Favorite Thai place in the area, really heads and shoulders above the places I used to go in Nyack. Drunken noodle, crab Rangoon, chicken satay, all the curries are very flavorful. My friends and I find ourselves "craving Zabb" lol. The woman who always works there is very nice, gave me a free bubble tea since I was going there a bunch lately. Very simple but appreciated gesture, am not big on writing reviews but I'll go out of my way to support a small business doing quality work and who values their customers. This is the real deal guys! Isaan style food is the best type of food in Thailand. I come almost every day I am in Rockland county. The som tam is in point. Nam Tok the best I have ever had. Pad Thai, drunken noodle, soups and curries they slay with one hand tied behind their back. It brings back so many memories of my years in Thailand and mind you I worked as a chef in Thailand. So much more to tantalize your tastebuds for every spice level. I am so thrilled to have this little gem to visit when I am in the area. I truly wish them long term success! One of the best meals I've had in a while! The food was so fresh and very tasty. On the pricier side, but worth every penny in my option for the quality and amount of food you're getting. The papaya salad was delicious and made fresh when I arrived for pick up. Tried a few appetizers (especially loved the chicken dumplings!) and entrees (Thai basil spicy chicken, drunken noodles, chicken in brown sauce) between 3 people. I went to pick up the food and the owner was lovely - very pleasant and clearly cares about her customers and the food she puts out. Already looking forward to coming back! read more

WOW. I am so lucky this place is open on Mondays otherwise I never would have tried it as there are other local Thai places that I love. None of them have Monday hours though so we went in for lunch and oh my YUM. The chive dumplings are crazy good and the drunken noodles were the best I've ever had. I came here for the first time this week and was super impressed. I ordered my favorite Thai dish (pad see ew) and it was SO fresh and tasty. I don't usually finish the whole dish, but I just couldn't stop eating. In addition to tasting amazing, the presentation was beautiful. The owner was super friendly and helpful - making for a really wonderful dining experience. We wanted to try this place out so we ordered take out. We asked for a level 2 spice and they put a lot red pepper flakes and it was extremely spicy to the point where it was not edible. We tried many Thai places and level 2 spice is not too spicy for us in other places. So this place threw me off because we could not taste the flavor. Will not order from here again. We order in from Zabb Thai frequently. We've only gotten the Drunken Noodles and the spring rolls. Both have been delicious and tasty.

We loved our experience at Zabb Thai! So much so that we came back... two days later! The family who runs this kitchen was so friendly. The first time we came we were so impressed by the personal attention we received from the wife who waited on us. We were also amazed by the beauty of each dish, prepared so lovingly. I ordered the High School spicy for Green Curry... and it was spicy!!! It was great! My husband ordered College level and he loved it! Everything was delicious! When we came back two days later, we tried new dishes and loved it all. This time, the wife who was waiting on us before, came out and explained that she would be cooking that night instead. So her husband was our waiter. His service was great! But her cooking was INCREDIBLE!!! Not only that, but they gave us complimentary egg rolls while we waited for our meal. Zabb Thai has quickly become our favorite restaurant in the area! read more

Just saw this place one day coming home from work, where Grub used to be. Looked it up online and decided to order tonight with the family. We ordered the Pad Zee Yew, Thai Fried Rice with Duck, Chicken with Garlic Sauce, the Chive Dumplings and the Larb Gai and was extremely happy with the food. Everything was extremely tasty and no dish was like another. Not only that, but the portion size was quite larger than many of the other thai places around. The Chef and owner even gave me a free Thai Iced Tea. We now have our favorite local Thai restaurant within minutes of our home! read more

There are not enough stars to review this place properly! I literally just left this tiny bit mighty gem. From the outside, It doesn't look like a place you'd be leaving feeling pleased, because it next to other businesses that look a bit run down, but once you enter you are met with fresh flowers on each table, which adds a very nice touch of elegance. The waitress is very nice, and the food is something out of this world. I had a soup and salad, I wish I remembered the names (lol). And both were AMAZING!!! and I mean, truly amazing! It takes a lot to please my palate and this place this that and more. I will most definitely come back, and I recommend you try it, because you won't be disappointed! Second Visit. First visit three weeks ago- was fairly good. Staples: Pad Thai, Beef, and Shrimp rolls. Second Visit, Disappointing! Called in an order, and person taking order, could barely speak English. When I asked her how much, she gave me an incorrect amount. I brought it home to find out it was completely wrong! Too late to return, so I called the next day to let them know, and the same waitress (Blond Female), told me, that I placed the wrong order! I asked to speak to the owner and she just hung up the phone. I called back and the same. Sorry but rude, inefficient staff can drive (the same customers willing to give a new place a try) away. I will not be returning. After the owners empathic apology, my team decided to give this place another go. This time, in person for a sit quick sit down meal. They went last Thursday. Here is their synopsis. No one else was in the restaurant at the time. The same server, struggled to understand the order. After some eyerolling and deep exhales from the barely- English speaking server, she readback the order, incorrectly. It was gently corrected and the food finally came out but was sloppily served. The food was lacking in flavor and again the service was poor. The server spent more time on her phone than checking with the table. We had to ask for water, napkins and our tea. Poor hygiene too, wiping tables and bringing food without sanitizing her hands! Sorry Ms. Bello but offering patrons, extra food to substitute for poor, sloppy, rude and service is not a solution. Customers should not have to insist on speaking to owner/managers if they have properly trained staff -or if they kept on eye on the front of the house. (Owner was never seen). If you spoke to your staff, they surely did not listen. Sadly, worker is putting both customers and your business at risk, Seriously Yelpers, save your money and protect your health. There are plenty of good, clean, friendly nearby authentic Thai places that will be happy to serve you in West Nyack. read more

First time I went was very good. Since it was a brand new restaurant I expected service to be a little slow since they just opened a couple days earlier but it was exact opposite the service was very good and the staff was top notch. Went back recently and it was even better second time and I had taken my boss and his wife who was Thai herself and she was shocked at how authentic the Thai food was and she said it was by far the best authentic Thai food she ever had since coming to America almost 35 years ago. My boss says him and his wife are regulars now and he says she can't wait for her family to come visit so she can take them and experience it for themselves. I was visiting family in Nyack months back and happen to find this place I actually live in Westchester so to eat there I have to pay a toll for the bridge and drive a good 40 minutes but it is absolutly worth it. The food alone is worth the trip but it's also nice having such a friendly staff and when speaking to the owner who herself is from Thailand she was so polite and told us stories of her living in Thailand growing up and me and my wife loved them and we had been looking for a new food spot for years and I'm glad we finally found one safe to say we visit every weekend now and it gets better and better everytime. read more
