All is good when they are getting you to sign the contract but their promises fail shortly after they cash your down payment. This was not the case with Lake Country Concrete Specialists. Tom Alioto was very responsive when I called to get an estimate for some concrete work. He arrived at the time he promised. He was very patient answering all of our questions and helping us plan out our patio. Before we made a commitment to use his company he came back a second time to answer additional question. As is for most I have an expectation of people being true to their word and following through with promises. Tom did exactly that with our patio. We were in process of planning a graduation party for my daughter and LCCS made sure that the job was completed as to not interfere with the plans we were making. He did this during what is probably the busiest time for the concrete industry in Wisconsin. When the crew arrived at my home at 7am on a Monday morning I was expecting some half awake workers that were not happy to be up so earlier dreading another back breaking job in the sun. This is the exact opposite of what I experienced. Tom's son and the other men were all extremely polite and very respectful of my family and my property. They took the time to ensure they had a complete understanding of my expectations while setting up for the job. I did not feel rushed or pressured into making quick decisions. They echoed what Tom had stated during our initial visits that they want more than a paycheck, that it is LCCS desire to have happy customers. As I am writing this review I am looking out at our backyard patio. Even thought we decided to go with the standard concrete the way the crew set the forms to follow the landscaping in the yard looks amazing. LCCS has exceeded my expectation and I can be a very hard person to please. I would highly recommend using LCCS for any concrete projects, you will not be disappointed. Chuck

While they were not the least expensive, I selected them after reviewing the job with Christo, the owner. He was very knowledgeable and was straight forward regarding the extent of possible issues that may be uncover when the shingles are removed from such an older building (1929). Christo has an extensive portfolio of quality materials to choose from and his suggestions really helped steer me towards the best possible outcome. The work began very shortly after the paperwork was completed and even after finding that the original roof had 3 layers of failed shingles in some areas, had extensive wood rot at the decking, fascia and soffit areas, needed replacement roof ventilation and also required additional work to remove an old school TV antenna... the roof was completed beautifully and ahead of schedule! Communication was on-going and professional throughout the entire job. The clean up was meticulous and complete. Gutters and downspouts were installed a few days later and the house really looks great! I can 100% recommend 1st Choice Roofing... and have already passed their contact information on to both family and friends.

If not for the straw laid down to help the grass seed, I would not see any signs of their work due to the cleanup they are careful about. Thank you to Steven, Nate and Brandon for their hard work and kindness all along. I had paving stones similar to my last project, so see the photos for examples. This time the work was in a different area of the yard, and it is covered up with straw so pictures don't do much good. However, trust me when I say it is quality work. I highly recommend Dahl's, but get on the schedule asap as they fill up for the season faster than you would hope.

It was removed anyway because it was mistaken for buckthorn. The company replaced it with a much smaller tree and gave us a $100 credit to plant it ourselves. We understand mistakes happen, but better communication between the owner and crew could have prevented this. The lead landscaper, Brandon, told us he "didn't bring his notes." The crushed granite patio has been an ongoing concern. The work was completed and paid for on 5/8. My husband approved it at that time. There was no weed barrier showing through the middle of the patio, though limited areas near the brick border were visible and were discussed before approval. Brandon reassured us that the granite would not shift and that we "should not have any problems with the patio for years." By 5/13, only five days later, weed barrier was showing through in multiple additional spots near the brick border that had not been exposed on 5/8. My husband texted Josh about it. These were newly exposed areas that had not been visible when the work was approved five days earlier. On 5/15, my husband called Josh again with no response. On 5/26, Josh responded to an unrelated fence quote request but did not address the granite concern, despite our saying we were willing to pay for another load of granite. On 6/7, we emailed Josh because several seeded areas had failed to establish despite being watered similarly to areas that did grow. He responded 6/8 saying he would return to reseed, but no date was scheduled. We followed up 6/15. On 6/16, he said staff planned to come that Friday because they were working nearby. It rained, and no one came. On Monday 6/22, Josh emailed that rain prevented the visit and said staff would stop by Wednesday, weather permitting. No one came. On Thursday 6/25, my husband again asked that staff also inspect the patio. On 6/29, after no response, he called again regarding both the patio and reseeding. There was no answer or response. After these repeated attempts to get the issues addressed, I posted this review on July 3rd, 2026. On 7/10, without advance notice from Josh, one of his employees arrived at our property. She did not ring the doorbell or contact us before beginning work. Fortunately, we were home and my husband spoke with her. She looked at the patio and agreed the granite was thin in areas, and said she wanted us to be happy because we had made an investment in our property. She then overseeded several areas. July 16th, Josh responded to my Google review. The granite problem remained unresolved. Within about three months of installation, multiple areas were thin enough that weed barrier was exposed. Our concern is not ordinary maintenance; it is that new exposed areas appeared within days of completion and continued to remain unresolved. On 7/13, Josh emailed that the company would no longer return to our property and referenced my negative Google review in explaining that decision. The review had been posted before his employee came on 7/10 to overseed and evaluate the patio. Several seeded areas failed to establish despite being watered similarly to areas that did grow. The company eventually returned to overseed, but we may now need to hire another contractor to evaluate and correct the remaining unresolved issues. This review reflects our experience, photographs, and documented communications. We understand weather can affect grass and loose materials. Our frustration is with the additional weed barrier becoming exposed within days of completion, repeated attempts to have concerns addressed, the length of time the issues remained unresolved, and ultimately being told in writing that the company would no longer return.

Our prior experience had left us with an unfinished job that didn't meet our expectations. We did not know if our expectations had been unrealistic. Guess what, they weren't!!! Extreme Exteriors came in and completely redid our 1550 sq ft patio for a very fair price, built us a deck and regraded our lawn and seeded. When we originally hired them it was to redo the patio which they discovered had an insufficient base by the other contractor. They quickly came in, pulled up the pavers and the base, redid the base, relaid the pavers in a beautiful pattern and then finished it. It's beautiful!!!! And they were done in two weeks with a deck added!! Because of how nice it looked, the speed of delivery and the professionalism of the owner and his team, we then asked that they quote redoing our lawn, doing a concrete pad for a swim spa and some additional finishing items. 4 weeks and our entire lawn and patio is complete and usable. We are just waiting for the grass to grow. We are now asking them for help with selecting plants and trees. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend them. They are trustworthy, hardworking and knowledgeable. I would joke to my husband about there being 5 guys here and each time I looked out the window they were each actively working!!! If I have other landscaping needs in the future, Extreme Exterior will be the first and only place I will go!!

I'm supposed to be patient waiting a little under a year for the roof to be finished but yet they give me a month to make payment. Terrible company to have work done on your house.
