My family LOVES Zamani! We've been to a LOT of Middle Eastern restaurants around Houston and this is by far our favorite. It doesn't look like much from the outside, tucked away in a little shopping strip off the beaten path, but the food is phenomenal and the service is always friendly. I always get the lamb kofta kabob because it is perfectly delectable, tender, and juicy. The shawarma is delicious as well. All of the sides we've tried have been great, but my favorites are the rice, hummus, and the delightfully bright tabbouleh. We enjoy the variety of international foods offered in the attached market, too! Highly recommend!

One stop shop a Mediterranean market and a restaurant very convenient for us . Well marinated Kabab very generous portions .

First and foremost Adam is an absolute professional! One of the best client service experiences I have had in a very long time and this is coming from someone go goes to a lot of restaurants! I was very impressed with Adam and his abilities. Good: the chicken kabob plate is absolutely amazing and for the price it's the best deal in the NW side of Houston. You get two freshly grilled chicken skewers that taste amazing. Seasoned to perfection. Every bite is great. So much protein and so good. You get two sides as well. My go have been hummus and the rice. Which are exceptional as well! Full of flavor and amazing. Comes with pita bread and veggies as well. The garlic sauce and hot sauce are amazing. I am telling you right now the food is great. So fresh and so amazing. If you have not tried this restaurant I suggest you give them a try asap. You will really enjoyed the food here. Keep up the great work and I'll be back soon.

When we entered the vibe was relatable to the name of the restaurant but after a few minutes we heard Bollywood songs and I love Bollywood songs but I feel like the vibe of the restaurant should relate to the cuisine and ambiance. It automatically gives an impression that the restaurant isn't Greek or Lebanese for example. Anyway, we had ordered kibeh and lentil soup for appetizers. The lentil soup was the worst lentil soup I've ever had it was frozen we asked them to heat it but it still tasted disgusting. I couldn't eat it. The kibeh was alright the dip with the kibeh was good. For entrees, we ordered the chicken shawarma plate and combo kebabs. The plates came with a salad the dressing was interesting but I'm not a fan of feta cheese so I didn't have the salad. The shrimps and chicken kebab of the combo kebabs were not bad I really liked the shrimps. The hummus was okay and the rice was very bland. The service was quick I believe because everything felt like it was pre-cooked except for the kebabs but the beef kebab wasn't cooked entirely one of the pieces it was raw. The shawarma was not good at all! Very disappointing Our bill was $60 and we were charged a 2.5% fees for credit card!

When we arrived on a Tuesday evening, it was empty other than maybe one other family. When we entered we were told to pick a seat and then given the menus. The second I saw the menu it seemed a bit expensive- I was looking at the vegetarian plate where you can pick 5 which was for $25 I think- I got falafels, tazeki, hummus, another spread, pickled turnips. They didn't have many other options that were appetizing- I'm not into the eggplant or okra. While waiting for the food the waitresses were sitting on their phones chatting laughing, I thought it was unprofessional, that's not what you want to see when you go to a nice place. We were given salad- the salad already had dressing on it which was spicy! Me and my friend could not figure out what it is - it was tangy spicy I think from garlic more chemically tasting rather than Cheyenne spicy. A bit too spicy for both of us. I would have wished they put the dressing on the side so we can add on our own. The food arrived and was given pita bread as well which was nice. The food was not flavorful, the hummus tasted Bland, falafels were actually pretty good but only were given . The pita bread I was hoping was gonna be fluffy but this was so thin and chewy didnt like it. Everything wasn't to my liking or lacking something except the falafels which I only had two of. I think the falafel wrap might have been a better option but due to the price I won't be back.

We started with a sampler platter of appetizers, and let me tell you: you could tell the dolmas ("grape leaves" on the menu) were made fresh that morning, the hummus was delicious, the salad was refreshing, and the kibbeh and falafel were tasty too. The lamb sandwich was so good; I don't usually like pickles, but I did in that sandwich! We went for a late lunch/early dinner (3pm ish) and it was very quiet inside. Our server was conversational and fun! Highly recommend: go here if you want to support an under-appreciated Mediterranean restaurant in the area.

I was eager to give it a try, so tonight my family chose our dishes for a takeout order and looked forward to something great for dinner. Based on reviews I ordered falafel, kibbe, and chicken shawarma. My husband had a gyro and my daughter ordered the feta dip (which turned out to be cubes of feta and nothing for dipping. Unfortunately, we all agreed it was very okay. Everything was palatable, but it lacked the sparkle of meals we've eaten at other local eateries and at our Greek friend's house. My husband and I had the great good fortune to be able to travel in Istanbul and Greece over the summer, and the food was...better. I understand that region matters; perhaps I am not as enthusiastic about this version of food from that part of the world. One woman's opinion shouldn't spoil other peoples bliss, but I'm looking forward to my next visit to Wael's. I'll appreciate the delicious kibbe better than before.

I've only ordered the Chicken Shawarma here in Katy but it's so good it's hard trying anything else haha! It's juicy, charred, tender and packed with such great mediterranean flavor with slight lemon. My only complaint is that the rice here seems to be overcooked. I had this same issue at the Atascocita location so it may just be the way they cook it. Other than that, they have a variety of menu items that I plan to go down the list and try!

Two workers were there, but unfortunately they said "the cooks aren't at work yet". They showed up about 5 minutes later as I was standing in the parking lot outside the door & they said to give them 10 minutes. I decided to run an errand & came back 30 minutes later. My order was a to-go. Upon my return, it took about 15 minutes for the food to be ready. I ordered the chicken curry lunch platter which comes with salad, rice & hummus. - Chicken curry (4/5)- quite unique curry sauce (kinda thick, can't place the spices) with tender chunks of chicken. - Salad (4.5/5) - Salad had a garlic dressing/sauce which elevated the basic lettuce salad & made it quite flavorful. - Hummus (3/5) - it was just ok for me. I've had some hummus at other Mediterranean places lately that are really fantastic so those have become my baseline. They have a garlic dip which I ordered as a side item, it's the most unique dip. It's whipped to a mashed potato consistency. It's good, different. When you mix the garlic dip into the hummus it upgrades the hummus flavor. - Lentil soup (3.5/5) I was expecting to have spoonfuls of actual whole lentils but this soup has the lentils puréed so it's just a little thicker than a broth soup with no visible lentils. The flavor is good, I can taste the black pepper (but it's not hot). I just prefer less of a puréed soup. Lots of pita bread was provided. The worker taking my order thanked me for coming back. Hopefully it's not a pattern for them not to be ready when the doors open.

We have our go to order: hot green tea with honey. Idk why I love it so much but I swear it just hits different here. Maybe it's the cute little pot they serve it in. For food, we usually start with an appetizer and split the mixed shawarma plate. This last time we shared a Greek salad as an appetizer. Fresh and delicious as always. One of our sides was the baba ghanoush, which was incredible. Dont get me started on the pita it comes with....Warm, soft, and fresh. It takes everything in me not to demolish the whole basket. For our other side, we always get the potatoes. They're perfectly seasoned with a slight sweetness and a little kick. Hands down my favorite side dish here! The portions are generous too. For me and my boyfriend (who can definitely eat), splitting this is always enough to fill us up. I also have to shout out the service because it's consistently great. Even when it's packed and there's just one waiter, everything flows smoothly. Safe to say we'll keep coming back!
