This trip, I was looking for a few new pieces to refresh my home after removing my Christmas decoration and taking back to storage. My home always feels bare and not as cozy after removing the Christmas decor. My main reason for running around in this bitter cold is to add more greenery, maybe some new artwork (looking for botanicals), and maybe some new throw pillows for additional accent colors. The prices are reasonable, so I can afford to replace smaller accent items when I tire of them. I only picked up two new candles and 3 packages of candle melts today, but I took pictures of several items I could use. The items change often, so I need to pop back in soon after they restock with new items. Only after the pandemic lockdown have I found that their inventory has changed somewhat regarding shirts. I did manage to find two shirts I like last month which were the Apt. 9 brand, one of the same brands I used to buy all the time. They have also added a new brand of jeans called Buffalo. I bought two pair of Buffalo, Slim, Ash, black jeans with the stretch waist band last month. I liked them so well I returned this week and picked up another pair of regular looking blue jeans in the same Buffalo, Slim, Ash, Stretch style. I perused the shirts once again but was unable to find anything I like. Either everything is flannel or too heavy of material or the shirts have a buttoned down collar. I don't know why sport shirts have a buttoned down collar. I'm not wearing a tie with them. I do buy some jewelry at Kohl's when I shop for birthday or Christmas presents. I have seven granddaughters and I'm always looking for deals. I have found a few deals from Kohl's in the past so I keep an eye out.

I was lured by both time, and shelves full of bling. The truth is, the last thing I need is more jewelry. The sales clerk was engaging and high energy, and asked where I was from. When I told her, she quickly informed me that Artizan is a Canadian company, with a location at the Calgary airport. She gave me a brouchure, and dangerously, was telling me that some of the items I was picking up were 50% the already reasonable price. Artizan is full of unique, fashionable ladies accessories. Its like the buyer for this company hand-picked the accessories for me. Almost everything was bang on with my taste. I browsed jewelry, scarves, shoes, headbands, sweaters, cardigans and a unique set of multifunctional wraps, that can be used as ponchos, scarves, cardigans ad shawls.
