I called said must have been a glitch in system. rescheduled and guy came out and said it would take a couple of weeks for estimate, it's been over 4 weeks now and nothing! This company pratices unethical business at its finest. They refuse to provide a refund for service that was never completed nor ever started. Be ready for multiple cancelations, dodged calls, text, and emails if you decide to proceed with them. To add, don't believe the manager because his words mean nothing, only excuses, lies, empty promises, and shady information from the entire team. I should've taken Yelp reviews more seriously and never went with Zander Solutions. To say that it has been a pain in the @ss is an understatement for my frustration and negative experience. They are building a deck for my daughter. I have built a few decks in my life and these guys are agonizing to watch! Constant delays and fixing errors. Didn't even get a permit before tearing off the old deck. Was quoted 3-4 weeks to complete the project. It has been 3 months and they are still not done. These guys are terrible!!! read more

I had a few issues with leaks after their repairs but they promptly came back and fixed them. Hopefully, no more leaks.

I am extremely disappointed in our experience with Zander. I wanted to love them - they appear to have such a strong reputation, but that was not our experience at all. We hired them, even though they were the higher-cost option, to install 2 egress windows into our basement before we moved in in Summer 2019. Since then, we have taken on a project to remodel our basement and we have learned the following: 1. They did not cut the window large enough to pass code for the bedroom in our basement - which is the whole reason we wanted to put a window in there in the first place. We learned this because the remodeling company that came to build out the bedroom could not get a permit for the room based on their current set up. 2. They did not take care of closing out the project by having their work inspected. Rather, they told us this is our responsibility and we needed to get in touch with the inspector (which has never been my responsibility in all the projects I've done). 3. When we called them about the window being the incorrect size, they passed the buck and said "you'll have to talk to the guy who came on sight" and also commented that it was probably "not their fault" the window was not to code.  In short, I feel taken advantage of. A hole dug into your foundation is not something one can easily fix. At the very least, I would expect Zander to own up to their mistake (mistakes happen) and talk to us about how to make it right. I would strongly recommend finding another company to do your work. read more

We had a good experience with Zander. Our basement got quite a bit of water whenever there was serious rain so we had them come out to bid a drain tile installation. They came, took pictures and educated us about the process. We did have to wait several months before they were able to do the project because of how busy they are, but that seems like the situation for all contractors right now. Daryl led the team that did the work and those guys worked HARD. They put in two long days and hustled the whole time. Daryl was easy to work with and obviously takes pride in his work. The finished work looks good and now I'm waiting for a few days of serious rain to see if the system actually works. I'm assuming it will but will post an update if I'm back in the basement squeegeeing water towards the floor drain after the next serious storm. read more

Had work done almost a year ago. Had radon system put in. Paid in full even though they didn't finish the work. Had to hire someone to do the electrical. now almost a year later they are trying to get another 600 dollars read more

Sent both an email and called and left a message inquiring about setting up radon mitigation with no response to either. Sorry to rate a 1 star, but what kind of business doesn't even reply to their potential customers and is impossible to get ahold of? We had Zander waterproof the exterior of our basement. To the credit of the guys who did the actual waterproofing, it appears that they did a good job. However, everything else about the experience was terrible. We dealt with a rep of Zander who brought in an excavator (named Dana). This excavator made an absurdly huge mess by any and all standards, buried a stack of siding we had off to the side, banged up our electric meter box, and mangled a few other things that should have been well clear of his reach. And then charged us more than agreed up without any notice that the extra charges were going to happen. So, we called the Zander rep and the excavator back out to look at the mess and the damage and discuss the cost issues. When we brought up the issues we were treated very condescendingly, and ultimately Dana stormed off and sat in the truck rather than continue our discussion. Around that point we were sworn at, yelled at, and generally subjected to the absolute WORST customer service I have ever experienced in any circumstances - from someone who expected us to pay them thousands of dollars. Additionally, throughout the entire process (meeting, bidding, scheduling, etc.) the Zander rep was very hard to reach, unresponsive, and always late for our meetings, often significantly and with no notice. In short, utterly abysmal customer service and disrespectful treatment of us as customers. We very strongly advise against using Zander for any service. read more

We got quotes from several contractors in town to do a radon mitigation in our new home. Zander was easy to get a hold of, easy to work with and very straight forward. They talked through everything with us ahead of time so we knew exactly where the piping would be run so as not to interfere with the flow and use of our house. The person who came out to do the work was great. He was professional, thorough and even put plastic down to make a path in the area he was working (so that he wouldn't damage our carpet). The radon is all taken care of in our basement and we are happy customers. Would recommend them for radon mitigation. read more

We added on to our existing home and need to waterproof the new addition and the existing foundation. We used Zander Solutions for the waterproofing. The work was completed on time and all of the employees were very respectful to our home and the neighbors property. Zander came out and attempted to waterproof a portion of our basement. However, the very next rainfall we had water come in. After repeated attempts by my wife to contact them she was rebuffed. My calls and email were also not returned in the agreed upon time frame. When I did finally get a call back they agreed that the work was not completed properly and that someone would need to come out to correct the issue. Unfortunately, they were unwilling to provide a timeline for when the issue would be corrected. I cannot recommend this company due to their poor workmanship at our home and their inability to follow through in the timelines we agreed to. read more

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! They were recommended by a friend so I paid them $1600 to mitigate the radon in my house. Once they were done (and the check cashed) I had to call them 4 times to get them to come back and retest the radon levels. The levels AFTER they did the work were twice as high as it was before they came. 5 phone calls and a month later, J.R. finally came out and decided that I needed a bigger fan so they replaced that for another $300. 4 phone calls and another month later they finally came out to retest - still no drop in the radon levels. Then they told me that I would need to spend another $2600! When I balked I was told that 'radon wasn't an exact science"? Given their poor track record, I declined and sought out another contractor. So now I have to fork out another $800 to a second contractor to evaluate the entire basement and the work done by Zander and it turns out that they didn't seal the plastic to the PVC pipe in one of the crawl spaces so there was no vacuum rendering the entire mitgation system useless! A few pieces of tape later, my radon immediately dropped by HALF! Thank goodness I didn't continue working with Zander because the work that they had intended to charge me $2600 for was in the area of the basement that had an average reading of 1.0 and did not require any mitigation! The second guy seemed pretty pricey but he spent several days testing various parts of my basement/crawl spaces to determine where the source of the rado was PRIOR to doing any work - none of which was done by Zander. I guess this is just one of those you get what your pay for lessons. read more
