What a great little spot! ClawZone Park in Bloomington was such a fun surprise. We stopped by with our 7-year-old, and he had a blast. There's a solid variety of claw games--something for every type of player, from the casual grabber to the strategic claw master. While we didn't try the VR or the human claw machine (yes, that's a thing--and it looked wild!), both definitely added to the fun vibe and made us want to come back. But the real MVP here? The staff. Seriously. They were friendly, patient, and genuinely made the experience better. It's rare these days to find places where the people working there actually seem to care--and it really made a difference. Highly recommend for a quick family outing or a fun detour if you're in the area. We'll definitely be back (and next time, we're trying that human claw machine!).

I am so excited to have a claw arcade so close, finally! The prizes are cute, the claw machines are winnable, the staff is fantastic and always willing to "fluff up" the plushies for you and the trade up items are great! Great place for kids, for date night or for friends to get together! The prices are fair at one coin per play with a few being two but for bigger plushies. Claw machines and Virtual Reality. We only played the claw machines. They have several unique claw machines and numerous normal claw machines. Most machines are one token. $1 = 1 token, but they have deals where the more tokens you buy, the cheaper they are. You can keep what you win or trade them in for a bigger prize. We will be returning for sure. We went the first day they opened. I hope they get more prizes to trade up for. It also would be nice if they came up with a way to bank your winnings so we could work our way up to an extra large prize over time.

    Teamwork during the human claw!

Very friendly staff. Claw games are full of toys and the games feel winnable. Kids had fun hanging out and playing games. Will be back.

Awesome owners; so sweet to my son who is NOT coordinated, making sure he went home with a prize. We will definitely be coming back.

My kids love claw machines from our travels in Asia so they were excited to see this so close to home.

Upon further investigation, I learned how it all works post speaking with the staff member. First off, the pinball exterior machines are ran by a totally different company than Starcade and all those machines are .25 cents each. Starcade is stucked inside the former giant main restaurant of Keg and Case which offers unlimited gaming for $20. All the machines are set to free play after you pay the fee. There is a bar serving basic snacks such as chips, pizza and on tap local sodas. The liquor license was just recently obtained and the staff seems to think this will get rolling out within the next few months. I'm not a gamer, yet I can tell you lots of games exist vs. just pinball like the exterior. Inside Starcade, you will find both a main level and upstairs (where the former brewery was). It's dark, there are fun twinkle lights and LED signs. Starcade used to be located within Rosedale Mall so come give a warm welcome to them as they lay roots in Saint Paul! I look forward to returning and trying some games. It has a Can Can Wonderland feel but less complex. I'm very glad the building is getting used as it's a beautiful venue. Enjoy!

All entrants pay an admission fee (kids under 5 years are free), and all video games, kids rides, and older-style games are free to play. Mini golf and some other activities are Ala carte. There is street parking and an underground parking lot, but, on weekends, parking can be tough to find. There is a cafe to purchase food. Options are flatbreads, baskets, tacos, and more. The food quality is pretty good, but pricey. I get it. The place probably has large overhead costs, so a business needs to make its margins. There is also a beverage wall with various kinds of drinks (mostly-all (?) alcoholic), which are self-pour. I forgot to take photos. Trust me when I say the place is very unique and is great to check out. Pros: - Great place to bring kids - The older-style games are very amusing Cons: - Food is on the pricier side

It was explained to me that the whole thing was run off an iPad in the back room. We went for New Year's Eve had a lovely time, food was great as usual. They even brought out one of my favourite pinball machines as a request. The only thing I could knock a star down for was I paid over $10 for probably the worst milkshake I've ever had. Seriously, the milkshake wasn't much thicker than water. And it was very small. Other than that, I'll just remember not to get the ice cream next time. The best thing about Can-Can Wonderland is the fact that it's a real arcade, not a kiddie ticket casino. And in the evening it becomes a very nice adults only place but still doesn't feel like you're gonna get in a bar fight but you can simply just have a good time..

Although the entree was a little pricey my experience was really enjoyable. The mini trampoline park was fun, and it burned lots of calories - lol. My younger brother learned how to do a backflip. At the trampolines there was supervision by workers and other parents. At the arcade there were many few games that I wanted to play, but I am very picky. Laser tag wasn't really that fun, but only because we went against 4 really good guys. I ended up with negative points because of them . Mini golf is a fun family activity to do with your family! There are water hazards and many of the golf balls were the water which I thought was really funny. It's not even that hard to have your ball land in the water! We didn't try the batting cages but it looked super cool. They had bats and helmets already there for the guests. Near the end of our stay at the grand slam we were tired so we ordered 2 large icee's. The icee machine was frozen and couldn't make the icee's. So the workers gave us a free large soda. I wasn't that mad at the situation. Over all I give this experience a 5 star ranking! A wonderful family friendly place to go in your free time!

This time it was a disaster. Completely overrun by little kids who treated the course like a playground. Some had parents who were present and not trying to keep any order. In fact, we had adults just standing around the holes we were playing. When I asked one lady if she could move, she asked why! People were running around randomly playing--total chaos. An employee walked through and did nothing. If I was looking for a jungle gym for my small children, ok, but DO NOT COME HERE TO PLAY A ROUND OF MINI GOLF. You can't!

The game itself is a mix of lacrosse and number cars - even more fun than I expected, and our group of ~30 year olds plus some parents had a blast. They also have an arcade, bowling, and an escape room - plus probably other stuff I missed! They had tables you could book/reserve which is nice and service drinks and food like pizzas.

I actually enjoyed the birria taco with the consumes. The flavors were there. I think it was evenly balanced out. More meat is always great, but I don't think it was lacking. My son had the tenders, which was OK. The bartenders were also the servers. One bartender particularly was extremely nice and efficient. Both nights we went there were not too busy, but a fair amount of customers. We had a great time and were able to roam around to see what they had to offer.
