    The entrance to the arcade

We wanted to go check out this crane arcade and seen they have a human crane available. We didn't partake in the action, the kiddos were hoping the pool was filled up with snacks like Asia. Otherwise we purchased tokens and played the crane games for prizes. We won some teddy bears and snacks and traded them in for Labubu dolls. The trade up options are more desirable then the teddy bears in the games. So each teddy bear is 1 point, otherwise you can accumulate them once you have many to trade in. They also have a membership program to join as well. Check them out, they are located in a strip mall and have plenty to parking.

What a great little spot! ClawZone Park in Bloomington was such a fun surprise. We stopped by with our 7-year-old, and he had a blast. There's a solid variety of claw games--something for every type of player, from the casual grabber to the strategic claw master. While we didn't try the VR or the human claw machine (yes, that's a thing--and it looked wild!), both definitely added to the fun vibe and made us want to come back. But the real MVP here? The staff. Seriously. They were friendly, patient, and genuinely made the experience better. It's rare these days to find places where the people working there actually seem to care--and it really made a difference. Highly recommend for a quick family outing or a fun detour if you're in the area. We'll definitely be back (and next time, we're trying that human claw machine!).

I am so excited to have a claw arcade so close, finally! The prizes are cute, the claw machines are winnable, the staff is fantastic and always willing to "fluff up" the plushies for you and the trade up items are great! Great place for kids, for date night or for friends to get together! The prices are fair at one coin per play with a few being two but for bigger plushies. Virtual Reality

Claw machines and Virtual Reality. We only played the claw machines. They have several unique claw machines and numerous normal claw machines. Most machines are one token. $1 = 1 token, but they have deals where the more tokens you buy, the cheaper they are. You can keep what you win or trade them in for a bigger prize. We will be returning for sure. We went the first day they opened. I hope they get more prizes to trade up for. It also would be nice if they came up with a way to bank your winnings so we could work our way up to an extra large prize over time.

My favorite claw arcade! Fun for kids, everyone wins and has a great time. The staff is awesome!

    Teamwork during the human claw!

Awesome owners; so sweet to my son who is NOT coordinated, making sure he went home with a prize. We will definitely be coming back.

My kids love claw machines from our travels in Asia so they were excited to see this so close to home.

Upon further investigation, I learned how it all works post speaking with the staff member. First off, the pinball exterior machines are ran by a totally different company than Starcade and all those machines are .25 cents each. Starcade is stucked inside the former giant main restaurant of Keg and Case which offers unlimited gaming for $20. All the machines are set to free play after you pay the fee. There is a bar serving basic snacks such as chips, pizza and on tap local sodas. The liquor license was just recently obtained and the staff seems to think this will get rolling out within the next few months. I'm not a gamer, yet I can tell you lots of games exist vs. just pinball like the exterior. Inside Starcade, you will find both a main level and upstairs (where the former brewery was). It's dark, there are fun twinkle lights and LED signs. Starcade used to be located within Rosedale Mall so come give a warm welcome to them as they lay roots in Saint Paul! I look forward to returning and trying some games. It has a Can Can Wonderland feel but less complex. I'm very glad the building is getting used as it's a beautiful venue. Enjoy!

They have a full bar with limited seating, two patio areas (one in the front and one in the back, and an upstairs party deck. They have old 80s wrestling playing on the televisions, which took me back to my childhood. The place is full of retro video games, pinball machines, skeeball, and there are a couple of video game consoles. The place has very nice, attentive bar staff. They serve some 80s-themed signature cocktails, such as the TMN Tea, Mike Tyson's Drunk Out, Macha Man Randy Savage and the People's Margarita, and have a huge assortment of tap beer. I tried both and they were really good. The cocktails are stiff and savory. Be careful when ordering some beer, though; some of them are THC-infused. Drinking those may get you in trouble at certain jobs. I got the Princess Peach Punch and Raspberry Cider tap beer. The place has a mixed crowd, age-wise. There were 21-year-olds to 60-year-olds. It was a pretty low-key spot that has specials every night. They have limited food options that feature pizza. There weren't many people there while I was there, but it was still a really fun place. I enjoyed my time there. I recommend checking this spot out.

All entrants pay an admission fee (kids under 5 years are free), and all video games, kids rides, and older-style games are free to play. Mini golf and some other activities are Ala carte. There is street parking and an underground parking lot, but, on weekends, parking can be tough to find. There is a cafe to purchase food. Options are flatbreads, baskets, tacos, and more. The food quality is pretty good, but pricey. I get it. The place probably has large overhead costs, so a business needs to make its margins. There is also a beverage wall with various kinds of drinks (mostly-all (?) alcoholic), which are self-pour. I forgot to take photos. Trust me when I say the place is very unique and is great to check out. Pros: - Great place to bring kids - The older-style games are very amusing Cons: - Food is on the pricier side

It was explained to me that the whole thing was run off an iPad in the back room. We went for New Year's Eve had a lovely time, food was great as usual. They even brought out one of my favourite pinball machines as a request. The only thing I could knock a star down for was I paid over $10 for probably the worst milkshake I've ever had. Seriously, the milkshake wasn't much thicker than water. And it was very small. Other than that, I'll just remember not to get the ice cream next time. The best thing about Can-Can Wonderland is the fact that it's a real arcade, not a kiddie ticket casino. And in the evening it becomes a very nice adults only place but still doesn't feel like you're gonna get in a bar fight but you can simply just have a good time..
