My main reason for running around in this bitter cold is to add more greenery, maybe some new artwork (looking for botanicals), and maybe some new throw pillows for additional accent colors. I only picked up two new candles and 3 packages of candle melts today, but I took pictures of several items I could use. I am in the Indianapolis airport on a layover on my way to Newark, then over the pond to Belfast, and I have a good 90 minutes to kill. I walked into Artizan, a ladies accessories shop. I was lured by both time, and shelves full of bling. The truth is, the last thing I need is more jewelry. The sales clerk was engaging and high energy, and asked where I was from. When I told her, she quickly informed me that Artizan is a Canadian company, with a location at the Calgary airport. She gave me a brouchure, and dangerously, was telling me that some of the items I was picking up were 50% the already reasonable price. Artizan is full of unique, fashionable ladies accessories. Its like the buyer for this company hand-picked the accessories for me. Almost everything was bang on with my taste. I browsed jewelry, scarves, shoes, headbands, sweaters, cardigans and a unique set of multifunctional wraps, that can be used as ponchos, scarves, cardigans ad shawls. Spencer's is always a fun and affordable store to browse with a fun selection of t-shirts, jewelry, games, lava lamps, fun room decor, accessories, lingerie, adult novelties and sex and wellness items. There are tons of things to browse and see so you can easily lose track of time. The staff was young but then I am old. The staff was helpful and friendly, plus they appeared to enjoy their job. Street parking is available, plus the closest mall parking lot is directly behind Theo's Italian Restaurant. Being an outdoor mall, there are parking lots everywhere.

It's unsettling to be stared at the whole time you're there. I like to look around places to see what new things they have and potentially buy something but the big boned women in place act like you're a thief the moment you walk in. I brought my friends once to look around with me and they brought us all to the front and had security pat us down. Needless to say we didn't have anything. Im done going here until they get new employees or teach these ladies not everyone is a thief. Their items are way over priced anyhow.
