Their work is great and they consistently come in at or under budget. I just had them out to repair a couple of things and the guys they sent were all knowledgeable and personable. The lights flickered several times which was at least one time too many. Normally my Lennox unit shrugs that off but not this time. I called All Comfort Services today and they were able to send Monte A. on the same day. He's the man! All he had to do was be in the house and his aura was enough to bring that dead unit back to life! (Seriously!) He said he just checked the outside unit and it seemed to be blowing hot air indicating it was working. Honestly it wasn't working when I checked it the evening before - my aura must be old & tarnished. Like me. Good thing Monte's isn't. Just the trip charge - worth it. I've made a service appointment to get the oil changed and tires rotated on the furnaces and air conditioning unit and I'm certain whomever they send will bring the aura, too. We are comfortable once again.

Recently our water heat needed replacement. I checked Yelp and Madison Choice for suggestions…read more Cardinal was rated high by both so I contacted them for an estimate. First of all, there is a "dispatch fee" of $115 just for someone to come out and look at the heater and provide an estimate. Their replacement estimate was almost double what another contractor charged. In addition there was a lot of upselling of extended warranties, service plans and other items. I did some research on local plumbing contractors and found that many have been bought out by private equity investment companies. Private equity companies like them because they provide an essential service, centralized dispatch and selling boosts margins, and high fragmentation in the industry allows for thousands of multiple add on acquisitions of these contractors. Anyone considering this company please do your research on them. Do not just rely on Yelp since positive recommendations may have been "gamed".

I do not mind the $100 for the service call and maybe ~ 10 paid minutes it took to say we need a new faucet, but I DO MIND paying 50 minutes X $2.00/minute = $100 for a friendly discussion!!
