Always great pizza & service! If you want a place that treats you like family try zacks !

We've had the pizza and bbq and both were delicious! Super friendly owner and staff! Will be going back! !

Food, particularly the wings were the best I've had in a long time, pulled pork and Mac and cheese were pretty good, I would order it again. Cole slaw was ok, admittedly I'm not the biggest fan of slaw but I ordered it anyway. Still not bad. Service was great, you order at the counter but everyone was very friendly. The place is cute, small and clean. No complaints. I'd definitely recommend and also come back. I wish I had tried the pizza, it smells amazing. read more

Zack's Pizza Sebring - Barbeque Near Me - Sebring, Florida

New Sebring stopped by to get a couple of pizzas. Didn't really think about what they cost. However, today we called in for 212 inch pizzas with three toppings and the total bill was almost 50 bucks. I have a friend who owns a pizza store cost from 3 to 5 dollars to make that pizza. I guess profit can become a dirty word. The pizzas we did have from them. We asked to be crispy and they weren't. Guess we're gonna find a new pizza place. read more

Food, service and staff are all worth the trip to Sebring Florida to eat at Zack's. We try to go every month. Truly best pizza I've had. Bar b que is amazing. At first I thought bar b q and pizza was a strange combination. But, we tried both and were so glad we did. I highly recommend eating at Zack's read more

We stopped once (so far) for pizza. Great product and service. They do deliver although we have not used that yet. Convenient location. Friendly staff. read more

I'm a barbeque aficionado and you can't throw a stick in FL without hitting a Q joint and that's just fine with me. This location has been around about a year so off I went. This place has multiple personalities as it is both a pizza and a Q joint. Literally, one side of the menu is pizza and associated stuff and the other side is Q. I was there for bbq so that's what I perused. Atmosphere- It was previously a pizza joint and it shows. Red & white checked tablecloths and FL kitsch on the walls equals nothing special. It's a tiny place with seven tables sitting about 26 folks. Service- Everything was handled by one server with a big bright smile and welcome. She was genuine, competent, and cute so what's not to love! Drinks- This place is dry and serves Coke products. I had unsweetened tea which was just fine. I was quite surprised there was no beer. Bbq & Pizza scream for beer and beer licenses in this part of FL are a dime a dozen. This earns them one penalty point. BBQ- Somewhat standard brisket, pork, and chicken but no sausage. I was there for lunch, so I ordered the Brisket Sandwich for about $10. I was shocked that a side did not come with the sandwich without paying extra! This earned them another penalty point and needs to be fixed. The list of sides is fairly standard except there is no Coleslaw which is unusual in a bbq joint. There is a Roasted Corn Salad which intrigues me so I'll try that the next time I visit. I ordered the fresh-cut fries. OMG the Fries! - The same cut as Micky Ds but taste-wise a different world! They were completely addicting, and I moaned with every bite! The Sandwich- Not quite what I expected but very tasty and filling. Lots of tender meat and good flavor. I liked the sauce, but they earned another penalty point by not letting me pick my own sauce. Now I know why I didn't see an assortment of bottles on every table! Despite my penalty points I enjoyed my lunch and it cost me about $16. They get four stars and in order to get five from me they need to do three things. One, beer. Two, one side needs to be included with the sandwiches. Three, and most important, I need to be able to sauce my own Q! read more

The pizza and wings were cold! When I get an Alfredo pizza I expect it to be creamy and taste the sauce.I didn't and the chicken tasted dry and old and unseasoned, everything was unseasoned. The wings were soggy and some were red in the inside!! It wasn't good. I mean dominos and hungry Howies is better than this if I'm being honest. To my fellow brothers and sisters IT AINT WORTH THE MONEY (respectfully) read more

We picked up pizza and bbq took it home and most was leftover. Know one liked it. Won't be back. We now make our own bbq since we bought a smoker and pizza oven. Tied of eating out and food barely good enough to eat read more

Zack's Pizza & BBQ: The Burnt-Out Nightmare When you hear "Zack's Pizza & BBQ," you'd think of cheesy slices, smoky ribs, and hearty comfort food, right? Well, let me set the record straight. Zack's isn't the paradise it claims to be--it's more like a culinary purgatory. Let's start with the ambiance, or lack thereof. Walking in, I was greeted by a faint smell of burnt oil and a vibe that screamed, "We gave up trying." The decor? A mismatched hodgepodge of neon beer signs and faded photos of meals they clearly don't serve anymore. It felt less like a restaurant and more like a place where dreams go to die. Now, the menu. It looked promising--wood-fired pizza, slow-cooked BBQ, and sides that should make your taste buds sing. But the reality? A cacophony of disappointment. I ordered the "Meat Lover's Dream" pizza and a half-rack of ribs. How could you mess up the basics? Zack's found a way. The pizza arrived looking like it had been aggressively introduced to a blowtorch. The crust was a burnt black ring of despair, the cheese was more rubbery than melty, and the toppings were sparse. A "meat lover's dream"? More like a meatless nightmare. The ribs weren't any better. They were tough, dry, and suspiciously flavorless, as if someone forgot to season them before throwing them into what I can only assume was an incinerator. The BBQ sauce--a gloopy, cloyingly sweet concoction--was slathered on with the subtlety of a five-year-old using glue. Even the sides were tragic. The coleslaw was drowned in mayo, making it more soup than salad. The fries? Limp, cold, and depressingly soggy. Let's not forget the service. My server, while polite, seemed utterly defeated. They brought the wrong order to my table twice and looked like they wanted to apologize for more than just the mix-up--probably the food itself. To top it all off, the price was absurd for what I got. I left Zack's feeling like I had paid premium rates for a fast-pass ticket to indigestion. Zack's Pizza & BBQ might be a good idea on paper, but in practice, it's an overcooked mess. Save your appetite and your money--there are better places out there that won't leave you questioning your life choices. *1/5* stars. read more

The service was warm and inviting- which makes the food taste even better! I saw them pulling out huge 24" pizzas from the oven and will try one of those next time. The chef brought out a Little of his famous beef brisket! And I can't speak enough of his garlic knots- they were amazing. I think this guy might ooze olive oil! read more

Zack's Pizza Sebring - Mouth watering delicacies abound! I had the chicken Cesar salad - Barbeque Near Me - Sebring, Florida

Can't really get enough of Zack's Calzones! Full of fresh veggies, real ricotta & mozzarella, and baked to perfection in a truly delectable crust, I can't imagine a better meal. They have other stuff, but I don't think I'll ever try it. I don't think I can live without my calzone. They do DoorDash and have a small, but fairly uncomfortable dining area. I would stand outside in the rain to eat this calzone, so that does not deter me! Takeout & DoorDash work just fine! read more

Had lunch there last Saturday, it was good pizza and friendly service. recommend. The owner was there and chatted with us. He allows you to create your own pizza. read more

How this place doesn't have 5 stars from everyone is just not understandable to me. The pizza crust and how they cook it is for sure in the top 5 pizzas I've had in my life beating out Chicago, San Francisco, and Mew York. It was just a delicious pizza. We also ordered the wings - likewise amazing. This place is highly recommend by us!!!! read more

Pizza was so thin and not cooked in the middle. Minimal toppings. You were lucky to get a piece of ham on a slice. Not what was expected as we have had excellent pizza in the past . Not a good start for 2024. We won't be back. Hawaiian was $22. read more

Dave Portnoy, you need to come try this. Went in for the first time today, and the employees were very nice and accommodating. I ordered a couple of slices of pepperoni and a Philly cheesesteak sandwich as I'm always looking for a good philly. I have to say neither the pizza slice nor the philly disappointed. The pizza had a little bit of a flop to it but once you bite into and hear that crunch on top of the flavor it had and it is hands down best in Highlands County. The Philly, while not the best I have ever had, is also easily the second best and best in Florida I have had so far. Will be recommending this place to anyone looking for a good spot. The prices for quality ratio was also very good in my opinion. read more

Pizza was very good, nice New York style that was complimented very well with their fall off the bone ribs. Not the overcooked fall off the bone but the nice tender and juicy fall off the bone that you'd find at a top tier bbq joint. I did not personally have the brisket but the people I were with said it was delicious. My group also ordered a to go order the next night for 24 people, and we got it all, pizza, wings, bbq, sides, and condiments. We were told it would be 30 minutes. We showed up roughly 15 minutes early and they were just finishing it up. Service was absolutely phenomenal exactly what you'd expect from a mom and pop shop. Definitely recommend for anyone visiting or local to Sebring, 5/5, 10/10, it was excellent. read more

The food is amazing and fantastic service. My 7 yr old granddaughter loves making her own pizza!

Their pizza tastes amazing! They have curb side pick up so that makes it really easy!! The service was quick, efficient, and the staff was so friendly and kind! Menu prices were very fair, and they have a ton of menu items to choose from! Can't wait to go back! read more

The Italian food was really good. The BBQ not as much. The service was friendly and attentive.

Highly recommend! The Chicago Thin & Crispy crust pizza is by far the best pizza in Sebring area. We are originally from Chicago and Illinois where we grew up with great thin crust pizza and this is the real deal. And they know how to square cut in reasonably sized pieces that are much easier to eat than the limp wedges that every other pizza place cuts. This is now our pizza place. Thank you read more

I don't understand the rating. We ordered pizza, the edge crust was 3/4" thick and tasteless. The basic crust was 1/8" thick at best and it was raw. Sauce was fine but I don't need all my fingers to count the pepperoni slices. Sausage and peppers absolute minimum. 1 at best. Will not be back. read more

Ordered 20 pizzas an Garlic Knots for my Team. The service was incredible. We had 5 employees bringing pizzas out to our car the minute we walked in. Tried it again, just in case I was having a bad day, back then. NOPE, the pizza still sucks, and it's way overpriced. The pizza sauce has no flavor, AT ALL, it's just red thick water. Even the cheap jars of pizza sauce that you buy at a grocery store, has more flavor. Unless something changes, we won't be back. read more

Got a pizza for the first time from Zacks. The pizza is ordinary, not real good, it was OK, at best. WAY OVERPRICED. The simple large with 3 toppings cost was over $26, You can get better pizzas at Little Caesars, Domino's, or Marcos, for under 1/2 the price. The sauce tastes like the canned sauce, that you can buy @ Gordon's with just some added spice. read more

Their reviews on Google were misleading - this place is under new ownership and it is - no exaggeration - THE WORST pizza me, my wife and her family had ever paid for. If we used Monopoly money I would be less upset. This place has got to get it together. read more

Food was okay and yes it was very expensive. And they charged a 22$ handling fee but no delivery. Like if we are dumb. It was obvious that they are taking Advantage of the highland population. I rather go to Demetris pizza not sure it I spelled it correctly but it's worth the drive. read more

The place would fool you! Walked in last minute and was greeted by Zack the owner himself. The service was wonderful, everyone was nice and was a friendly environment and the food was beyond incredible. The BBQ fries were so good. The garlic knots were to die for. Soft, garlicky, and warm. The brisket is so good, tender, juicy, and flavorful. Will come back again very soon! read more

Been 3 times. The cheese pizza is just like I remember from home. Brought my wife back for the veggie pizza and supreme. Quality ingredients and consistent! The more ingredients the soggier the crust, however try to eat there before you take some home for the freshest enjoyment! Don't forget the Italian doughnuts! read more

Look for the second red building as you travel south on 27 in Sebring. Zack and family have a good thing going: cozy little dining area, generous pizza toppings. The barbecue chicken topping is heaven sent! The pizza crust was on the tough side and the top of the crust was soggy from too much moisture in the toppings. These are suggestions for improving flavor. Pizza is ready for takeout when they say it will be. Give this very family-owned local place a chance to succeed! read more
