He said that is the cause of the snow melt getting into the basement and recommended landscaping vice foundation work. This would be a huge saving for me as the foundation work would be tens of thousands of dollars. I greatly appreciate Tony's professionalism and honesty and highly recommend him and his company T K Mason for similar stoneworks at your residence.

It was only a matter of time before it would crumble completely. Time to get it repaired. Unfortunately it was too far gone for a repair so a complete tear-down and rebuild was necessary. I received a few bids but I leaned towards Tony because of his positive reviews on several review sites. That and the fact that his bid was very competitive. Also, TK Mason did not ask for a percentage of the payment to accompany the signed contract. Some companies require a payment up front before the work begins and the remainder of the payment due at the end of the job. This was the deciding factor for me. There were a few delays, thanks to our rainy Spring weather but once a clear day was forecast, Tony's guys showed up and started work. They worked on my chimney all day, ripping out the old one and building a complete new structure. Their attention to detail was impressive and their brickwork expertise definitely showed on the finished product. They cleaned up nicely and left me with a chimney that will most likely outlast the rest of the house. I've posted a photo of the chimney taken while our roof was being replaced.

From Cameron's initial assessment through the completion of the project, the entire experience exceeded my expectations. Bob and his crew were consistently quiet, courteous, and respectful of my home and property. At the end of each day, Bob took time to explain what had been accomplished, show me around, and outline the plan for the following day. He was patient and open in answering my questions, which greatly eased my anxiety given the scope of the foundation work. While the long-term results will ultimately be confirmed over time and during future rainfall, I am very confident in the quality of the work performed. The crew's attention to detail was exceptional -- they even washed dirt from the roadway in front of my home (in February) and cleaned my floor by hand before leaving. I highly recommend The Mudjackers Basement Solutions for any foundation or mudjacking needs. They are professional, skilled, and a pleasure to work with.

One of the best was from Mudjackers but as important was the unsolicited recommendation of the engineer who inspected and wrote up the plans (and secured permits) for our house. It all couldn't have gone any better. These guys were timely, helpful, professional, knowledgeable, etc. From the actual digging and piering that was done to the follow up (the following spring) with adding top soil and grass seed. Easy to deal with, helpful at every turn, etc. If you have to spend $20K-$40K on this painful and otherwise undesired house fix, you want it to be as friendly and professionally done as these guys do their thing. I hope you don't have your foundation repaired and jacked up, but if you do -- these guys are a solid five star choice.

From start to finish, they went above and beyond every expectation. They took the time to walk me through each step of the process, making sure I understood exactly what was being done and why. Their communication and professionalism were top-tier. What truly stood out was their work ethic. Despite the cold and snow, they showed up on time, focused, and determined. Weather that would slow most people down didn't faze them at all. They completed the entire project in just three days--fast, efficient, and with excellent quality. I'm genuinely grateful for the care and dedication they put into my home. If you're looking for a team that's reliable, knowledgeable, and committed to doing things right, this crew is the one to call. Highly recommend Everdry Waterproofing!! I am filing a complaint regarding misleading warranty terms and poor customer service from Everdry…read moreWaterproofing. In 2018-2019, we chose Everdry Waterproofing for basement waterproofing services. Their quote was significantly higher than other companies--approximately $8,000-$10,000 more--but we agreed to move forward based on the strength of the warranty they promoted. The salesperson clearly stated that the warranty was a lifetime, transferable warranty, requiring only a $50 annual maintenance fee. We were also told that if we ever fell behind on these yearly payments,we could simply catch up by paying the missed years and the warranty would remain valid. Recently, we experienced an issue and contacted Everdry to bring our account current by paying the missed annual fees. However, we were informed that we are no longer allowed to catch up on past payments. The company stated that they no longer permit this because customers tend to call only when problems arise, and that reinstating coverage would cost them money to repair their failed system. This directly contradicts what was clearly explained to us at the time of purchase and was a key factor in our decision to choose their higher-priced service. We relied on these representations in good faith. I believe this constitutes misleading sales practices and failure to honor the terms as they were presented. I am requesting that Everdry honor the original agreement by allowing us to pay the outstanding maintenance fees and reinstate our warranty as promised.

Over the past few days we've had extream rainfalls, this system worked flawlessly. We lost power for about 18 hours. The battery backup was doing the job. The problem really, is that the "girl at the front desk" (which contractors REALLY need to stop using instead of just having the expert talk with the homeowner/customer, frankly...) has been told to "screen" customers. Even when you've filled out a form with everything they really do need. The questions you'll be forced to answer. Now notice: ALL of these questions can be answered with a simple site visit. This is copy/pasted from her email, with no modifications. ***Can you please verify the correct physical address at? First of all, the grammar is horrid. Second, all one has to do is paste the address into Google Maps or whatever and see what we typed is true; or just confirm it with the County's property site if you need to confirm the name or something. ***Is this also your mailing address? First of all, a mailing address is NOT required for a site visit. Second, at no point did I give permission to mail anything. ***Are you the owner of the home, and is the home for sale currently? First of all, you can confirm "For Sale" by a simple Google Search and going to Zillow. Second, even if I weren't the owner of the home, it doesn't negate you doing a site visit to understand the problem; you just need to tell the prospect that if they're not the owner, the owner's the only one who can agree to repair, and still provide a quote, because the owner needs it anyway. ***What is going on that you would like a specialist to take a look at? First of all, this is outlined in the form already. Second, there's no value in spelling what I "would like a specialist to take a look at" versus...I dunno...HAVE THE SPECIALIST COME OUT AND TAKE A LOOK AT" stuff. ***Is your basement finished? First of all, it was clarified in the message that the reason for contacting is to FINISH the flooring...which implies the BASEMENT IS NOT CURRENTLY FINISHED. Second, even if it were finished, a customer might want a different service from you - for example, sump pump repair, which has very little to do with whether it's in a finished basement. ***What type of foundation do you have, such as block or poured concrete? First of all, in a request to redo flooring, it doesn't matter what the material was, because epoxy works on all of it. Even if you couldn't do epoxy for whatever reason, concrete would work. So regardless, you should send a person out, they do an assessment, and RECOMMEND a course of action. ***What color is the exterior of the home, and the nearest intersection? First of all, Google Maps is a thing. If you're having a hard time finding houses, that's a personnel problem that needs to be addressed, STAT. Second, it has nothing to do with the work being requested.

Mid last year, purchased a house where the prior homeowner (who wasn't living in it at the time)…read morewas required to get the foundation fixed and remediation for moisture. Accurate Basement Repair is who they chose - lower five figures cost (it was in fairly bad shape before the work, it's obvious). Can't say it was the prior homeowner, because technically I paid it (since I bought the house and they billed it through closing). I wasn't there either before or during the repair; everything had already been done by the time of closing. That's fine - I understood. Nothing was a red flag in inspection. But here's what I observed, having done nothing but take possession of the home. - The drain tiles seem to be fine. They (ABR) didn't do anything cosmetic to make it look presentable afterwards; just concrete (which is porous). - As another reviewer mentioned, they left the old nonfunctional sump pump laying right next to the new one. Like they just didn't bother to clean up despite charging so much money. - They cheaped out on the sump pump controller; didn't bother to give them the battery backup-equipped unit (yes, we know..."we offered, customer said no to the extra charge, doot doot doot!"...again, for so much money, throw it in. You're talking a few hundred bucks at best). The power tends to go out frequently here, so this was a huge issue when the rains hit. - Sump outlet used to go to the back yard, they redirected it to the front and just laid it out on the front grass. Now it's noisy thoughout the house as well as curb-unappealing. - Part of basement repair should also be sealing. They concrete sealed most of the well opening tops but blatantly missed two of them - when I say "blatant", I'm talking, you can literally put your hand out from the basement to the outside. Which meant that humidity was out of control. Which led to... - An excessive number of dead bugs found, which was odd given there was recent basement repair; since sealing should be part of it. Turns out they were attracted by the excessive moisture from... - The dehumidifier, when we did the initial walkthrough before agreement, was an older unit that was running nonstop. Thought it odd but figured it was related to the recent work. During the final walkthrough, the older dehumidifier had been replaced with a slightly newer - but same model - unit. It wasn't running. Turns out the tank was full; and who knows how long it was sitting there full. After closing, I noticed that tank would just keep filling because the humidity was out of control. Replaced it with a Govee and tapped out a hose to the drain (not sure why ABR couldn't/wouldn't do that); that mitigated it, but it still ran nonstop. That's when I discovered the two openings they clearly missed; after adding some insulation, problem was much more under control. Still gets a bit moist but nowhere near what it was doing (over 80 RH which can lead to mold and wood damage). So what was done well? The steel I-beams bracing the cracked wall seem to be doing their job.

Said my outside drain line could be broken but also said this would be rare. Then said it was my waterjet backup pump after conferring with his boss Zach. I turned it off and the issue did not resolve itself. Then decided it was a broken drain pipe but also admitted the pipe could be frozen causing the issue. He said he would recommend replacing the pipe and would send me an estimate. I asked for a camera to be put down the pipe to verify and Jimmy said he would set it up. Then it was crickets from them. I called their answering service and still nothing. This company clearly has no idea how to fix basement issues and wants you to throw money away and what "might" be the issue without first verifying. I do not trust them.
