somewhat reminds me of a smaller version of the big thrill factory. My nephews really enjoyed the virtual reality and XD ride!! I'm sure they would have just spent the entire 2 hours on those activities. I went on the XD ride with them and I was pretty impressed!!! We did the Zombie game which was pretty cool. The Fun Lab also offers a pretty full menu of various food items including adult beverages. The only slight disappointment during our visit was not all the games were staffed. Super cool place! Not your run of the mill trampoline/ChuckE Cheese kind of thing. Virtual reality games, cosmic bumper cars, beer and wine, really nice laser tag room, Walking Dead game, mini bowling. They have one of those rope obstacle courses like the one at MOA. We came with kids 4-18 and two adults and everyone had a blast. There's a huge jungle gym in the middle for smaller kids and that kept the little ones busy while the older kids played games. They have this laser maze room where you have to navigate through lasers with varying degrees of difficulty. That was really fun. None of us had ever seen that before. They had several large, private party rooms too. The decor inside is more tasteful than most indoor activity places I've been to also. The food was really good as well. They bread their own hot wings, make their own sauces etc. It's not greasy junk like these places usually have. I normally hate taking my kids to these kind of things and honestly, I'd do a work party here, it was that nice. Would definitely recommend. read more

This is one of our favorite places in Blaine. There is something for all ages of kids, and my son loves to spend time here. His favorite is the virtual reality, followed closely by the bumper cars, shooting the balls in the play area, and the arcade games. Something for everyone - all in one place! For the littles, check out the ball blaster/climbing maze, mini bowling and Virtual Reality Penguin game. School age kids will enjoy the full arcade, ropes course, laser maze (think mission impossible, ducking under laser beams to complete the mission), Dark Ride XD, and spinning bumper cars. As an adult, I loved the VR Zombie experience - super realistic and scary fun! I also really enjoyed the 2 level laser tag. Really upscale decor and a fun restaurant with awesome food. It was terrible, they shut me out three times while trying to play the VR. We couldn't play the laser tag because of people and their birthday parties and the way they set it up. The VR took about 30 mins before the next birthday party, and The laser tag took 30 mins in general to just finish. 1 star terrible customer service and way too expensive. read more

We got cards for the attractions but not enough employees to run the attractions so we couldn't even use most of them. They didn't clean the holligate goggles in between people so I was hesitant. Very fun! A climbing gym like they have at MOA. Lots of virtual reality games that I've never seen anywhere else. And the food is good too.
