Cannot recommend Sergey enough, punctual, quick, and did a fantastic job. Gave an accurate quote over the phone, was able to come same day within two hours of speaking, and was friendly and went above and beyond. Fixed a hot water valve under the sink and replaced an old faucet. Prices are the best for exceptional service. read more

Called and got a quote over the phone. Came on time. Was professional, efficient and clean. Would recommend.

Sergey is knowledgeable and professional. He fixed what was needed to be fixed and went beyond expectations.

I reached out to Sergey for some plumbing and electrical work over the weekend. He put me in for an appointment on Monday and took care of everything quickly. Will definitely recommend. read more

Eugene came to fix sink and tub leaks in the bathroom and to install new fixtures including shower head, spout, and shower cartridge. He also installed new under cabinet lighting in my kitchen. All work completed perfectly. I would , ( and will), hire him again for other jobs in my apartment! He is competent, works clean, (this man showed up at my door with shoe covers in his hand!), explains what he's doing, and his rates are very reasonable. Very satisfied! Thank you Eugene! read more

I selected Zabivay based on other reviews because I needed their help at a relative's house in Queens. Incredibly positive experience: they responded quickly to my request via Yelp, set up an appointment for the following day, arrived on time, repaired the stairway railing quickly and well, and took care of additional tasks. Sergey and Eugene were both responsive. Eugene was professional and skilled. I highly recommend them. read more

Sergei was punctual, did a quality job - very fast replacing my shutoff valves in the kitchen. He also replaced some rusted pipe in my bathroom. It is a coop building, so he also submitted all the insurance paperwork. I was very satisfied with the work, price was reasonable. I will hire him for future projects and can recommend his services. read more

This is the third time we are working with Sergey. He is very thorough, does a great job and has reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Sergey was quick to respond with a quote. I had a leak under my kitchen sink. I also needed the kitchen faucet to be replaced. He arrived on-time and did a great job. read more

Sergey of Zabivay was fantastic - arrived within the scheduled window, worked quickly to diagnose and resolve the issue (kitchen sink drain was completely clogged) and left the area under the sink cleaner than when he started! I reached out to Zabivay at 7 PM and was able to schedule their help for the next morning at 10 AM. Pricing was fair and exact to the quoted price before arrival. Huge lifesavers, would absolutely recommend. Thank you! read more

ZabiYAY! Five years ago, they fixed the kitchen sink pipe for me. To this day, it is still going well without any problems So I called Zabivay when I needed to replace the kitchen faucet. A faucet I bought came with a part that didn't quite fit perfectly under my kitchen sink. But Eugene worked around and solved it. YAY! I love my new faucet and it's working beautifully. He's quiet, friendly and kind to answer my questions. Also, he wore a mask and shoe covers. Very respectful about covid protection. read more

Zabivay - New faucet installed - Plumbing Near Me - Forest Hills, New York

Such a great service. They were super communicative in investigating and diagnosing the issue with my toilet, giving me a quick and fair price, and setting up an appointment time. They came in with all the right parts and went right to work. I can not say enough good things about them and their services. I am making sure that I save their name and number. If there are any other issues I have in my apartment, they will be my first call! read more

I was looking for someone to come install three new air conditioners, and used the Yelp bidding process. When Eugene responded (almost instantly), I realized I had worked with him almost 7 years ago. Nothing has changed (in a good way)! I first got one A/C, and he showed up the next day, exactly on time, and installed it perfectly. I then got two more A/Cs and he came back a second time, also within a day and on time, and did a great job on those too. We had a little miscommunication during that install, and I realized after the fact that he installed the A/Cs in the wrong rooms. He didn't feel like the issue was on his end, but he still came back and swapped them at no cost. He's also just a super nice guy - he remembered working with me from when my child was just a baby. He works quickly and the quality is excellent - the TV and desk he mounted over 7 years ago are still going strong. He was also great about wearing shoe covers and gloves every time he was here. I can't recommend their services enough! read more

Fantastic experience start to finish - from initial contact, immediate reply, scoping, quoting, on time arrival, discussion of options, efficient work, handling runs to purchase needed parts, and explaining steps to maintain work done. Sergey also included some extra work that wasn't part of the scope in his quoted amount. I can't recommend his work highly enough. Just wonderful! read more

Our toilet broke and after a few failed attempts to fix it ourselves, we finally gave up and found these guys here on Yelp. They responded right away and within an hour we could scroll through memes again from the bathroom. Good price, fast service! We are happy with the results! read more

Sergery came in within 3 hours. He wore mask, gloves and shoe protectors. He was professional. Unfortunately he was unable to unclog my bathtub after using a hand crank snake for 30 min. He tried and it's not his fault. No fee needed. Tips: There is a minimal in-house call like $160 if job is done. Also negotiate pricing while on the phone making appointment. Sergery stated he didn't determine the price. Third, tell them all the job you want to be done, so they can prepare appropriate tools. read more

A good find! He went out of his way to make it to us even though there were some issues out of his control. Turned up and fixed a broken bathroom vanity door which had a broken hinge that had fallen and damaged the faucet. He also fixed the faucet, then helped with recessed lighting. Everything was done quickly, efficiently and clean. He wore boot covers and gloves. We will definitely be using Sergei again. read more

I needed to remove my old window AC and install a new one. I already had a very good experience with "Zabivay" several years ago , and I was satisfied with his service. And I was really satisfied this time too. Quick and qualitatively. Big thanks! read more

I hired Sergey to install an under-sink water filter, including drilling a hole in my granite countertop. He arrived on time and did a great job, quickly, and at a very reasonable price. It was an easy choice. I got quotes from more than 6 companies, and Zabivay was the most adequate. We scheduled an appointment in less than 3 min and the next day my bathroom faucet was installed! Price was not lower not higher than others. Definitely will use again. Thanks read more

Zabivay - Bathroom faucet - Plumbing Near Me - Forest Hills, New York

My kitchen sink was leaking so, once again, I called Sergey at Zabivay. We located the problem via photos & text. I was quoted a fair price and set an appointment. Zergey fixed my problem and very thoroughly inspected all components of the sink. He works very CLEAN, and tests and retests all of his work before leaving. He is a pleasure to work with & I won't hesitate when I need additional work done. read more

Excellent plumber, extremely reliable and quick! I had a leaky kitchen sink, I was able to explain the issue over the phone and with a simple picture via text he was able to identify the problem. He was at my home within 30minutes and fixed the problem in less than than 40 min. I would highly recommend this plumber, he was fair and upfront with pricing. Only fixed what needs to be repaired unlike other plumbers who try to upsell you and tell you you need more than you do. If I ever need a plumber again he would be the first person I call. read more

Eugene has done a great job! He was exactly on time, wore shoe covers, and was nice and polite. He spent around 30 min, connected and hid all wires, clean the dust, and left. That's what all professionals should do. For my next home project, I already know who I'm gonna call. The price wasn't the cheapest I got, but definitely worth it. Highly recommend! read more

Called to fix a leaky sink pipe. They came over the next day and fixed it. Very polite and courteous!

Sergey was the utmost professional contractor. He was responsive and was fully detailed on our project. We used Zabivay's services couple times before and always happy with the results. This time Nick came to fix our dripping shower. The whole process took him about 25min. He left no trace after job was done. Price was adequate. Will definitely use them again in the future read more

Sergey was great! He gave me 2 quotes online, one for the electrical work I needed done and 1 for the plumbing work. He showed up on time and completed the electrical work successfully, and he also explained what he was doing. I appreciated learning more about GFCI outlets. He worked on the plumbing but wasn't able to repair my tub drain lever or my shower diverter. He didn't charge me for the plumbing since he wasn't able to fix it. I appreciate his honesty ! Highly recommend him as an electrician if you have any electrical work that needs to be done. read more

Great work! Responsive and responsible. I would work with him again. Replaced switches and hung a tax.

Sergey recently helped me with two small projects. A bathroom vanity replacement and a range hood replacement for my stove. Both times he was extremely responsive. Both times he had to work around issues with this old house and both installations were done very well. He is extremely responsive and I would definitely hire him again for future projects. read more

Great job very professional clean up after job was done very fair price highest rating

Sergey came out on a holiday to repair a bathroom leak. His pricing is fair and his work was excellent - a rare find in NY plumbers!

Excellent service. Arrived early to my home to replace my kitchen faucet. He explained everything to me and was very kind. After several months it is still working perfectly and no leaks. The price he quoted was the price I paid. I highly recommend him and will use him again if the need arises. read more

The extension hose for our kitchen sink became damaged over time so it needed to be repaired or the entire faucet replaced. After checking Yelp reviews I chose Zabivey Handyman. During our initial call Eugene suggested that I purchase a replacement faucet and have it ready for him when he arrived. We scheduled an appointment the next day and I was quoted a fair price. Eugene showed up on time, worked quickly (even with an extra complication), left no mess for me to clean up, and did the job expertly. My only suggestion is for him to answer his calls more profesionally. "Hello, this is Eugene at Zabivey Handyman. How may I help you?" or something to that effect because "Hi!" or "Yes?" is very off-putting - I should know who has picked up the phone so that I'm sure I didn't dial a wrong number. read more

Nick did an amazing job. He came for a consultation the same day we called and returned for the job three days later. He installed our dishwasher very quickly and with minimal disruption even though he had to cut through wood cabinets to fit the dishwasher in. He even recommended we replace a corroded pipe we hadn't noticed and did it for a low price. We asked him to come back to remove old window gates and put in three in-wall ACs a week later. Again, he was very efficient, he got the job done quickly and professionally. Rates are very fair. Definitely recommend. read more

HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Showed up on time, fixed my issue quickly and he was reasonably priced considering he showed up within 3 days of my inquiry on my schedule AND a Sunday morning. Like others mentioned, he put on booties and completely cleaned up after himself. He also was kind enough to look at some electrical issues I was having and made some recommendations for my contractor when he returns. Generosity of skill and spirit get a fist bump from me every time and repeat business if needed! On a completely different side note and a jab at myself - when I saw what he did and how quickly.... I'm loser and I need to learn basic handyman skills. Nonetheless, call him. Fair, fast, courteous, clean and excellent work. Don't be cheap. Pay for the customer service package with our small businesses not just the work. It's worth it. Great business model for others to emulate! read more

I contacted Zabivay to get a price quote on some home services I needed. Lui C., whom I believe is the owner, messaged me back and I gave him a list of work I needed done. He gave me a price quote that was more than fair and sent someone to me within two days, with no problem. Eugene arrived and began working immediately. We had him do the following: 1. Mount three TVs 2. Assemble two sofas that were 58" long 3. Install two shower rods into stone wall 4. Install two bedroom curtain rods 5. Fix the lock on a door He did all of this in just under three hours! I was amazed and would hire him for any future jobs I have. Highly recommend these guys, as I feel super relived to have had this work done so quickly. I was worried about having so much to do and no one to do it and this company saved us! Five stars!!! Did I mention he did this all in three hours? Awesome. read more
