The other shop gave me weird vibes, so I decided to give Elson's a try since everyone in the reviews had nothing but positive things to say. I emailed them in the morning and decided to call as well to check if they take walk-in repairs. The person I spoke with happened to be the owner's brother and they said yes, just come on down--so I did just that! I was welcomed in by Elson Jr., the owner's brother and person I spoke with on the phone, and he told me they could repair the chain for $50 and get it done in about 30 minutes. Good deal in my opinion! So I waited in the store and not even 15 minutes later, the chain was repaired *AND* Elson said they cleaned it! Highly, highly recommend these guys for jewelry repairs if you live near ʻAiea or even if you can drive in from elsewhere on Oʻahu. Mahalo again to Elson and Calin, both of whom provided excellent customer service and attention to my request!

They had a 20% off of every jewelry piece you pick to set the pearls in. On my first try, I picked two iridescent pink pearls from one oyster. I chose to have them both set in a ring. My boyfriend then chose another oyster which concealed a pink pearl. We chose to have that one set in a pendant. He gifted me these two items for our anniversary and applied for a credit card with Maui Divers. Vanessa was very attentive and enthusiastic. She really made the whole experience special and unique.
