Friend's entire wedding party went here to get tuxes and have dresses tailored. This was perhaps the worst experience we've ever had. Groomsmen: the groom purchased all the shirts but also charged all the men a rental fee for the shirts so they double dipped; they didn't order the right size shirt for one man but told him they would give him suspenders because he could barely tuck the shirt in; during one of the fittings, the tailor pulled the pants up very high and when he said they weren't comfortable, the tailor said they were fine and wouldn't fix them - he ended up having to wear his own pants in the wedding; another groomsmen pants completely ripped while putting them on so he also had to wear his own pants in the wedding; another groomsman had the wrong size shirt ordered so the buttons were coming apart all day/night Bridesmaids: Body shamed one bridesmaid to the point of tears and when she picked up the dress they had made the top so big that her breasts were falling out all night; one dress was missing a hook; tailors were very rude to other bridesmaids about dress saying it was a difficult dress to work with When groomsmen returned the tuxes and explained the issues they didn't receive any compensation or apologies - the place just blamed the rental company...? As for the bridesmaids, you can't undo body shaming damage or stress of having to deal with the rude customer service we dealt with. Would NEVER recommend. read more

So, I had to rent a suit for a job interview. Went in a about a week ahead and ordered accordingly ( they only keep tuxedos on hand ). I went in two days later for the final fitting and sleeves of jacket needed to be adjusted. no problems . The next day, we are now talking about 24 hours before my interview, the seamstress/owner notices a scar in the fabric and doesn't want me to wear the coat. She arranges with her distributor to have another jacket (sized correctly) overnight-ed for early AM delivery directly to my home. She called me and explained what was happening and gave me her cell # in case any last minute adjustments were necessary. The jacket was at my home at 8:15 on the morning of my appointment and all went well. I have never experienced this level of customer service. It was a pleasure to do business with a responsible and pro-active merchant. I highly recommend this shop. The entire "shop small" mentality has real value. read more

My fiance and I came here to rent tuxes for our wedding. The woman who took care of us was very rude to me. After I described what the bridesmaids were wearing, she gave my fiance choices for tuxes. When I interjected that the tuxes she described wouldnt quite go with the bridesmaid dresses, she cut me off and said "This isn't about YOU, this is about the groomsmen." This was shortly after we had walked in the door, I had barely said anything at this point, let alone anything that would merit being spoke to like that. Each tuxedo description that my fiance said he was interested in was shot down by this woman, telling him that its not the popular style anymore and showing him what he should wear, or telling him that no one wears that type of tux jacket anymore, etc. We werent very concerned with what is "popular," my fiance just wanted a certain type of tux jacket. The woman then had my fiance try on a "popular" style of tux, while she proceeded to insist to me what my bridesmaids dresses look like and what color they were. I insisted that they were darker than she was describing, but she was adamant that I was wrong... about my bridesmaids dresses! That I picked out! That she'd never seen! She swore that her daughter's bridesmaids wore the same dresses, and then she made me look at all of the pictures from her daughters wedding. Even when I saw the dresses and said that they were not the same, she insisted. She had my fiance trying on a vest with his tux that was much lighter than the dresses, and swore that the vests would match the dresses perfectly. She spent awhile trying to convince us to get brown tuxedos, since thats what they had used in her daughters wedding. I told her that we wanted a classic look, black and white. She told me that this wouldnt look as good as brown. Last time I checked, I didnt know brown tuxes were the "popular" thing to wear. She also took my fiance's measurements and insisted that he was a smaller size than he is, even when he protested. We found out at the next tux shop that she did not measure him correctly, or in the "standard" way. Thank goodness we didnt get his tux here, or he may have been wearing a slightly too small tux on our wedding day! I am a polite person, but she was frustrating me and pushing me to want to leave the store as soon as possible. I was worried about bringing my fiance's 6 groomsmen, our ring bearer and my father into this shop and making them deal with her and her rudeness. She was pushy and rude and she made both my fiance and myself want to take our business elsewhere, which we happily did. read more

This is a long one - and I do not recommend Zaccariello's for wedding dress alterations. I gave this business my dress on March 10th for a wedding in late August. The dress needed to be hemmed, have a bustle put in, and the shoulder straps taken in a little. This is my first time really needing anything important tailored, so I will admit that I didn't know what to ask. The seamstress told me it might take "a little while" because prom season was coming. She did not give me any more of a timeline than that, and no estimate for pricing either. I left that day, and didn't hear anything for over 2 months. I called in May for an update, to see when I should expect my dress back. The man on the phone told me my dress hadn't been started at that point because they had a lot of prom dresses. He was a little condescending, as if it were ridiculous for me to be checking in on when I'd get my dress back. He assured me that I'd hear back from them at the beginning of June to come in for a fitting. After a month, I called back to see when we could schedule my fitting. I was told AGAIN that they had not even begun working on my dress yet. At this point I told them I was frustrated, and I wanted a firm date. The tailor herself called me back and said that they would have me in for a FIRST fitting in the last week of July. My wedding is the last week of August. I told her that I wasn't okay with it taking that long, and if they had communicated this to me at the beginning I would have found another tailor. I said that I'd just like to just come get the dress. She backtracked and says she'll have it fixed for me soon. She also was very rude, and made it seem like I was being unreasonable for needing a timeline. So I went in for my first fitting during mid June. It looked okay, and she told me she would have it done by the last week of June. They called me to pick it up July 7th, but even that I was okay with because I figured the holiday weekend may have been busy. I did not have a second fitting, they simply called me to pick up the dress. It was $210 dollars total, and the hemline is completely jagged. This was a terrible experience, and if I could do it again I would not take such an important garment to Zaccariello's. I am going to try to see if another tailor can take my dress and fix the terrible jagged cuts in time for my wedding. TLDR: Took 4 months for 3 simple alterations to my wedding dress, with lots of prompting for them to do their jobs. The finished product is jagged and needs to be taken to another tailor to hopefully fix in time. Very dissatisfied and caution brides to find a different tailor. read more

This was my first time using the services from this shop and I was really pleased. I dropped off two pairs of jeans that had holes and a dress that I needed hemmed and they did such a great job! Zaccareillo's did me a favor a few years ago, I had a suit that I had hanging in my closet that I never had tailored. Sadly a family member died and I needed the suit tailored the next day. The staff at Zaccariello's said no problem and the suit was tailored and was ready to pick up the next day and they didn't overcharge me due to my time crunch. I will always remember how helpful they were with my problem. After that happened, my wife now brings all her clothing that needs to be tailored to Zaccareillo's. Recommend. read more

I was very disappointed with this place. My son who is very tall and thin rented a suit here for my friends wedding. When they went for the fitting she measured him out and promised for a slim fit pant. We picked up the suit Friday (wedding was Saturday) and the pants did not fit at all, we requested a bow tie and got a tie. When we mentioned that the pants didn't fit (waist was HUGE and the legs were huge as well) she looked at my friend and said if we came yesterday she could reordered placing all the blame on my friend. Never once mentioned it was a policy to come 2 days before and expected us to know that and told us she wasn't paying to overnight a new pair of pants. The rest of the bridal party had something wrong with their suits as well (pants or shirts not fitting at all). Her professionalism was non existent and I would never recommend this place to anyone. read more
