They genuinely just want you to find the dress that you love. So helpful. The shop is very cute and comfortable and the appointment times are relatively flexible, just call and ask! There's even some sample gowns that go on sale here and there which is a great way to save some money. I thought the gowns were fairly priced too and they have a tailor that they recommend. I ended up picking a gown elsewhere but I wouldn't have hesitated to buy one here, great options. I also like that they put the prices on the gowns so you know when your shopping. Love it here!

When we picked up the dress they had ordered a dress two sizes too big and do not do alterations (second red flag). You would think if you are paying $200+ for a dress they would at least try to accommodate and get a size that was close. Now because of how big the dress is we had to spend an additional $200 for the dress to be altered. So in total a bridesmaid dress is costing $400 for 1 day. Save your time and money and use an online site like Azazie so your bridesmaids aren't spending an arm and a leg for a dress they'll only wear once in their lifetime.

When the appointment started my consultant asked the usual questions, but it went downhill fast. After explaining what I did/didn't like, she pulled several dresses to start and we narrowed down what the next round of dresses should/shouldn't have. She then continually pulled styles that were very similar to the ones I said I didn't like. When we asked if there were other options in the store that matched what I was looking for, I was told there was "nothing else," which felt dismissive. At that point when my consultant said there was nothing else in the store, I'd tried on 5 dresses. For a store that promotes itself as size-inclusive, I was really uncomfortable with how I was treated. I was repeatedly squeezed into dresses that didn't fit properly, to the point where I could barely breathe in some due to improper clipping/zipping. At one point, the clips in the back popped open and the metal snapped against my back, which was both painful and embarrassing. There was one dress I liked but didn't love, and instead of continuing to explore other options the consultant kept pushing me to purchase it. She focused on how it could be customized, even though the things I didn't like weren't minor fixed... they were fundamental elements of the dress. Throughout the appointment, she kept checking her phone and commenting on the time, which made the experience feel rushed and uncomfortable. To top it off, I had clearly stated my budget, yet she pulled a dress that was nearly $1,000 over. Her response was a casual "haha whoops," which felt unprofessional and dismissive. SEVEN MONTHS LATER (the dress came in a month late) I picked it up, paid the balance, and brought it to my seamstress. (Lastrina does not do alterations, nor are they included in the price). When I tried the dress on again that same day I picked it up, I realized the fabric label said "100% polyester". I contacted the owner of the bridal salon immediately, and she said there was nothing she could do. The owner told me that her salesperson NEVER would have told me it was silk. I told the owner that polyester makes me itchy and she responded saying that "the majority of your wardrobe consists of polyester." She also said that because the dress is a high quality polyester I "don't have anything to worry about." (I'd like to make it known that I do not know this woman and she does not know me.)

As someone who is terrible at making decisions, working with Erica today to find my perfect dress made it seem easy and flawless. First off, booking was easy online and personable. I found an appointment available and got the confirmation quickly. Additionally the questionnaire and personable customer service from Erica all walked me through the process more clearly. Erica even took the time to check what styles I liked, explained some commonly missed facts about bridal size vs street size (I didn't even know either!) and made sure we were within reason for my budget. I was even more floored once we got to the literal dress floor. Hundreds of dresses available and Erica was able to narrow down easily what would work for me. In fact, the inventory changes frequently which means new stuff is added all of the time. I ended up loving all of them in some way shape or form. Ultimately I was able to find a dress that was MY dress. Not only did I feel it but Erica and my sister saw it too. What made the visit most memorable was how Erica was friendly, understanding, knowledgeable, personable, and professional. Unlike other experiences I had, she was there to answer questions, clarify things, and be patient with the fact that I don't know much about weddings as a whole. In fact she asked me the right questions to know and affirm that I will feel confident, comfy, and assured with my decisions.
