Coming to the Mermaid is a special treat for our kids, who enjoy bumper bowling and the arcade games. Mom and Dad like all the craft beer options they have on tap and the solid pepperoni pizza. First of all, I wouldn't have even waited the first 15mins had I know all this from the start - we would've just went to the bowling side first. I told the manager that we were going to go to the bowling side, to which he replied they are also busy so we probably won't get a spot - literally a 2min wait and we were set with three lanes. The good part - our waitress at the bowling alley, she was great and the bowling staff was super helpful and nice! After about 30mins, the manager comes to find us at the bowling alley, to ask us if we wanted those tables again...uh no, we are already seated? So when I said no thank you, he laughed in annoyance and walked off.

The front desk staff is very very friendly. They say hello every time we come in. I had made a special request about my room and they fulfilled the request. The rooms are clean. The facility is clean. I think it's been newly remodeled because it looks very nice and modern. We went down to the breakfast today and it was excellent. Lots of choices. We went down an hour and a half into the breakfast service and sometimes by that time there's not much food. It was plenty of food. We will definitely stay here again.
