His prices are extremely fair and competitive. He stays on budget and on time. He completely replaced our flooring and poured beautiful new concrete. Redid all of our electrical and added recessed lights. Cut in a new window. Reinforced the entire structure, added insulation, drywall and painted. They did beautiful framework. They added a backdoor and turned our 2 single door garage into 1 big garage door. Patched and painted. They did it all. The entire process from our first meeting to finishing the job was awesome and just a joy. Luis always made us feel comfortable and communicated with us every step of the way. Any question we had, he answered. Very easy to talk to. He follows codes and permitting. His team works hard and tirelessly. I don't know where they get the energy from. The whole team is super professional. Showed up every day on time like clockwork. This team is very dependable. They deliver high quality work and always with a smile. After Luis finished our garage, we didn't want to stop there or lose him to someone else hiring him, so we hired him to remodel the walls in our front yard, build 2 custom redwood gates and paint the whole house. Luis' team does amazing masonry work. We are so happy and blessed to have found Luis. Our home looks beautiful and feels so refreshed and happy. Me and my wife loved seeing Luis and his team at the end of the day cleaning up and laughing together having a good time. You can tell this team is a family and that they love and are proud of what they do. This is a contractor that you will truly want to work with, and as soon as you finish one project you will have him giving you a quote for another. Don't hesitate and call him today. Thank you Luis!

How can you love a contractor? Well, we did! And we love you guys--Tom, Adam, and the whole team at…read moreShenon Construction! Let us explain why. Tom is the owner of Shenon Construction, and as first time homeowners with a master bedroom addition being our first construction project, we approached Tom both cautiously and slowly. We first talked 8 years ago and Tom was so incredibly patient, answering all our questions and going round after round with meetings. He led us through HVAC and window considerations before we even committed to the project. He subsequently drafted a thoughtful and detailed plan, connecting us with his designer to get things started. Enter COVID and our infamously slow city planning department. It took almost five years just to get our permit approval. Tom kept advising us throughout and his recommended designer diligently re-submitted plan after plan. Tom never showed an ounce of impatience and after five years, a project needs to be re-bid. Impressively, Tom encouraged us to price compare contractors once again. We knew Tom so well at this point and he still carefully re-walked us through every step of the process and cost. Once again, no one came close to Tom and Shenon in their ability to earn our trust. When we finally kicked things off at the end of July, we were introduced to our project manager, Adam. Hands down the most detail-oriented, organized, and responsible person we've ever met, Adam was at our house almost every day. Memorably, he echoed Tom in saying every tiny detail or concern goes through them. From then on, we saw every worker arrive on time doing incredible work. We discussed endlessly the closet sizes, number of light fixtures, which windows pass code, who does lead remediation, replacing the basement access, where to fit a sun tunnel, what height to make our deck, yes or no to gutters, color choice after color choice, and on and on. Adam smiled throughout, had answers to every question, and always replied with a 'just let me know'! Everything was built to meet Tom and Adam's high standards. We received to-do lists weekly, a spread out payment schedule, and met with scores of expert sub-contractors. Tom and Adam did all this while juggling around our living in the home, limiting dust and noise, and being ever mindful of our cat. Adam went above-and-beyond here, as well, responding to our group text chats anytime day or night and was excellent handling our day-to-day needs while sending the big project questions to Tom. We ultimately became friendly with these guys and can't imagine any homeowner not feeling the same. It was amazing to see our room go from foundation to framing to finishing--everything happened so quickly! In fact, the whole project took about five months, wrapping up with the final inspection an entire month ahead of schedule. We now have a wood-floor master bedroom with a large picture window, an subway-tiled master bathroom with wet room shower/bath combo, a much needed walk-in-closet, and a lovely wood deck patio with a pergola. We absolutely love our new space, and we couldn't be more thankful to Shenon. We've heard from friends and neighbors about construction nightmares, littered with no shows, hard to reach GCs, shoddy workmanship, and unfulfilled follow-ups. Shenon construction is the complete opposite. Tom keeps every promise and provides options for aesthetics and saving money, but never compromises on quality. Adam's care and hard work makes the project smooth and keeps the excitement of building fun and alive. They're just awesome, and we can't recommend them enough. Shenon Construction earns all of their positive reviews and we're so happy we chose them. We only hope we can work with them again!

From start to finish, Chris and his team delivered exceptional quality work with a level of professionalism that is increasingly rare. Chris was incredibly fair and transparent with pricing--no surprises, no games--just honest, straightforward communication. Throughout the project, he was patient and took the time to walk us through decisions, offering thoughtful suggestions that ultimately improved the final result beyond what we had originally envisioned. What truly set him apart was his reliability. He showed up on time, stayed on schedule, and consistently did exactly what he said he would do. He was also extremely respectful of our time and space, which made the entire process smooth and far less stressful than we expected. Equally impressive were the subcontractors Chris works with--they clearly reflect his standards. Every crew was professional, punctual, and delivered high-quality workmanship. It's rare to see that level of consistency across an entire team. After a very difficult experience with a previous contractor we had to let go, finding Chris and Finchum Construction was exactly what we needed. He restored our confidence and delivered a finished product we are genuinely proud of. Everyone who has seen our home has been incredibly impressed with the quality of the work, and we've had multiple people ask for Chris's contact information--which says a lot. PROJECT 3: "Epoxy Garage Floor Construction Coatings"…read more Our garage floor cement was out of control with all the dirt and dust brought in by our two vehicles. It was burdensome to clean the cement floor and was becoming unmanageable. My wife and I asked Marco, owner of Solidfirm Inc. to give us an estimate. He was professional in telling us exactly what he will do and how long it will take, so there was no surprise during the epoxy flooring process. We followed Marco's recommendation on material using premium RUST-OLEUM high-performance coatings, prep, prime & seal, and selection of flakes for the floor. Solidfirm's rate and schedule was within our budget. As a result, we got what we paid for and suffice to say, his fee was affordable and fair without us having to break our bank. The flakes turned out beautiful, our family and guests were all impressed, even the maintenance supervisor of Brookfield Residential Home Builders was impressed. I recommend all budget conscious homeowners to give Marco a call to do your epoxy garage floor, you will be very happy you did.
