We called continuously every couple weeks for updates only for Raul to keep saying "call me back next week" or "I'm still figuring it out". The man certainly takes on more than he can bear. We finally had enough and went today to pick it up. Raul didn't even give as much as a simple apology when we came by to grab it, he had no empathy at all. Will be taking our turntable to a place in Escondido that is certain they can resolve our issue.

He was patient, a good listener and quite knowledgeable in terms of what I was looking for. He showed me exactly where to look and answered my many questions. In fact, although the store did not have in stock what I had come in for, Joseph was quick to help me find an even better product at a lesser price. And it wasn't just Joseph who provided excellent customer care. There were also other employees whom I was asked questions of that made me question why the Yelp Review star ratings were so poor. Last week they made a story of product that is coming to stores. So I went in and asked availability. They said they didn't have any but informed me to return Tuesday. I waited until Monday when I went in again. They said they had no clue why the other member told me that because it is false. Was told they didn't have anything. Then later before I left I spoke with a manager that told me they had them but were not going to be putting them out yet due to upper management being off. The next day (Tuesday when they were supposed to be put out, they were not and were told again by a different employee they didn't have any and they didn't think any were coming into the store. I called in the afternoon to check availability, and was told they will be putting them out this Friday. I returned that Tuesday night before closing and asked again, I was told that they are not going to be here till next week. Today (Wednesday)I call again and sure enough they put them out today and they sold out. WHAT A JOKE. Why be told so many stories, and misinformation by multiple employees and managers just to do something completely different. Lost my business.

I was at the Home Depot on Madison in Murrieta when I called batteries plus. The voice message…read morestated if I wanted to speak to a salesman to press one and I did so. This message repeated three more times with me pressing one each time in the hope they would finally answer. No sales person answered so I hung up. I waited a few minutes and called again getting the same message after pressing one three more times I began driving to the store. As I entered the 15 freeway I pressed number one for approximately the 10th time, after about 30 seconds, the call was disconnected by the recording. By the way, when I first called, the recording, stated what the business hours were for the day. I discovered once I reached the store location why no sales person ever answered the phone. There were no sales people at the location because the store was closed and empty of all product. There were signs on the door stating the business would be closing at the end of their lease, which was on June 30. I was there on July 1. Another sign on the door stated I could go to their Palm Desert store and it provided the address and phone number for that location. I try to support the mom and pop and small chain stores shopping there rather than the big box or on the internet. My battery need on this occasion was for a specialty battery I was certain Batteries + would sell. I had no intention of driving down to the Palm Desert store or even the Vista store because I would spend more money on gas than I if I bought it online. I did speak with an employee at the Palm Desert location voicing my about the voice message system that was still in play at the former Temecula store. I told him in my opinion the message should've been changed on the closing of the store advising that the location was permanently closed. This would save people from making more than the one call or driving to the location. The employee told me he would advise the owner. I called the Temecula store a few minutes ago (7-3-25) and found it was still a working number. I also discovered the recording had not been changed as it repeated the exact same verbiage that it had on the 30th when I called. I don't know if the employee I spoke to advised the owner of my call to change the recording or if he did whether the owner decided not to change it. In either case, one of the two dropped the ball.
